I’m a detailer, I usually do the interior first that way after the exterior is washed, clayed, etc more dust doesn’t get in the outside before correcting. Good choice cleaning the inside first guys. Looks great!
Im also a detailer, The method you use is not advised but I use the same method of cleaning the interior first and exterior second which imo is way easier to keep the car cleaner
@@btwitzisaiah7266 I just thought that cleaning outside first than the inside makes you wanna come back clean the outside again once youre doen with the inside.. =)
Excited to see how it looks after! Bet it’s a blast to drive. Edit: might be worthwhile wrapping clear ppf on that diffuser piece where you get the carbon buildup
I really appreciate the talent and passion from the Automotive Aesthetic team. Seeing the car literally get revived from neglect is beautiful. Life happens and things age with time, including cars. Love, patience and passion can go a long ways in any situation. Thank you for sharing this journey. Daniel would be proud❤.
I'm not a detailer, but I enjoy cleaning and watching cars being freshened up like that. I bought a polar white v70 this summer. You could not see any white paint under the hood. After a lot of brushing, degreasing and effort, the engine bay looks like a brand new car 20+ years after. So satisfying
So happy to see Wendell's dream being kept on by the you guys and Automotive Aesthetics former partners. Elated to see the Evo being brought back to how it should've been in the first place.
Already such a huge improvement! I think new wheels and a new wing will go a long way, maybe a shorter wing or duck tail with some 5 spoke wheels? I think going for a bit more subtle style will help the wide body shine since its in such good condition. Excited to see what you do next!
Detailing videos originally weren’t my favorite. I was younger and new to car content. Now as someone who’s been in the scene 3 years now I find that I absolutely love them
Soooo just a thought. I’m a tech for a dealership, I love changing fluids because it’s satisfying. Maybe do a ASMR video of getting all the fluids in the Evo changed?
I love the fact that an Evo X is one of my dream cars. I also love that it makes a LOT of power. What I don't love about it is that even with all the aesthetic mods, branded as they may be, the execution is just not where my eyes and brain would like it in any way. The wheels and the widebody kit is an eyesore. Maybe it's the annoying factory red color too, but I don't like the way it looks. Go to town and change it up, Ben! Make it your own!
love g&g videos, especially ever since i saw the video of you coming through Beckley, WV, which is about 30 minutes from my home, in your old cross country video with the evo X. this car as one of the first videos and that video is what really piqued my interest with you guys because i’m always looking at new ideas for an evo x haha. a maaassive upgrade imo would be the newer dash, where it’s not red and slightly less red, and it’s instead the more modern crisp blue and white. i used to have a red ralliart and now have a white x and tbh that’s one of my absolute favorite aesthetic differences haha
Love that you finally got an Evo after all this time! Haven't heard the car yet or seen how it drives but hope to in next episode, looks great cleaned up well, now you will have a fair opinion if the car has been taken care of and you get to enjoy it. Welcome to the club :-)
Brake dust itself can eat through a wheel if not cleaned off often enough, having it sit for years would absolutely allow the brake dust to work its way through the chrome
Damnnnn that color is just so nice it's like a combination of candy red and herry red... I'm an EVO fan... I really love it I wish even the bottom was clean. Time to change the wheels i guess
Automotive Aesthetic as always amazing work and the editing is dope. However the music is always on point. Congrats all around I enjoy these videos find them so soothing.
Bro I got an evo currently my project car was kindly asking whatever you want to dispose will be of really good help for me .. thank you and keep the videos coming
Looks good. I recon tho with the wheels. If they used the right metal polish they could of fixed those wheels up a lot more. Maybe not 100% if the pitting and corrosionwas too deep but definitely a lot better than what they left it at.
On those wheel if you want to try something relatively cheap there is a metal polish called pig snot metal polish, it’s meant for bike but it work wonder on metal it’s like 7.00 on eBay
I assume thats real chrome finish on the wheels. Chrome pitting is normal oxidation. Aside from not caring for the look, its a reason I dont bother with chrome pieces.
This video should be named "Letting other people detail my Evo"...it's a promo video for the guys from Automotive Aesthetic (and they do an amazing job).
Wow!!! That girl cleaned up amazingly!! What a difference that makes!! Looks wonderful!! Fantastic job by those guys!!! That is a great color to. This makes me sad that dumb mitsubishi killed off the beloved EVO!! Just think what could have been with an EVO XI????? With the resurgence of fun JDM cars. The MK5 supra, GR corolla, the 86, the new Z, new Type R. manufactures are making possibly one last run at fun enthusiast cars. I would have loved to see what a next gen EVO would offer!?!? North of 400+HP easily I’d guess for starters along with obviously a fantastic AWD system, aggressive punchy looks with some fat fenders and a big swan neck wing ooooo man if only a perfect world existed.
Love the fact that previous owner that you know. spend a lot of money for cosmetic parts and maybe washed the car sometimes but never put attention into interior where he sat all the time.........
Bro for the wheels all you need to do is use rust removal spray and spray it on and leave it for 5 minutes than scrub it off and wash it.. It will be as brand new. #SaeedC.D
@@justinandchill3904 that is true, he mentioned that he’s only not keeping it because he’s planning on selling it back to his friend the original owner, who only sold the car because he couldn’t afford it in its current state anymore. so maybe it still might be worthwhile to turn it into a more reliable, street oriented car with mods for his friend instead of its current state.

I always clean the inside first too
It's usually quicker to clean and an easy box to check in the detail process

Amazing how these guys take their craft so seriously.
As they absolutely should.
I can't see a car getting worse physically as it sits if its been indoors. Rather than having been driven 100k in the last 6 years
the polishing of the carbon fiber next to the tail pipe was the most satisfying

That wing is definitely Savable good little send down and A coat of lacquer with do the job.
Automotive Aesthetic does great work👍
Awesome job reviving the Evo. All the carbon pieces are mint now.

oh man... what a GREAT way to start off my day. woke up to the new upload, got my breakfast and coffee :) life is good
I’m happy this evo is no longer in storage! Came out super clean !I hope to own one in the near future. 👌
Wish the detailing guy from 4 years back was still alive. Love to see Automotive Aesthetic again tho!

Time for titan wheels!!! Get a wing from the same company as the one on the Honda hatch, and new updated jdm headlights, done!!! 😊
They did a nice job! BTW those blue brackets on the strut tower bar stick out like sore thumbs. I'd be tempted to paint them black.
Satisfying.. watching this vehicle be cleaned. ❤
AA always knocks it out of the park!
Congrats on the new car! Its beautiful.
Was just about to detail my sti before putting it away for the winter. This video will be handy
Evo series videos will be very interesting to watch.Watching you make it your own will be very interesting
Fix it and keep it. Sell the STI and use the money to buy a current generation Forester, kit that up too and you have some of the best JDM cars ever.

I love those taillights on the evo
i feel like if i really loved my car and needed a good person to take care of it ben would definitely do a good job with it
Never Ever EVER neglect that classic head-on shot of the foam spray!
The rust on the wheels is from embedded brake dust particles. They rust over time, expand, and usually ruin whatever coating they're stuck in.
Deleting the spoiler and paint matching the hood and trunk would do wonders for this thing.
Much better car with just a clean up. So nice!
The first thing I would do is buy the STM power steering reservoir... such an eye sore being yellowish.
Bro I got an evo currently my project car was kindly asking whatever you want to dispose will be of really good help for me .. thank you and keep the videos coming
Looks nice! You should try to use 0000 grit steel wool on the wheels, could make for a cheap fix’
