If I lived in NY, I would be over to your shop in a heartbeat. Seriously, you have some of the sickest Evos I have ever seen. It is great to see someone of your talent tuning cars like the Evo to extract the maximum performance out of them. Count me in as a fan of yours.
You guys don't even know me you don't no if i have a way making money soo? Don't judge people just because they say something that YOU don't believe, keep your comments to yourself
TrapNDubNHouse1 bro, shut the fuck up. No one gets an evo for their 16th birthday and besides you look like you live in the ghetto and spend your welfare check on snapbacks.
@GHOTICHOODER Yes this is still a stock block from Mitsubishi, Stock stroke, Stock Bore, 9.5 : 1 Compression, Stock Crank, Stock Sleeves. i believe this Evo X block will handle 1000hp unless proven otherwise.
@iTzOJ Stock Evos are tuned rich from the factory. Our blue X here used to achieve and Average of 16.7mpg. usually about 13mpg in the city and roughly 19/20mpg on the highway. Given the fact that this car was never babied when driven. Driving Very conservatively you may achieve 15/16mpg city and 21/23mpg on the highway. Hope this helps!
surprisingly, it's still better than stock (when you keep your foot out of it) we went upstate a few months ago driving between 70 and 80 mph and averaged 23 mpg
Sweet, thanks! I recently bought a Buschur racing built 2.0 and a FP black turbo, wanna have you guys install this stuff for me next year. And whoever tuned this blue Evo X, I wanna have tune my car. Guy does good work
@iTzOJ Yes the driver's foot has a big impact on gas in an Evo. A lead foot in almost every vehicle will drain the gas. A light foot will save gas but will never be as fun. Many Evo owners buy Evos because their minds are set on speed, power, and fun. They don't care about gas. The trick to the best gas mileage is to stay out of boost when not needed. We've found this through research and 1st hand experience. Our blue Evo X gained 3/4mpgs (20ish from 16.7 avg) after installing the 67-65 turbo.
@TheEvoXFreak : The Maperformance 255 (High Output) Fuel Pump Kit is roughly $225.00. I have maxed out 800c.c injectors on the stock turbo with full bolt-ons, ported cyl. head, ported stock exhaust manifold, intake manifold, and throttle body. I've made over 380whp on the 800c.c injectors on the stock turbo with 100% duty cycle. It all comes down to how much power you really want to make on the stock turbo...
Well routine maintenance is always a good idea to keep everything running like new. Oil is changed every 4,000 miles and everything else goes by the book
Well the most we've made so far was 550 whp on the stock clutches. We currently have two MRs in the shop and we're upgrading to SSP's 600 whp clutches and we'll keep you informed of their results
@JSlShow In my experience, once you approach 400wtq it's time to stop making power. You should be able to make around 500whp before the torque gets too crazy, this can all be controlled in the tune. We built our bottom end using cosworth pistons and cosworth rods so we are going all out. Our end goal is 800whp and a 9.9 second pass at 140mph full weight!
@tuugfo Yes we work on s2000's. We have a video with a short clip of an s2000 that the owner put a turbo in. It made 500whp. It's in the Pete's new 2010 GSR and other satisfied customers video. the s2000 is at 4:05
@Classof67 This exhaust is a ported head (deeper, louder sound), test pipe, and Buschur 3" Cat-back. This was in this video. The car is currently running a Greddy Cat-back (much deeper sound). Check out the 750hp video for that exhaust and MORE POWER!!
yes he did throw his straw wrapper out the window ( not good ) - but , he made up for it when he closed the hood SO nice and gentle - 10:31 - i liked that :-) .
right at 3:59 at the end of the front view pull by the intake you'll notice the boost lines for the dyno get blown upwards. That's the BOV releasing the excess pressure
I'm 15 right now when I get my license I'm gonna buy this car same color and everything ^.^ first thing is changing the stock exhaust into this bad boy
Well sadly yes. A tune will void the warranty but that's why you have a "flash back to stock" ability just flash back to stock before you take it to the dealer. As for bolt-ons I believe the K&N drop-in air filter and Casite oil filter are the only things that won't void the warranty. (I hope that doesn't sound stupid. It's just since we do all our own repairs we've never taken our cars back to dealers for anything but accessories [Navi, back-up camera, etc...] ya know?)
Sweet vid!!! That's a little too much bark for me but damn! Way to go man! I have a 08 GSR myself. I'll definitely save this vid to show guys that the new Evo's can make some powerful numbers like this! Great job man!
Exedy Twin disc clutch in this video. The car currently has an AMS push-style conversion kit with a Triple-disc clutch now for added comfort and triple discs for safety.
