That is awesome!
Aloha. So much more engaging!
I like how your wife is right by your side during the whole job of harvesting cleaning cooking and enjoying the rewards of your labor.

Our pleasure!
I didn’t realize how long it was until I read your comment. Thanks for the extended content @tugtrashoutdoors.

Thanks 👍
Don't get no better than this.
I agree. I'm from Maryland also and love my blue crabs and jo. I keep jo on my dining room table and take a pinch when I'm craving crabs
@FVMiss Paula…Cj being him up here you take him out to catch those crappie westerns shore “ Baltimore” crabs and I’ll bring him down here to catch some these good eastern shore crabs 😂💪🏽🔥

Enjoy your videos. I spent 40 years as an engineer on harbor tugs and now retired north central Arkansas. I did most of the things you doing also but little old now and scaled back a lot.
Cool man
I am an old country boy, who retired from the US Army. My first time, I was invited on, my friends, Boston Whaler. He was also retired military, working and living on Ft. Meade, Maryland. That was my one and only trip on the boat "crabbing". We had a ball. This was an awesome video. I will be looking out for your videos on and off the Tug. Be safe and Stay focused out there on the water. Keep the videos coming.
Thanks!
Ian, that looks like quite the workout you had crabs running around everywhere😂😂😂
🤣
Thank you for allowing me to tag along. The warm weather video allows me to warm up a bit on this chilly February day in Michigan.
Any time!
Same...I'm in Chicago
I am from Maryland and a long line of crab eaters. I grew up near a crab house and we knew the owners real well. He said they use a lot of JO because the more they use the more beer the people would drink at the restaurant.
🤣
16:20 that's because oldbay has an after taste. Actually if you we're to try a bunch of different seasonings you'd probably find that you like a lot of different one's instead of old bay.
Great way to waste my afternoon with a couple of beers! Ok, six beers...
Aloha. At least you’re honest.
Dreaming of warmer weather
Me TOO!!

