Same thing with Linnanmaki in Helsinki, Finland. It's a great park, but quite small and compact because it's been built on top of a rocky hill in the middle of the city. Space is very limited and many loved rides have been taken away to make room for new ones.
Just wanted to take a moment to thank you guys! TPR has been a good source of fun and knowledge over the years! keep riding and filming this beasts!! Greetings from Mexico
@@SixOThree it does have an anti-rollback device, but it isn't obvious how it works. I only know because the same design failed on another model - Lisebergbanan.
Just out of curiosity was this ride there and more rides built within it or was it built on top of all the other rides? p.s. thanks for leaving in the lift hill, I'm probably the 1% that enjoys watching them
Jetline was Grona Lunds first rolercoaster and all the outher things were bult after it Sorry for my bad English accualy I live in Sweden close to Grona Lund
Finn Rudebeck I think it could be the way you didn't even adress the real issue (that Grönan did indeed have a roller coaster before Jetline), and instead just chose to pick on the poor spelling. I'm a "grammar nazi", so I can definately be sympathetic about that. But picking on poor spelling in an otherwise benign comment is just bad form, and doing it when the author of said comment has been pre-emptive and apologized for the spelling in advance is just NOT how you go about it. Besides, if you're gonna dissect someone's spelling, make sure your own comments contains 0% faults.
Wow, thats the most intertwining of different roller coasters that Ive ever seen. That looks great. I wonder if they have the same restrictions as others do as far as not being able to run all the different rides at the same time. Apparently it being a safety and possible biohazard issue. Nothing like another rider on a coaster above you spewing their hot dog and cotton candy all over you as you pass below on the other ride. Or them losing their loose tennis shoes and it smacking you across the face :).
Can I ask a question? Why does everyone hate on TPR and Rob? I think that their commentary is hilarious and if you don't like it, just watch coasterforce's POVs! And people say he attacks other channels who stole his videos, but he has every right to do that! Unless you have a licensing deal with him, its considered copyright infringement to post other channels' videos! He has his opinions, and you have yours, so don't hate on him.
+Pieter Auper Oh, we don't use a fisheye lens. We use a wide-angle, but it's not distorted at all like a fisheye lens would be. Here's an example of that: paulbourke.net/dome/cameras/nikon_city.jpg
+Theme Park Review Whatever lens you are using, it is distorted. Not saying i don't like your vids though, love 'm. It's just that the angle makes the sides of the video curved and the track more stretched out. It makes the ride look faster, but less realistic.
+Will Hoover TPR's videos are good because they usually have good and fixed cameras, many other channels often have handheld cameras and you don't see anything because it is shaking too much. But I still dislike the kinda childa "weee helixhelixhelix" and such stuff, I don't think there is anyone that watches the videos because of that, I assume people here just want to see the rollercoasters. This is not supposed to offend anyone, it is just my opinion and I am still thankful for the high-quality videos.
Out of curiosity about how close do the supports come to the rider. I love the look Schwartz traveling loopers but I'm tall and really paranoid about smacking my head (It happens often, this world is made for short people) so I've never been able to muster the courage to ride one.

+TheKenji2221 yeah, and its more shaky on camera. i just wish for the park to build something more epic, with loops and stuff. well we have insane. but thats not enough :P
Am I the only one who knows that this coster is in fact NOT manufactured by schwarzkopf? BHS and Zierer cooperated to build this coaster. In 2000, the first drop was rebuilt by Maurer.
Is this ride identical the the knightmare coaster that's sbno at the closed camelot Park? that ride needs saving if it's only one of two, it would be a credit to another parks inventory as they where intense and whemm before their time. A truly decent classic coaster.
The jetline is a bit bigger than knightmare. Jetline goes higher in the beginning, its first drop is steeper, after the first drop when you go up in the air again jetline is further away from the station than knightmare and jetline has 2 tunnels
@@thespeakerguys-testingspeakers thankyou for this info, did you get to ride both? , knight mare has been scrapped, the owners where too greedy to reduce the price and instead of admitting the price was too high considering it needed a full refurb dismantle and rebuilt and reducing the price to find a buyer they ended up settling for scrap value. The ride was meant to have elaborate scenery, similar to BMR-X at Kobe Portopialand in Japan (now Knightmare at the defunct Camelot theme park in England) but for some reason the scenery never was installed. The extra supports were meant to hold up the fake mountain and now hold up Vilda Musen, the Gerstlauer wild mouse that weaves around the ride. The more you know!
It's amazing how Grona Lund can pack so much stuff into such a small space.
+Chris Mccall I agree. Grona Lund don't have that much space anymore so if they want to build a new ride, they have to tear another one apart.

How to make a Schwarzkopf: Make the g-forces and transitions as extreme as possible without being dangerous
They were unique! The first drop on "Thriller" was the best one I have experienced (particularly in the back seat) to this very day!
That’s why I like the loops
With curved brakes and a turn in the lift
The first drop was amazing. I heard it was up to 4G's. Didn't black out, it just pulled my head down.
This coaster is made by Zierer
The most "RCT-like" park ever. staking stuff on top and through other stuff
Looping Rollercoaster1 is a great value.
And... they now are building one more! That will mostly twist along the parts that earlier had no roller coasters (buildings for bumper cars etc)
Took the words right out of my mouth.
well an rct tiny park anyway.

This looks insane. It's not like Knightmare is very important if this is still open. Gotta love the Schwarzkopf loopers.
I believe Liesberg has one of these too.
it is still open or yeah it opens with the park in the summer it is closed right now
It does if you live in the UK I hope knightmare gets relocated as it would be a credit to another park.
Swarzkopf all day long
did anyone else see this and immediately think of knightmare at Camelot
Tom Jetline to Knightmare is like Rampage to Megafobia. Jetline is a bigger version of Knightmare but with some slight layout changes.
That lift hill shape is sooooooo cool
I like how many coasters there are concentrated in that one spot.
How does that curved chain hill work? And why aren't we having more of 'em now?
+Revi M Fadli I mean the lifthilll. Why don't new coasters (especially compact ones) by other existing manufacturers use them?
I don’t know how it could work and why they don’t do them any more...
They are used at grona lund to save space
Wait. Is that lift hill missing anti-rollback?
@@SixOThree it does have an anti-rollback device, but it isn't obvious how it works. I only know because the same design failed on another model - Lisebergbanan.
