Thanks for that lovely memory.. My Grandparents are from New Milford and we had many Picnics at Lake Waramaug,I am 86 yrs. old now and think of New Milford often, it was a great town in my past and still is today..
I forgot to mention, that my grandmother and Aunt (Lucy Capozziello Testani and Grace Capozziello) Lived and owned a grocery store for many many years, down the hill from the cemetery. I'm sure, many folks will remember them ,fondly. ah memories,always. I really didn't forget this memory "how could I", I just didn't know how important it would be,for others to remember it?.