@@TugTrashOutdoorsAMEN!
Good morning Tug, girls. You had me laughing hard with first video with the crabs getting out in the kitchen and pot. 😂. I remember couple of the others video's. You always bring great video's. Have a great week family. See you next time.
Thanks so much
Never had Blues, here in the PNW Dungeness (FAV.) crabs! Sweeter then King !
Awesome
Dungeness are absolutely amazingly delicious. Definitely sweeter than blue, but blue are cheaper to buy and very delicious. Coming from a Maritimer!
Ian, that would be a colander brother😂😂😂 Awesome video👍👍👍
Sure is 🤣
Will definitely the most comical Crab boil I've seen yet
🤣
Close but that’s not exactly Maryland style. Some use vinegar but old school Maryland style is to use half water half beer or all beer. And that’s way too much JOs we fill up a pot about 5 times your size and put a full Bushel in the pot. Then we put JOs on top and it will melt all the way down to the bottom. About a half cup of JOs per half bushel which is 3.5 dozen crabs. So a full cup of JOs per bushel. No need to layer the seasoning.
Imma have to come back to this one tomorrow :)
Please do
I watched it all my dude! fighting the algorithm, one tug video at a time!
Thanks bud
I like to put the mustard on a salting, then put the meat on top of that. Delish....great video
Ok I’ll try it!
Aloha Ian. The mustard is good with rice. I’m hoping at some point in your life, you can visit the west coast and try dungeness. Or,even better, Alaska. Crab, spot prawns, halibut, salmon, steelhead, trout, rockfish, etc.
I’ve had Dungeness they were good
Part 3 for me, is seeing the gentle male crab hunting for his female mate, so she will have sponge in order to repopulate the crab kingdom, sponge meaning eggs for the Blue crab and many other crabs in the kingdom of other crabs.
Yes sir
exactly what i needed to get me through Monday morning at work. Thx Tug Family
Monday’s at work are for RUclips 🤣
Is there a difference in jo crab seasoning and other crab boil seasoning, zatarains, etc. or are they interchangable.
Yes and no
Being from Charleston SC area and doing a lot of shrimping and crabbing by far shrimp on my plate! Crabs are just to mush trouble for wha you get. I remember when I was young my Mom really enjoyed tying chicken necks on the end of string and during low tide at the beach going to the end of the breaks catching crabs and cooking at end of the day and cooking. My Mom use to make killer crab cakes so I did enjoy those cause Mom would clean pick mix and put the mixture back into crab shells and bake. Now dats were some good stuff. Now living in Louisiana and not far from coast and crabbing areas but to tell you the truth I'd rather shrimp or crawfish any day of the week. Enjoy your channel and you're very fortunate to have a wife that enjoys doing this with you!!
Yes I am! Thanks
I have seen all of these videos but I love crabbing so mush I could watch it over and over again thanks again sorry to here about the hunting camp saying a prayer for you
Thank you
Cool video, I liked the go pro shot of the live well full of blue crabs. Thanks for posting. 52 Crabs is my guess.
I love your cooking.I’m in Michigan so I have plenty of opportunities to fish but I would love to crab pot like you can do in Florida. I use a trap filled with dog food and catch crayfish and minnows for bait. Great video 👊
Thanks!
Great video!! It even made my wife want crabs so bad that she went and cooked crab legs while we watched your video and then we have made plans to go crabbing this coming weekend with hand lines and chicken!! Keep up the awesome content!!
That is awesome!
I truly love your videos and the family togetherness you truly are just a good man in my book
I appreciate that
Awesome video my wife and I sat and watched the whole video
Thank you guys so much
We thank you for the videos brother. Some may not know what to do or how to do it, so your videos are definitely helping them. Love this channel bro and I'm always waiting on the newest one. May God keep you and your family covered..
I appreciate that
Watching and enjoying your more down to earth videos. I’m up here in Ohio wishing I was down there! Keep up the great work!
Dreaming of summer!
Keep them coming Tug! Once you get a goos library established, you will start making some good money!!!
That's the plan!
Always great to see content from You, Krystal, & Bianca. I love this compilation of different videos put together. I actually used your recipe for the smoked gouda crab dip last summer, I used a little less JO's and I got 10 out of 10 on from my Grandchildren, Son, Daughter-in-law, & DIL's mom & other 5 kids (her mom doesn't like Crab). I love the idea of catching crab with chicken on a string. Be careful though because the Jumbos wiil chase you lol!
Thank you so much!!
JO's #2 has the clumpy salt that sticks to the crab for steaming, so if you say it is too salty try #1 next time...
Just finishing my smoked mullet one more to go god there good.used tugs recipe time consuming but worth it l think. Thanks really enjoy the vids.
Hope you enjoy
I love you, crabbing and fishing videos and cooking
Yes, thank you
Tub trash outdoors is good entertainment 👍
🙌🏽
So funny. When this sailor from Michigan caught blues in Virginia, I didn't know to ice them. I fought them just like you everytime. We would catch them and cook'm right away 🤣
🤣
We loved watching the crab wrestling to the cooking pot!
Haha
Great job tug as usual I enjoy these kids so much.
Glad you enjoyed
Coooool video thanks for sharing MD style yesssir! 💯
No problem 👍
Great video. 2 things 1 you need a bigger pot and 2 you need a bigger pot. By the way, you need a cold beer to go with those crabs. Love your channel.
Good call! Thanks
Taking both claws on stone crabs is mean. Love watching your videos. You’re a cool couple 👍
Thank you for the crab CC&C video it was epic and very enjoyable 💯🙌🏻💪🏻✌🏻😇🙏👍🏻
Glad you enjoyed it
Great vid... Try frying the cleaned crab in margarine (w/ salt n pepper) until fully cooked. I've had people tell me they've eaten crab all their lives and never had it so good! Thx
Will do!
What a mix of personalities.
Love me a long Tug Trash video.
🙌🏽

