Oh yes, and there are some really nice food places on the top floor there 😍 not "fancy nice" of course but "simply yummy" :)

Will be there with our 5 month old baby as a family at the end of this month and cannot wait! It will be my second time in Budapest! Hope it won’t be rainy and cold so we can explore more!
Hey there! Hope you'll have a good time! End of October can be tricky, it certainly won't be too warm, but not too cold either and may be ideal for touring the city. Unfortunately rain can occur randomly any time during autumn, but I hope you'll have good weather when here 😊
oh the museum night aligns with my trip!!! i dont know what my itinerary looks like yet (im visiting some friends who are locals) but i’m so happy i saw this! i’ll definitely be keeping it in mind!!
Szia Akos, Your videos are pretty helpful even for international people who live in Budapest currently :)) Keep it up, and let us know more about this gorgeous city. Koszonjuk Szepen.
Love your videos. We are senior citizens and we will be visiting Budapest next year. We will be watching all the videos to make sure that we can get the most out of our time there. Thank you for all the great content!
Love your videos, they are always so helpful :) I just went to Budapest last month but I'm considering coming back for the New Year. Is it possible for you to make a video about that at one point? Because until now I haven't been able to find any useful videos about where to stay, where to eat and where to go on New Years Eve.
Thank you! Glad you find them useful! :) Regarding New Years eve, we'll probably won't be making a video about that any time soon. What I can tell you is that there are two kinds of people when it comes to new years: Those who either spend the eve with their friends/family, or those who go out to bars, clubs or roam the streets for fun. There will still be a lot of people in the city center :) Places like bars and restaurants don't become "better or special" for new years, so essentially, there isn't any particular place to recommend for the evening. If you wish to have a nice dinner at a restaurant, you should book a table in advance, and for some clubs and bars, there may be a queue to get in. Of course people are a bit more upbeat and energetic, so that is what really defines the new years, and not the places themselves :) Regarding where to stay, during the night, the night service buses operate, and of course it's a prime day for taxi drivers (just don't use freelancers, only use taxis via apps, like Bolt). Since it's a popular time to visit Budapest, prices for Hotels may be a bit higher, and availability may be less. I hope these notes help a bit :)
Thank you for your tips.Im soo excited to go there. Make more of budget hacks videos liketell us how to get to local markets and cheaper souvenir shops💕💕

Thank you so much for the detailed and nice message :) I hope when you visit with your friends you'll have a great time here and can enjoy many of the dishes you may have tried in that Hungarian restaurant near your home :) Nice to hear our cuisine can be available in places far away from our country too :)
Thank you very much for all your videos and tips. I will stay two weeks in this beautiful city and thanks to you my travel will be less expensive and more enjoyable with the few more beers I could buy :p cheers
Köszönöm for your videos! I will visit Budapest for the first time in three weeks, and many of your tips will be very helpful, among others to visit Klauzal market as an alternative to the central market, since my apartment I booked will be close to that location.
For the beautiful Budapest baths, my favourite was/is the Kiraly bath, sadly not open now. But a good tip is to look at the pricing for different parts of the day at some baths (they have very affordable tickets for morning sessions for example). And take your own towel.
loved watching this video! We are so pumped to see your beautiful city and will watch many of your videos for reference. Thank you for these awesome videos.
To feel the Budapest atmosphere even more, it's a good idea to take bus number 7 and visit the Market Hall at Bosnyak ter in the Zugló district. An unusual idea (for those who have a lot of time) may also be a walk through... the Kerepesi Cemetery, which is the Hungarian equivalent of Pere Lachaise in Paris. Thanks for another interesting episode. 👍 To save money on attractions or transport to grab an extra beer in the evening is the best advice one can get!
Thanks! Indeed the Fiumei Road Cemetery (Kerepesi Cemetery) is a unique place to visit, especially on the "Day to remember those who passed away" when many candles light up the place.
Bus 7 is a major line going through most of Budapest all the way from the outskirts in Pest and Down in Buda, through the center of the city stopping at Keleti railway station, Blaha Lujza square and Astoria. Sitting through the whole line is like getting a crash course in Budapest from the Panel Buildings from Socialist times, through the peaceful suburbs with houses and gardens, through the city center with older and more crumbling buildings but also the refurbished areas too.