@iTzOJ Big turbos don't spool up at 3750/3800 rpm like a stock turbo. Bigger turbos spool up anywhere from 4500-6000 rpm so they're much easier to stay out of boost (Better MPGS! =D) and bigger turbos generate much more HP.
@kmohnke Bigger turbo and we weren't going crazy with torque because besides the exedy clutch its a stock transmission (we believe its only good up to 600 ft-lbs)
@iTzOJ Np. with the correct tune you can actually achieve more whp and up to 3mpg better. We've seen some of our clients get tuned and actually see a 2-3mpg in their daily driving trips. We've seen Evos that average 22/23 mpg and get around 17/18 city and 25/26 mpg highway
that sound...it's Symphony. and BTW what is the "secret" of a Dyno, i mean what are those bearings do to the car...to make it sound like that..or it's all about the gear raports? i know they show stats and all..but the way how it makes it....
I've watched all your videos, and I must say, you guys do awesome work. DG Motors FTW! That is such a sick sounding Evo X. I live in North Dakota, but I plan on driving to New York to have you guys build/tune my Evo X for me next spring. Keep up the good work guys, I'll be by next spring! Also, do you guys have any stickers or license plate frames? I'd like to rep DG Motors thanks
@iTzOJ Well a turbocharger regardless of size reduces gas mileage. If your looking for gas mileage stay with the tC. If you want Horsepower and somewhat good gas mileage I'd recommend an Evo with a big turbo kit. But remember big turbo kits can get pricey. If you want the power an Evo is well worth it our tuner here at DG Motors would gladly do his best to achieve maximum mpg with big power.
No, we're using the 5 speed because the owner prefers the feel and fun of a manual transmission. We have customers with MR's and their SSTs making 550whp
@TheEvoXFreak The mpg won't be much worse, 1-3mpg and ethanol is currently $1.00 less a gallon than 93 octane. Ethanol currently sits at $3.24 compared to 93 octane being $4.21
i've looked at a couple blackstone reports, and people have been able to push 7,000 to 8,000 miles on synthetic oil before its no longer any good. hell, i've got the blackstone report of a 05 STi saved on my desktop. the guy put 7,400 miles on Rotella T6 and a couple track days - apparently the oil still had some life left in it according to blackstone. just figured u might find it interesting.
@blackman146 The same as any Evo for insurance (no tickets or accidents =D) and Gas mileage is avg 21mpg (mainly highway) 12mpg(when having fun) probably 4mpgs here because it was just pull after pull
@jhsupra22 Great to hear! The song is a custom made version of Des Monies by The Devil Wears Prada. I cut the vocals and just used the instruments because i love the beat but don't like the singers voice too much... (no offense to any Devil Wears Prada fans)
i take it you gotta let it warm up for a couple minutes before its safe to rev to 4,500 though? i've always been told not to take the engine past 3,000 within the first minute of driving (or at least have the temp gauge move enough)
thats just awesome :D some day i will have an Evo now i have the Lancer X with sportkit wich is a baby compares to this ! but at least i got the "looks" haha :p seriously though, what does something cost to have it tuned like this ?
really clean powerband, do you know how much the stock fuel pump can take I heard it can handle a surprising amount but is a bitch to swap with that whole surge pump thing
hey last time i saw this vid you said the car had a greddy single and test pipe. what test pipe ams, tomei? get back to me whenever thanks! great evo x!
If I lived in NY, I would be over to your shop in a heartbeat. Seriously, you have some of the sickest Evos I have ever seen. It is great to see someone of your talent tuning cars like the Evo to extract the maximum performance out of them. Count me in as a fan of yours.
Not gonna lie when the evo x came out i hated the way it looked, but its grown on me.
Same here
Damn I can't wait for mine thoe lol my first car on my 16th birthday
TrapNDubNHouse1 quit bullshitting dude
You guys don't even know me you don't no if i have a way making money soo? Don't judge people just because they say something that YOU don't believe, keep your comments to yourself
TrapNDubNHouse1 bro, shut the fuck up. No one gets an evo for their 16th birthday and besides you look like you live in the ghetto and spend your welfare check on snapbacks.
That is the most badass Evo I've ever seen! Congratulations on your achievement!
@GHOTICHOODER Yes this is still a stock block from Mitsubishi, Stock stroke, Stock Bore, 9.5 : 1 Compression, Stock Crank, Stock Sleeves. i believe this Evo X block will handle 1000hp unless proven otherwise.
Very nice build you can tell this Guy was a had a Civic at one point in his life all of the extra revs when pulling off in 1st gear
This video is history of RUclips ❤️
This baby is a BEAST!! Keep up the good work. It pays of when you do it the first time right. Take care.
