He brought this style of play to the Detroit WNBA team when he coached them, The man was not only the dirtiest player ever, he was, and still is, a total asshole.
He wouldn't have to. Draymond Green has 163 technicals, 19 flagrant fouls, 17 elections, and suspended 4 times for just how he plays. Bill went over 600 straight games before receiving one one game suspension. The rules were way different. He might still be tough but he wouldn't be able to act like he did without constantly getting suspended.

Laimbeer is a master at being a dirty player so Green would be frustrated and retaliate at Laimbeer and get a technical (which is what Laimbeer wants to do).

The 1992-93 Pistons could have still competed for a title had they kept John Salley because they added Olden Polynice at center to sure-up that front line, so they had a front court of: Laimbeer, Polynice, Aguirre, Rodman and you add Salley and you have a team, now they moved Orlando Woolridge and picked up Alvin Robertson, along with having Danny Young at point guard after Daryl Walker was waived, so that's Thomas, Dumars, and Robertson ... too bad they got rid of Salley ... they could have hired a better coach than what's his face. Waiving Vinnie Johnson and trading James Edwards to the Clippers was the worst thing the Pistons did to stop themselves from every competing again in the summer of '91.