Great help for my planning. I'm about to go in four days ahead. It will be a 6 days / 5 evenings stay, right in the center, for our family (5 persons). Thanks for your tips.
Hey there! Yes the public transport pass covers all the buses, trams and subways within the boundaries of Budapest 😊 we have a video about public transport if you may have some more questions on the topic 😊
HI there! While Hungarian cuisine itself is limited when it comes to Vegetarian dishes, almost all restaurants will have a few Vegetarian options on their menus. I've been to a place called Vegan Garden where they took some of the traditional Hungarian dishes and converted them ino a Vegan offering and they were nice (I tried their Bean soup and the Mushroom Paprikash, they were both really nice). However some of our viewers recommended the Happy Cow Application where you can find Vegetarian and Vegan options. It may help you with finding some good Vegetarian restaurants 😊 I can also recommend some of the Indian restaurants in the city. While they are not "local food" places, we have a nice selection of Indian restaurants with some excellent Vegetarian options on their menus 😊 (one of my fav places from these is Pesti Chutney for example)
Hello, it is very clear and helpful information. Could I use my phone to buy single ticket, block of 10 tickets, and even pass for two or more persons?
Hey there! It is not advised as per the BKK website to use 1 single phone for multiple people. Technically there is a way to do it but it's convoluted and risky it may not work 100% of the time. If you cannot use a separate phone per person, stick to the physical tickets/passes instead, they are also easy to get 😊
Hey there! Unfortunately I am not too familiar with hostels and hotels near Puskás Stadium, but I would say try to look for one on the northern side of Kerepesi road (running on the south side of the stadium) that area is more convenient, south of the road there is a large historic cemetery and lots of train tracks 😊 Budapest is generally safe, so you should be fine if you remain on the northern side of the road I mentioned 😊
The Budapest Card can be purchased at a few locations in the city like at Deák tér in the center there is a large booth with large signs, hard to miss, or at BKK customer service centers, like at Keleti or Kelenföld railway station (I don't see one at Nyugati railway station). If you are looking for the regular public transport pass, most stations have vending machines, or the Budapest Go app can be used for digital tickets 😊
@@StuffedCabbageAdventures amazing reply and explanation. Will be going to BUD in May would be good if we can meet and you do a review of BUD from the perspective of Malaysian tourist 🇲🇾🇲🇾🇲🇾
I came on girls trip to Budapest last month, we went to gillbert hill from one of your suggestions, and the view was better than the one from buda Castle. We also tried langos and loved it, also lovely Italian food at okay Italia near marmara hotel. thank you for awesome suggestions.
Happy to hear you had a good time here in Budapest! And I agree, The views from Gellért hill are indeed better because you can also see the castle too 😊
Huwaaaa...thank u so much for this video! You helped me to take a virtual trip to Hungary. Hopefully, I can make a great plan. ~I'm planning to go to Budapest this year.
I hope when you'll visit, you'll enjoy your time here! :) I believe we covered as much as we could about the Budapest travel card in this video, but we may try to explain it further next year :)
Very nice video! When I was researching for the baths a couple of weeks ago, I found a bath yearly pass subscription that was really cheap and gave you access in one the famous baths for really cheap. Unfortunately I cannot find this info anymore, do you know about it?
Hey there, I believe you found the Zsigmondy Clubcard. I believe this is mainly aimed at locals as I could not find any english page on the Budapest Thermal Spa associations website, only Hungarian. You need to have a local address in order to fill out a form, and getting the card is 5,000 HUF then once per day you can go to a thermal bath and be there for 4 hours for a total of 4,000 HUF per visit. If you search the hungarian version of budapestgyogyfurdoi.hu website for ZSIGMONDY KLUBKÁRTYA you can find the page and use google translates page translator to get the information you need. The form is a pdf also in Hungarian... I know it's a bit tedious :( I hope this is the one you were looking for and the info is helpful.
@@StuffedCabbageAdventures omg thank you for the quick response! I actually had a Hungarian friend help me out searching for it online and even her couldn't find it!
Hi Akos 👋 I'm so grateful for your videos. I will be visiting Budapest next year and I I'm not familiar with the city at all. I think I have bookmarked almost all of your videos! I was wondering if you also do private tours? Please let me know. Thank you so much!
Hey there! Glad to hear these videos can help with your planning :) Regarding guided tours, at this stage we don't do such activities, maybe in the future, but for now it's not something we can fit into our schedule 😊
Thanks you for really useful lifehacks! Liked and subscribed. Is it option (maybe for symbolic fee) to connect with you directly for ask some more questions about Budapest?
Hey there! Thanks for reaching out! We don't really do "consulting", but if you leave a comment here with questions or DM us on one of our socials or email us we can have a look and see how we can help with your questions :)
So with the Budapest Card like would I get free transportation for that day or just attractions? If I were to do the 24 hour pass of public transportation I’d have access to all means of transportation? Additionally, if I’m doing the metro do I validate my ticket once? And if I then do the tram or the bus do I have to validate it each time?
Hey there! The Budapest Card is a special offer aimed at tourists as it is a combination of a travel pass, discounts or free ente to attractions. So yes you can use it as a travel pass and use Public transport within the boundaries of Budapest. Ticket validation is important for Single tickets : each bus and tram ride needs its separate ticket, but 1 single ticket is valid for the entire subway network so you can change lines on Subway only with 1 ticket. But for passes and travel cards they are valid from the time you set at purchase (by default it's the time of purchase), no need to validate them via the validating machines from that point.
Hey there! Yes, within the boundaries of Budapest the passes are valid, so you can take the train till Szemeretelep, just need to show your QR code same way as you would for a regular inspector in the city (or the paper based 15 day pass :))
With Budapest becoming more and more popular as a destination for people with colorful cultural backgrounds, many restaurants and convenience stores are popping up to cater for the special needs. Luckily if you search on google maps for Halal Restaurant, you'll surely find something that's easily accessible :)
Hey I'm enjoying a lot your videos, can you clarify something. Dao you thing that's its essential do have money to be able to enjoy? You do you think if we have one online card its enough
Hey there! You can certainly enjoy your stay and have a good time without cash. Small markets, farmers markets or weekend markets and the Buda Castle Labyrinth may require cash but if you won't visit any of these , you can easily just go along with a card. The only other time cash may be needed is in public restrooms on the street, but you can just go to a cafe, buy an espresso, pay with card and use the toilet there if needed. I personally rarely use cash 😊 hope this helps.

