Nice catch!! I love your channel!! Omg...KEEP THE CRAB!! Should have kept going for more Ormers for yourself since it was the last day. I would have loaded ip so you could freeze them for later in the year!!

Amazing day. Living the dream.
Why is the breadcrumbs yellow does it have flavouring in. And thanks for letting us know about cleaning them after in the fridge for a couple of days to make them more tender
Think there browned already
Bro..U need to be doing guided smash fishing forages you know ur stuff sir..could be beneficial culinerofinancially.. wise …if that’s even a phrase…😊
Sam got tired of catching the crabs. Itchy! 🦀
Great video, what beach was that?
Thinking about moving nearer the sea
Let's all get together, Bring back SAM . He'll yeah 😂
Smashing Larrys
I would have kept the other lobster...freezers are made for lobsters...crab...prawns...ormers...etc
Smash says "Dad I'm hungry"
That one was a telephone a few sheds ago.
What do ormas / abalone taste like are they really fishy or taste really sea foodie I'm always curious
should send the lobsters back with a snack. clawfull of cheap fish or dog food
Cooky looky in da house
The green ormer is a northeast Atlantic and Mediterranean species of sea snail, a coastal marine gastropod mollusc in the family Haliotidae, the abalones or ormer snails. The flesh of the green ormer is prized as a delicacy, and this has led to a decline in its population in some areas
You ever try urchin smash? I wonder if those green ones are even edible?
Think il need a really big one to try it , there is some in deeper water
Ps sorry about spelling errors happen bloody machine by the way how long do you cook ormers for 😊
Hi there fella, is there a limit to how many orders that you can take 😊
What do they taste like
Great forage, Jay. The ormers looked great. Maybe with a toasted bun with a cheese slice and a mayo or another sauce. Just a thought?
Are you from the states?
@@scrappydoo7887 Yes. Hope my suggestion didn't offend.
@@jeffreypinder9398 lol no not at all, it just seemed a little bit different, jay regularly puts them in buns with sweet chilli sauce though lol
@@scrappydoo7887 and I give him crap about the sweet chili sauce. 😂
@@jeffreypinder9398 lol 😆
👍👍
Just curious...how do you dispatch the ormers?
With a frying pan!
Have you ever tried Starfish ? i understand they eat them in china
They eat everything in china.
Oi Oi no lobos here now out of season until August then game on
No Sam, no inglorious. What has this world come to?
Hell yeah!
Sams started his busness 👌
@@SMASHFISHING it's good to hear that some of the lads are moving up
I’ve never eaten an orma. Don’t know if u can buy them
online. I’d rather have lobster 👍
Is lobster caviar a thing?
Obviously I understand that you can't take it but I'm curious if it's done anywhere else
Yuck...caviar
@@juliemanarin4127 I agree. I was merely curious
Question, here in the US for most places if they find a female lobster with eggs they notch the tail so it doest get harvested and continues to breed and keep the population healthy, is there anything like that in place in the UK?
That's just commercial fishing silly and it's all females lol
Where has Sam gone?
Got his own business 👌
@@SMASHFISHINGoh nice! Good for him!
You should be V notching all those breeders really though right. For the sake of the future "local rules" or not
No point if people over hear are not looking for the knotches , no point in doing it
Where is Sam these days?
Started his own business 💪🔥
@@SMASHFISHING Please tell him one of your fans misses seeing him on your foraging vids 🥰
Hello
Finally first
Do you ever eat uni jay?
No mate I haven’t had a chance to try as the ones in the shallows are small
@@SMASHFISHING I'll be honest mate I wouldn't eat it but I was curious about your view.
If you get a chance to try it I'd love to see it on a vid 👍
What is that?
@@juliemanarin4127 it's the inside of a sea urchin
So when the eggs have gone you would catch and kill it it's the future sure I heard not all are breeder's not trying be funny ❤❤
All of them are the future but you do what you can AT THE TIME and beyond that it's fair game
How would one know if it were a breeder...if it didn't have eggs at the time???
@@juliemanarin4127 you put a notch in the tail 🤯
@@tango1541 *we got an egger!
Give her a snack and send her back lol
Why don't you notch foraged lobsters that carry eggs?
It seems like it's only a thing done in the states, also commercial fishing.
