Thank you, that actually means a lot to me and makes me really happy, I have a few awesome people who watch me who can't rockhound, and I will always take requests from folks like you if you ever want to see me go after something.... so long as it's in the United States (I don't have a passport ..... yet lol)
They may be small, but finding turquoise, and for free!?! Well that is super cool! Those were actually some pretty pieces. Nice colors and stable! Can't beat that! Thanks Jeff! That was a fun little adventure!💕
Agreed, and with the rain they have had I think alot of that wash was sandier than usual I want to go back during or safer still right after monsoon season and see what goodies can be found
I have seen them never needed them in the climate I am in most of the year but I think I may get one , and one of those neck cooling fans too, just have to see how loud they are
Fun video, my friend! I like the question about the turquoise and which came first...that's kind of like an orange. Do we call the color orange because of the fruit, or do we call the fruit that because of its color? LOL ANYhoo, I'm going back to Pine Ridge on August 10th, then Ron Coleman's on the 23rd...wish you could join me!
I wish I could too both places are AMAZING !! The orange one I know though, believe it or not the fruit is where the color name came from before the Orange was discovered it was called red-yellow, then they found the fruit and a native said "It's called an orange " prolly had a diffrent name but you know how words get changed by what folks hear and bingo bango red-yellow is now Orange, a lot less letters for old time scribes to write out LOL
Nice job getting back safely. I can’t handle that kind of heat. I have one of those neck cooling fans which helps a good bit but not sure it would be useful in 100+ temps. They are actually quiet. I recorded me talking while wearing it just to see😂
It is mind blowing how fast those washes fill with water. That's a valid warning you gave. Man, this has us missing the desert. Funny we watched your newest vid first and you mentioned what came first, turquoise the rock or color. 😂 our guess is rock because rocks are heavier than light (as light is what makes color). Therefor, the rock would travel at a higher velocity. Although, it couldn't beat the speed of light, so maybe color would come first? Hm... Lol, anyway, the turquoise is super beautiful. Hoping these Western vids never run out.
Hahaha I got a few more western vids up my sleeve, In fact will have a surprise western video shot next week .... depending on if it's where the fire was or not cause we are headed to Colorado for a week of R&R .... But there will be videos shot .... even if they are not great videos LOL
If you go visit let me know I can hook you up with a page of GPS locations, I love BLM land it's nice to be able to walk out into the wilderness and it not be on some ones property
I was worried I wouldn't find any. After that first piece, my eyes started to hone in on it .... although I did get a little side tracked by all the other cool stuff LOL
In that area, I'm sure their would be. I don't do any panning videos, I probably only get to pan like maybe once every other year, my area of the world isn't known for gold (I'm out of St.Louis) but next time I'm out west I may try to do a little panning somewhere. See if I can find any Shiney, I know. Ask Jeff Williams has been in that area somewhere, but he is a pro.
I find way bigger peices all the time! Not for free though lol. The people showing me these peices get real mad when you try and put them in your pocket and call dibs
I really enjoyed this video! For people like me who can't actually do it, this is fun to watch! Love that turquoise!

@@huntingrocks that would be fun. There are so many goodies, to be found in arizona!💕
Yeah man maybe not the "best" but finding turquoise for free is awesome!
Agreed, and with the rain they have had I think alot of that wash was sandier than usual I want to go back during or safer still right after monsoon season and see what goodies can be found
There are solar powered sun hats with fans.UV blocked and large sized.
I have seen them never needed them in the climate I am in most of the year but I think I may get one , and one of those neck cooling fans too, just have to see how loud they are
You said large, do you think he has a big pumpkin? I do too!!! hahahaha
The colour of some of them is so nice! The excitement of finding some so out ways the size of the pieces. Great experience, for sure
I was so happy to have found some, it's always a worrie of mine with a new place, but though not huge pieces it paid off well

I do too , I used to live out there as a kid I miss it , well not the heat any how LOL

I think I may get my self one, any amount of moving air is useful, would be good for around here in the summer too
@@huntingrocks yep and they are not expensive unless you pick one that is.
@soul_adventurist I like non exspinsive. Some say I'm frugal when actually I'm just cheap lol
@@huntingrocks I call it Fr’eap! 🤣
Cool finds. I’m not partial to turquoise but definitely wouldn’t mind finding some.
It's not my favorite but being a blue or green rock I'm all about it lol