Great video Tug & Crystal! Love all the crabbing videos. I would rewatch, like and comment on every one of them separately too. I’d say that you caught more than 250 crabs in all these videos. You made me drool more than a couple times.
Thanks for sharing!!!
Thanks so much
THAS BEEN A COOL TO WATCH IVE INJOY THIS I WATCHED ALL I LIVE IN Tennessee WE CAN'T DO THIS HEAR HAHAHA
🙌🏽
This whole video made me home sick I grew up on the eastern shore of MD I’ve since moved to the Midwest didn’t know how Much I missed blue crab until now great video
Yall do love your crabs!
242 blue crabs for the haul! Chicken legs are the best bait too.
Go for it Tug.
The mustard is just the yellow liquid stuff around the intestines and in the corner of the shell. It looks like you ate the stringy intestines.
Great decision of letting the crab go!!!! Very responsible.
I'm from the PNW.... Sesttle area specifically..... We steam or boil, depending on where we go and what there is to cook with 😆 My parents used to gonclam digging in the mid 60s. I love whole cold cracked crab with lots of lemon and melted butter to dip the meat in. I dont care for Old Bay or anything like that on my crab or lobster....ick ..
Your videos are very special. God Bless!!!!!
Thank you so much!
You wanna catch a lot of crabs use bull tongue, or bull lip use that as your bait and you’ll do extremely well you could even use eels eels up in your bait. Good luck.🦀🦀🦀 from the Chesapeake Bay🇺🇸
Thanks!
love watching you guys, we live in Delaware and crab on the eastern shore of Maryland I like to clean my crabs first then cook them in JO's.
Yum
I just love watching y'all. Y'all had me laughing so hard. Can't wait for next video.
Thank you!
Holy moly, so much content. SO much great food, outstanding people and just all around good times!!!!! Took me a couple of days but awesome content TUG!!! Loved it :)
Glad you enjoyed it!
Something I have not done since I was stationed in Key West in the Navy!!! I much prefer the "Florida" way of cleaning and cooking Crabs. I was stationed at Pax River NAS also and got "pinched" more than once helping out putting Crabs in the pot. I still prefer Oysters over the Crab, maybe clean, cooked Crab and Oysters in a Chowder....darn, making myself hungry.
That would be great….maybe a gumbo
This was a long video but I really loved it. God bless you and your family.
Thank you so much!
Awesome love being able to watch so many videos at once. When do you think is your most productive or best time to crab?
All summer
Dang those crabs looked good. We love heavily seasoned bluecrab. Looks like y’all had a great time making this video. Nice work y’all!
🙌🏽🙌🏽

My man!
Watch them all and loved them again.
Thanks!

As a retired disbled veteran, I want so badly for you to take me on a collection/consumption trip.
WOW what a great video an I really want to try all ,
Go for it!
I love all your crabs videos and the fish All the videos are awesome 💯
I appreciate that
keep going tug you’re an awesome guy and you’ll get there
Thanks
you should see the blue crabs in australia look like, same carapace, but their legs and claws are 3 times longer and more vicious. im in the south but i really do prefer steamed crabs, i use apple cider vinegar and coors light, it does somthing to the shell, makes it crack like a potato chip making it super easy to break apart, i make a seasoned butter mixture on the side to dip in
I’ve seen the videos
Yo Tug Thats Exactly how I clean my Dungeness here In NorCal Nice Work
We made spaghetti sauce with crabs always growing up. It was so tasty.
Yum!
It's taken me a few days to watch it all but another great one! and I just saw your Tugboat video is over 360K views dude, that's awesome! I love to see it, now you just gotta hit that 50k Subs. I'm excited to see how far your channel has come.
Thanks Buddy
Crabs,Crabs,Crabs Awesome!!!
Yep!
We usually eat it with rice. Sauce is vinegar with hot chili. Yummy!
Sounds great!
A good excuse to go fishing with that found fishing rod!
You got that right!
Tuggernuts comin with the HEAT! Love to see it! Subscribe to this man people!!!
👊🏽
Very nice this wear done to perfection.😅😂 good job 👍👏
Thank you!
"Must admit you have the Midas touch in video making!"
Thanks!
I lost it the crab fight 😂😂
🤣
Was fun watching and that dip looks fantastic 👌
Love watchin videos of my neck of the river in East Palatka. 👍
Love it out there
Being a retired ch. engineer on tugs should qualify me as tug trash also so don’t feel all alone. Was drawn to the channel by the name. Did you do a trip to Gitmo recently. I don’t pay attention obviously. Spent some time near Chesapeake but never acquired a taste for soft shell crabs. If I want crunch, I eat an apple.
You were like the Swedish Chef from the muppets putting those crabs in the pot 😂😂😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣 I did love the muppets
Hey what’s up bro, just a tip for cooking crabs, try steaming but put them upside down so all that mustard can collect in the shell, let me know if you try it.
I’ll try that
I mix old bae in a bowl with white vinegar. Make like a dip kida. Looks good.
I’ve heard that! Might give it a try
