I recognize that place. Been a loooooong time. My Gramma lived in Kalapana and worked in Hilo. She would take us fishing to that island in the background. great Vid!!

What are you using for bait?
Thanks for asking. No bait just a gold hook you have to get the jigging technique down then sardines will bite.

Yes, plane hooks no bait. It’s the presentation aka how you work the hook.
Are you using any bait?
Thank you for asking. In this video I just used a plain gold hook no bait. It’s all in the technique of jiggling the hook the right way to get a strike. I’ve seen people use some kind of small plastic on their gold hooks, but I don’t know what it is 😅🤙
