CATCHING PAPIO WITH SARDINES! | Cooking for my Parents | Papio Fishing | Hawaii Fishing |

In this episode of Saltwaters Hawaii, I went out fishing early in the morning for Papio using live sardines. There was tons of action as the Papio were hitting the sardines all morning. I ended up catching two nice Papios. I took them home to cook for my parents as they are always taking me fishing early in the morning :) I cooked the bigger Omilu Papio Panko style and fried the smaller White Papio. At the end of the day, I had a fun day fishing and was happy to provide for others!

Hey man, I've been now watching your stuff for about 2 months (recently new subscriber) and I really enjoy your videos. Its awesome seeing young generations enjoying fishing. I was thinking it would be really cool to see some handy tips and tricks incorporated into your videos. I feel like fishing is a specific skill with lots of little techniques that you pick up over time. Even just a quick tip about how to tie your hook, or a gear review, or even a bit about the seasons of oama or sardines on Oahu would be helpful as well as entertaining. To be honest, my favorite videos is when you clean and cook what you eat. IMO that's the real heart of fishing. Keep it coming!

That inside papio action was awesome to watch. You could have caught a lot of live bait with a Sabiki rig. (Damashi) What a treat for your parents. You have done well providing and cooking for them. 👍