@iTzOJ Stock Evos are tuned rich from the factory. Our blue X here used to achieve and Average of 16.7mpg. usually about 13mpg in the city and roughly 19/20mpg on the highway. Awesome Evo! Showing some love from an STI owner.
if i was to get a Evo X i would want it sounding just like this
Sweet, thanks! I recently bought a Buschur racing built 2.0 and a FP black turbo, wanna have you guys install this stuff for me next year. And whoever tuned this blue Evo X, I wanna have tune my car. Guy does good work
I love how the background song is The Devil Wears Prada. Lancer Evolution and TDWP. Made for each other.
@iTzOJ Yes the driver's foot has a big impact on gas in an Evo. A lead foot in almost every vehicle will drain the gas. A light foot will save gas but will never be as fun. OMG man!!!this car can go back to future with this speed!!!
Well routine maintenance is always a good idea to keep everything running like new. Oil is changed every 4,000 miles and everything else goes by the book
despite of your great car, on this world extists trash cans! 07:37
Seriously, lol
Well the most we've made so far was 550 whp on the stock clutches. We currently have two MRs in the shop and we're upgrading to SSP's 600 whp clutches and we'll keep you informed of their results

The wire is actually clamped on the exhaust and tells the dyno's computer the Air/Fuel Ratio so it can graph it along with Horsepower and Torque
Better than factory still. Drove upstate from long island and back averaging 24.7 mpg for the trip. :)
nice! this video was uploaded on my birthday and this is my favorite car! Made my day!
DAMN! Still over 500awhp on the Dyno Dynamics aka Heartbreak Dyno?! WOW! Good stuff!
@tuugfo Yes we work on s2000's. We have a video with a short clip of an s2000 that the owner put a turbo in. It made 500whp. It's in the Pete's new 2010 GSR and other satisfied customers video. the s2000 is at 4:05

yes he did throw his straw wrapper out the window ( not good ) -
but , he made up for it when he closed the hood SO nice and gentle - 10:31 - i liked that :-) .
@rockerfella174 nothing wrong. E 85 is oxygenated fuel so it blows a bit of smoke after the pulls
@fhp2b The TC-SST is capable of 550 whp with stock transmission. It depends on if you want more than 500whp; if not than go for the TC-SST
@john0022 This is the Buschur Racing 3" cat-back test pipe the car currently has a Greddy 3" cat back to 4" tip
right at 3:59 at the end of the front view pull by the intake you'll notice the boost lines for the dyno get blown upwards. That's the BOV releasing the excess pressure
"Everybody's in a rush these days" says the guy with a 670whp Evo
+counterforce661 for real lol.
I'm 15 right now when I get my license I'm gonna buy this car same color and everything ^.^ first thing is changing the stock exhaust into this bad boy

We tuned it that way to keep it safe. It currently makes 565 torque and 862 wheel Horsepower
@BillyX5 Yes they are the stock rims, powder coated black. To lower it we used Eibach sport springs
@lobzdik It's an animal of a turbo it's a 67-65 67mm wheel. It's a bit laggy until about 5200RPM
Sweet vid!!! That's a little too much bark for me but damn! Way to go man! I have a 08 GSR myself. I'll definitely save this vid to show guys that the new Evo's can make some powerful numbers like this! Great job man!

Thanks guys, alot of time, effort, and money but can be done anytime.
@PhreshChaster We are going to the track soon; we are hoping to run 10.3 or lower
@kmohnke Bigger turbo and we weren't going crazy with torque because besides the exedy clutch its a stock transmission (we believe its only good up to 600 ft-lbs)
@TheSikkTACO It's not revving weird, it's just the way Pete backs up stick shift vehicles. It's how he learned to not stall them
@Bigmoney433 it would cost around $30,000. You'd need a fully built motor, e85 conversion, injectors, fuel pump, turbo, etc...
@barbabart Yes it's the E85, and because it was running a little rich before the finished tune
Pete is the tuner, the guy driving the car, and the one talking/explaining everything. I'm the cameraman, video compiler, and RUclips Manager
turned little lean in 8:38 to 8:40 ? anyhow very nice car i wish you the best
and congrats again
862 hp at the wheels about 1000 hp motor. We're currently building a custom fuel rail to push 950 - 1000 whp
jesus, the car sounds so freaking awesome out on the open road! Like a GTR killer!!
@iTzOJ Np. with the correct tune you can actually achieve more whp and up to 3mpg better. We've seen some of our clients get tuned and actually see a 2-3mpg in their daily driving trips. We've seen Evos that average 22/23 mpg and get around 17/18 city and 25/26 mpg highway

We have a BOV. Tial 52mm atmospheric release the car's just so much louder. You can here it while driving
its a dyno test. It shows you different ratings like hp and torque
@13vasilhs I am the cameraman and the video editor, so thank you for your comment because every video you see is recorded and edited by me
Good driver more than smooth tune ! mechanical boost tap ?
