- Grona Lund is a waterfront amusement park in Stockholm, Sweden. This may be one of the densest parks in the world. It's truly amazing how much they pack in! Despite being less than 10 acres in size, the park features 8 different roller coasters, 3 different drop towers, some dark rides, and so much more. This video ranks the park's top 20 rides!

Congrats on 30k subscribers!!!
Thank you!
When i was in stockholm it was such a tease having this place closed in October. Definitely need to come back in the summer
That's a bummer it was closed.
@@CanobieCoaster It be like that sometimes but was there primarily for a music festival. Still managed to have enough time to squeeze in the vasa museum and the viking museum though
Lustiga huset used to have a large fan in the floor at the bottom of 7:47 that blew up skirts.
The grate is still there but it was deactivated in the 2000's.
I can imagine why it was deactivated.
@@CanobieCoaster the park was pretty run down in the 00's and the area of the park outsiide Lustiga huset was attracting a bunch of creeps that either just stood there all day or they mixed that with hitting on 14 year old girls less than half their age.
The prank itself is pretty harmless especially in a culture like Swedens.
I would have prefered them to block the view for an audience outside then just take it away. It was more of a surprise to guys in lose clothing anyway, girls are used to looking out for that stuff.
I haven't been to grönan since i was like 7. i'm so excited to try some new coasters.
Someone I know recently passed by this park on a vacation and I couldn't believe they didn't go! Also, congratulations on 30k!
Thanks!
This park's ride lineup really is amazing. I hope their future expansion goes well and I'm excited to what potential roller coaster may go there
I'm looking forward to it as well.
I love that funhouse I almost died on these stairs, I wanted to film and climb them both at once and they go way higher than I thought and my foot felt and I was holding on with my hands, luckly the operator saw it and stopped them for a minute so I could get back up
That's lucky! I used a mounted Go Pro so my hands were free.
Great video! Very nice collection of rides and coasters here! I enjoyed watching!
Thanks!
@@CanobieCoaster You're very welcome!
8:33 it has always intrigued me on how the block brakes on Schwarzkopf coasters are banked
It's neat.
Great countdown. First and foremost, RIP to the departed. Very cool-looking park, It reminds me of Indiana Beach with more touches of gold in the ride aesthetic.
The B&M invert looks really cool, I see some head and leg choppers, which is great because the park takes pride in Lustiga Huset. Instead of scares and craziness through Lustiga Huset, you'll get scares on a grander level with how close it moves through the architecture.
I wish there were more carpet rides like Flygande Matten. Kennywood had one of these and it was a beautiful one. I miss the noise it wold make when it would go through its cycle. I miss the beauty of the design and that whoosh.
I absolutely love the overall atmosphere at this park.
I live in Stockholm and I’m at Gröna Lund all the time and my favourites are 1. Insane 2. Ikaros 3. Pop-expressen (because everyone allways sings with the music) 4. Tilt 5. Flygande matten
Such a fun park!
Congrats on 30k! Any plans on what your doing for the special
Thanks, likely a live stream. I will give a day's notice.
As for Zak spins: I've never been on one. I wasn't impressed with the S&S free spins but not because they were uncomfortable; because they were sort and felt more like flat rides. Subtract feelings and there are trims on EVERY drop in those S&S free spins. However: Green Lantern was considered to be much worse than Insane at Grona Land, but I've never ridden an Intamin Zak Spin coaster, so I'll take your word for the fact that this is one of the best intamin Zac Spin coasters. Thanks for posting, that drop tower at the end looks EPIC!
ZacSpins pull more force, but free spins flip more.
You reached 30k congratulations
Thanks!
I personally will rank both Musen and Insane a whole lot higher. Insane at number 2 for me actually.
Great video. I actually expected Lustiga Huset in your top 3 at least
Lustiga Huset fell on my return visit. As I visited more European fun houses, I saw some of the gags more frequently, but it's still a top tier fun house.
They just announced that Jetline is closing down for good
I heard. RIP and it was tragic what happened.
When you did the countdown for your fifty favorite theme parks, you stated while talking about Grona Lund that Lustiga Huset was your favorite ride there. To get it pushed back to seventh place is a bit surprising. You also stated in your review of Monster that it could be your favorite ride there. Talk about having second thoughts at the last second.
In my Monster review, I believe I said it could be my favorite coaster there, not favorite ride. As for Lustiga Huset, I have been on more European fun houses since I first experienced it so it didn't blow me away to the same extent it did in 2017.
Good video and thank you for commenting on my video it is inspiring me to make more content on my channel I love your videos and there so inspiring keep up the good work I love the vids
Edit: Also Congratulations on 30k subs your doing really good 👍 🥳
Thanks!
5:40 "enderman zack"💀
Going in August although it seems to not be in the best place right now.
Obviously the Jetline accident apparently they lost around $17 million
Twister has been SBNO since 2022
and I'd Imagine their planned tilt coaster might not be happening now.
This park has always had more money than land to build things, but the accident seems to have really hurt the park's reputation.
i love monster
Me too.
After an entire day walking around Six Flags Magic Mountain, this park looks like heaven 😂 I’m gonna try to visit this park if I ever happen to visit Sweden
Btw I’m not hating on six flags. I still had a very fun time there despite all of the “mountains” there
I know what you mean. That's just a big park.
"Its too crouded here" 😠
"I cant find the park exit" 🤬
The midway was packed on concert day, but the ride lines were minimal.
one of the things i find really impressive is that jetline is a clone and not an original layout
True, but it bears resemblance to Knightmare.
@@CanobieCoaster it's a clone of it so yes
Bro I'm Swedish and love Gröna lund but he pronounces everything wrong💀
Sorry for butchering the names. I don't speak Swedish.
@@CanobieCoaster Nah its ok no hate btw
