- We were fortunate enough to be part of a small group that was invited to visit the new home of Tequila Ocho. You might even recognize some faces haha. We harvested agaves, checked out the whole production, and got to do something pretty special with Carlos Camarena. The distillery is now open to the public and I can't recommend it enough!

Bravo
Brother man how do I get that tour, I would love to do something like that with you my wife and friends are huge fans of you and what you have introduced us too
Very cool. Very very jealous
Bro do you remember me from Houston's Pasadena?
How does one go about getting a tour of this place? I looked on their website and couldn't seem to find anything.
check out their restaurant Ocho agaves. they should be able to help!
Why do they do all that hard work without machines? It would be so much easier, less hot, less intense to do the tending in the field by machines
Because all that impacts the flavor immensely
@@TheLucasAssis_ Interesting take on it. Never thought of it that way !
It’s so crazy how much it changes the flavor
It's hard work, but it's also the traditional way and it definitely shows in their tequila. Mr. Camarena could easily cut corners like a lot of other tequila producers, but the man has passion and pride for his craft. I'm currently sipping on my first Ocho tequila, the el Nacimiento Reposado, and I absolutely love it.
@@elborrachosobrio9979 Thanks guys for all the insights. That totally makes sense. I am just getting into tequila and only drinking authentic brands and think i’ll never drink any other tequila now
Lucas keeping it real. Thanks for sharing this. unpopular commentary but some of those other faces there not named bother me immensely.
I felt like they needed no Introduction but you are right!
I'm steel working for Houston's
Why distilled only twice? Coralejos has a triple distilled product.
and unfortunately, they are known to use additives and diffusers with their tequila. 3 distillations is just trying to make a more smooth product, and tequila shouldn't be smooth.