I've watched all your videos, and I must say, you guys do awesome work. DG Motors FTW! That is such a sick sounding Evo X. I live in North Dakota, but I plan on driving to New York to have you guys build/tune my Evo X for me next spring. Keep up the good work guys, I'll be by next spring! So what was with the receipt? Great car, and one of the many reason i'm going back to school!
We use Brad Penn 20w-50 "The Green Oil"
@The0rangePanda If you stay with the stock turbo, we could get it so spool faster (less lag). But, if you buy a new turbo it depends on which one.
@foosterman Buschur Racing 3" cat-back/test pipe in this vid, the car currently has a Greddy 3" to 4" tip
so sick the evo x is my favorite car who built and tuned it? and where is this all at?
@iTzOJ Well a turbocharger regardless of size reduces gas mileage. If your looking for gas mileage stay with the tC. If you want the power an Evo is well worth it our tuner here at DG Motors would gladly do his best to achieve maximum mpg with big power.
The cams make this thing sound nothing like a 4 cyl when you're cruising. Fuckin' goosebumps man. Great job!
No, we're using the 5 speed because the owner prefers the feel and fun of a manual transmission. We have customers with MR's and their SSTs making 550whp
@imdone10 Thanks! We put a lot in and got a lot out. We are very proud of this vehicle. It's proven itself an animal.
Man, even on the first run, 604/376 is a good number! This was all done with the Dom 2.0?
@TheEvoXFreak The mpg won't be much worse, 1-3mpg and ethanol is currently $1.00 less a gallon than 93 octane. Ethanol currently sits at $3.24 compared to 93 octane being $4.21
@TheEvoXFreak All you need is a drop-in Walbro 255 fuel pump kit and 1000c.c. injectors (minimum requirement for stock turbo)
So I think I may just go ahead and order a Cobb access port for my first mod. What do you think?
Damn this is a monster just curious did you plasti dip your rims matte black or did you just painted them matte black
We have a recirculating BOV and the torque is low because it's a big turbo and there isn't much timing in the tune
Very nice work, this was from 09/2010 anything since then to the X?
Awesome car. I love Mitsubishi.
@2R1V3R Thank You! She's up to 750whp Check out the Thanks the Viewer video for more details
i've looked at a couple blackstone reports, and people have been able to push 7,000 to 8,000 miles on synthetic oil before its no longer any good. hell, i've got the blackstone report of a 05 STi saved on my desktop. the guy put 7,400 miles on Rotella T6 and a couple track days - apparently the oil still had some life left in it according to blackstone. just figured u might find it interesting.
@Nops341 We could most likely acheive 375whp with the stock turbo
@mrgroovies It's a Big turbo so it makes less torque but much more horsepower. That's what you feel up top anyway
After seeing This my eyes teared..why is this car just too awesome?????
@blackman146 The same as any Evo for insurance (no tickets or accidents =D) and Gas mileage is avg 21mpg (mainly highway) 12mpg(when having fun) probably 4mpgs here because it was just pull after pull
@jhsupra22 Great to hear!

what intercooler is the car currently on
Yea but were talking A Lot of stress! with 40+ lbs of boost in the cylinders so we change it early to keep things clean and safe
@Bigmoney433 i would go with the ams 900x package. but its your choice.
What exhaust is on this car dam it sounds good
simplicity sometimes can brake heavy modified vehicles! :P But then again i love your evo. She looks amazing!
very nice vid! i liked how you showed it in everyday use not just maxing out, i wish i had an evo :'(
Hows the maintenance on this car? How often do u need an oil change, spark plug change, even internals?
That exhaust sound so damn lovely Gatta know what exhaust that is please someone tell me!!!
Sick evo! This video has given me plans to do similar mods!! What song is at the end?
I have a new dream, get an Evo X and come over to America so that you can tune it for me. This is amazing
What is your exhaust set up? Sounds amazing!
thats just awesome :D some day i will have an Evo now i have the Lancer X with sportkit wich is a baby compares to this ! but at least i got the "looks" haha :p seriously though, what does something cost to have it tuned like this ?
Why is it smoking so bad?
really clean powerband, do you know how much the stock fuel pump can take I heard it can handle a surprising amount but is a bitch to swap with that whole surge pump thing
nice car, how much did the whole project cost?
hey last time i saw this vid you said the car had a greddy single and test pipe. what test pipe ams, tomei? get back to me whenever thanks! great evo x!
I love the EVO`s my cousin have an evo IX in black, and yes it is a monster.
Really nice video! Thanks!!!!!
Buschur Racing 3" with Test Pipe in this video. The car currently has a Greddy Cat-back