@@StuffedCabbageAdventures amazing reply and explanation. Will be going to BUD in May would be good if we can meet and you do a review of BUD from the perspective of Malaysian tourist 🇲🇾🇲🇾🇲🇾
thank you for the tips and advice! LOVE all of them!!!
Awesome video...very useful! Many thanks!
Helpful Vdo,
Beautiful photography.
Plz tell the name of the device, if it is a mobile phone 🌹🌹
Thanks! :) We use a mix of devices, primarily a Sony Alpha 7C, a GoPro and occasionally our phones 😊
Want to visit your gorgeous city soon, plz make a detailed vlog on Budapest Card
@@StuffedCabbageAdventures actually it says that it closed on May 20th? Does that mean they won't open for new applications anymore?
Hi Akos 👋 I'm so grateful for your videos. I will be visiting Budapest next year and I I'm not familiar with the city at all. I think I have bookmarked almost all of your videos! I was wondering if you also do private tours? Please let me know. Thank you so much!
Hey there! Glad to hear these videos can help with your planning :) Regarding guided tours, at this stage we don't do such activities, maybe in the future, but for now it's not something we can fit into our schedule 😊
@@StuffedCabbageAdventures ok, thank you for the information! I'll keep watching your videos to plan my trip!
Is it a good idea to visit Budapest in March after the 20th ?? Pls can anyone advise
Great video!! Thank you for your work!

Hello! Quick question, is the 15 day Budapest pass also usable on trains that go from the city center to Szemeretelep?
Hey there! Yes, within the boundaries of Budapest the passes are valid, so you can take the train till Szemeretelep, just need to show your QR code same way as you would for a regular inspector in the city (or the paper based 15 day pass :))
I plan to live in Hungary. It would be really exciting if you made a video about halal food in Hungary.
With Budapest becoming more and more popular as a destination for people with colorful cultural backgrounds, many restaurants and convenience stores are popping up to cater for the special needs. Luckily if you search on google maps for Halal Restaurant, you'll surely find something that's easily accessible :)
Wow, that sounds great. Thank you for getting back to me. I can't wait to live there ☺️
Hey I'm enjoying a lot your videos, can you clarify something.
@@StuffedCabbageAdventures Thank you much, and thank you for convince me to go to Budapest because of your videos. :)
