I love Hungary, Hungarians and Budapest, koszolom and greetings brothers from Lengyelorszag!

Beautiful, elegant and amazing Budapesht - this is the correct pronunciation.
I’m enjoying watching my city getting explored and described.
Im coming to budapest 😍💙
I want to buy a second home there ASAP.. Hungary is the best.
Szép város
Me too but the pronunciation bothers me. BudapeSt not budapeszt and also danu River is Duna not danu😂 otherwise it's fun to watch
@Fn n Have you ever been there/talked to locals? Or are you just judging without experience? What you see in the media doesn't represent the people living there...
This is absolutely one of the best videos I've seen of our beloved City❗❤
Thank you so much! :)
One of the best tours of Budapest on youtube.
I've been living here for 4.5 years and you've done a great job of showing some of the more popular attractions that will give people a good guide to follow.
Thank you so much! :)
@@maxnomadtravel Thanks for taking the time to reply. Let me know whey you plan to return to Budapest and I can give you a couple of other places to check out!
We have a trip planned to Budapest, Vienna, etc. in April 2022. Learning as much as I can in advance. Hope it will be open for business after all the Covid shutdowns!
@@dawnmc3101 If you plan a roadtrip, I'd advise you to take a detour to lake Balaton, especially the North shore and the highlands. Exceptionally beautiful villages and scenery with nice restaurants and wineries, especially in spring. It's not far from the motorway that goes from the Austrian border to Budapest and it takes about 1-1,5 hours to get along the whole lake (route 71). Even as locals, when we're travelling there we always include this little trip.
@@fanni24 hello ! Iam visiting Hungary this Oktober. Is it really cold there in Oktober? What about covid and tourism? Thanks a lot
We were in Budapest before the world stopped, and it was an unbelievable city! Walking around really felt like we were in a Wes Anderson movie with how picture perfect so much of the architecture is. Really well put together video Max, we'll have to use your suggestions next time we find ourselves visiting Hungary! 😊 👍
We were there the Summer of 2019, and it has a feel of Pre Tourist Prague. It is a must see city, while it is still so cheap.

I am impressed. You found a place I had never heard of before. And I have walked past it at least a dozen times! The Parisi Udvar.
Üdv hallod amiket bemutattál annak a feléről azt se tudtam, hogy létezik Magyarországon élek, de falusi gyerek vagyok szóval köszi :)
I'm hungarian and very proud while I watch this. Thank you! Also it was funny for me when you said "Fakanál étterem" I laughed a good one :)))) fakanál is wood spoon :) in our language........ :D
Ohh and there is the Margit island which perfect for hangout and chill and there is a great bath too. Or the Terrors house museum...
Thank you so much for your comment and the advice. It's really helpful! :)

@@mtrhgfdssa6472 much love brother!!
We just spent 3 days in Budapest as part of a longer 2 week Central European tour. It is a must stop for food and nightlife! We LOVE It!
Nice for tourists, put Hungarians suffer from hunger, poverty. Lots of pickpockets, scammers, male and female prostitution, homeless people, corrupt police who might illegally arrest tourists.
You convinced me dude, I'm moving there
Haha, I love your comment. I’m happy you found the video so inspiring. 😃
We've been to Budapest last summer too, and we are loving it! Budapest is breathtaking and people are welcoming.

Budapest stole my heart!
Lol I’m from Budapest and up until now I’ve never known about that working Fishergirl fountain… I’ve walked by it a million times but I learned something new today. Great video! Thank you for promoting Hungary and particularly my hometown, Budapest 💛 Much love
Glad you liked it here! Big ups for the accurate pronunciations! :)

Just came back from budapest.. what a great city, people are so friendly and all prices are reasonable ..I'm sure i'll be back again in the future.
I don't know where did you buy your things, food, ect, but I felt bad when I saw the prices in the turist shops, restaurants or in the Christmas Market.
Everything here is way too overpriced. The souvenirs, the goulash, the fish soup, the kurtosh kalacs, and the langosh.
We eat the "langos" by hand... :) I've never seen that to eat it with a fork before. :) Thanks for this video, it is a good image of Budapest.
I've never seen anyone eating lángos with knives and fork 🙈 Hope you enjoyed it!😊 Great video! ⭐🎉

