My grandparents were from Leia (spelling?) and their cookie jar was always filled with wafer cookies and Keebler cookies that had chocolate bottoms with drizzles of chocolate on top. Hey there! When it comes to chocolate, the higher quality brands are Stühmer and Szamos, and there is Szerencsi also which is the simplest from the 3. However, few of my favorites which are more commerce are Balaton Szelet, Sport Szelet and Kapuciner. Hey there! There's a chain of wine stores called Bortársaság (meaning The Wine Company). They have good quality Hungarian wines including Tokaji and have stores all over Budapest. They can help with selecting some good bottles, just note that really good Tokaji Aszú Wine will be on the expensive side. Regarding the Parliament, the easiest is right on the other side of the Danube River at Batthyány tér. You can go close to the river and have an excellent unobstructed view both day and night. Most of the Beers are available in canned forms these days but you can still find some bottled ones of the major commercial brands like Dreher, Soproni, or Arany Ászok, though I would only stick to Dreher and Soproni. • @StuffedCabbageAdventures
      @StuffedCabbageAdventures  6 месяцев назад

      I believe that cheap or expensive will depend on your countries' point of view. Western Europeans will find it cheaper (not by a lot, some things are priced the same or higher), Eastern Europeans will find it expensive. For us Hungarians, the inflation in past few years made living here on the expensive side.

    • @StuffedCabbageAdventures
      @StuffedCabbageAdventures  Год назад

      Hey there! We have a video about how expensive Budapest is, and while the prices public transport are changing, other items we cover remain around the same. Regarding food it's hard to say simply because a simple breakfast like a sausage mustard and bread can be much cheaper vs some of the popular Brunch places, and same applies for lunch and dinner, it depends on the type of restaurant you visit. But generally a main dish will cost somewhere between 4000-6000 HUF but can go waaay beyond that in some places.

    • @Lyric1249
      @Lyric1249 2 месяца назад

      He doesn't come off at all that way and his statement has nothing to do with the Chinese people. The fact is that buying a product in the country of origin will almost always be a better product (although more expensive) than something mass-produced in another country because of the cheaper labor. It is just facts, and facts are not emotional. Just like here in the US, although not all are cheaply made, there are a lot of products, not only from China but other countries where the quality may not be as good. Of course here in America, most things seem to come from China. In short, take a moment to consider what he is saying about the product before making such a harsh accusation.