As a Hungarian I really enjoy these videos and I`m happy people from different culture try to introduce Hungary for the world...I really appreciate it...but at least they are should learn how to say Budapest correctly
Thank you for this magnificent video. I fell in love with Budapest when I went for the first time last year. If all goes well, I will be there again this summer. Such a beautiful city😍😍😍😍😍😍

Max, we love your travel videos! I've sent links to several friends. We went to Munich, Vienna, and Budapest in the last couple weeks (Viking Danube cruise) and followed all your wonderful suggestions! Budapest was our favorite city (it glows at night), and of course we had Gelato Rosa. Twice! And the goulash tasting bowls at the Market Hall. And Langos! Thank you. We knew how to open the lockers at Szechenyi Baths thanks to your video ;-). Two stops you might want to add to your Budapest list would be the Columbo statue on Falk St, and the Holocaust shoes along the river, which take your breath away. Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much! Your comment really made my day! :D I'm so glad you found the videos helpful.
Very positive and informative, thanks a lot
Thank you so much! :)
Budapest was one of our favourite spots, outweighing some popular places in France & Italy! Would go back to Budapest in a heartbeat.
This is the best and most brilliant way summarized, truly professional video I have ever seen about Budapest through a foreign visitor's eye who learned Budapest in a few days. All the datas are exact. It has almost everything in it what worth a visit if someone has just a couple of days here. There are some spelling mistakes in the automatically generated English subtitle that makes me smiling, but the spoken text is flawless.
These are some words (e.g. the subtitle spelled "major" instead of "magyar"=hungarian) or some hungarian names as "Széchenyi" but it was pronounced well.
Thank you so much! 😊 I’ll check the transcription.
Very excited, booked a trip next April, fingers crossed the world is open by then
Us, too! April 2022!
Most of the sights shown in this video are closed for the reconstruction till 2023 - chain bridge, citadella, gellert statue, castle hill funicular, different churches. And a big reconstruction in front of the parliament on the embankment. Just came from Budapest this week.
@@user-pl9rf2ko5d thanks for the heads up, that’s rather sad, hopefully still be a great trip away
I enjoyed the tour immensely even though I live in budapest. Maybe next time you should include the Gellért bath and the nearby Cave church. Also I would mention the first metro on the continent, the Milleneum metro line. (It still operates to this day.) János hill with the lookout tower is worth visiting too with the chairlift taking you there operating all year round. And of course Margareth Island..... Come back and we'll give you a few more ideas. (Castle Hill labyrinth, cold fruit soup, etc) ;) Thx for your work. :)
Thank you so much! Those are some amazing tips, I think! :)
@@maxnomadtravel We're always happy to see people have a great time in Budapest. So thx again for your vid. And just to tease you to come back.... Terror museum, Shoes on the Danube promenade, Red Ruin pub ,Güll Baba türbéje.... the list is endless ;)
@@villamjoe87 Awesome! Thank you so much! At 30 things to do this is my longest city guid, yet but I see there is still so much more to discober. :D
Omg, I have been there 3 times and I didn't see some of spots you showed in this video. Thank you so much!
Got to see some places I didn't. If you go again I would recommend : House of terror, Hospital in the Rock and Margaret Island.

Super helpful!!! I took TONS of notes. Thanks very much. Hopefully my 3rd trip to Budapest will include some of your suggestions that I missed before.
e-scooters are actually much more expensive as the public transportation, which is quite good in Budapest. And most of the areas are red zone with the Lime, many of the districts banned it, so you cannot finish your trip anywhere.
Max you are really living your best life
We're currently planning our trip to Budapest and we literally can't wait after watching your video! We love your work, your videos are so informative and inspiring! Just subscribed 😉

Bonjour Max. Cordialement. Eric
