Really enjoyed watching you teach the kids. Liam will definitely have a new hobby after all that fun.
Watching the kids have genuine fun made the video even better. Awesome thanks guys!
im super stoked you took the kids out and had the calm patience to teach them! They will treasure these memories, please take them again!
Oh they go whenever they want!
It is really great to see the kids on your boat having an awesome experience learning how to catch those wonderful stone crabs.
What an wholesome video. Way to go teaching that young man and your daughter where there food comes from and to respect all things. Your videos are great learning for even old men from Missouri
Thanks so much
Happy Days for young Liam who has the privilege of knowing how lucky he is having a neighbour who has trusted him to be an enthusiastic fisherman on your private boat. Go Liam😊
Hi tug another super video !
When you were loading the pots on the boat it looked like a scaled down version of the deadliest catch !
There is not a better feeling than loading up the boat and heading to the ramp !
Have a great day!
Thanks!!
Hit it with your purse, Crystal! 😂 love seeing the excited about being outdoors.
Always!
Loved it! It’s rare to young kids outside playing!
We agree!
I love to see parents....teaching their kids about the gifts of the sea!!! This is how the tourch is passed!!! Great job!!!
Yes! Thank you!
Teaching kids about the great outdoors, gotta love it. Great job Ian.
getting the kiddos involved. better than video games.
Right?
Great job Ian and Krystal! I was raised fishing and diving in the key's and do not regret it one second!
Me too! Growing up florida
Hard not to laugh at the table manners by Mullet 😂
Another cool video dude cheers 👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Great the kids got to participate and learn! When I was kid I got to crab for blues in Mobile bay. Used star traps from the pier in Fairhope. No stones- sigh! This was in the early & mid 1950s.
Cool video! You didn't think this through!!!! Now Liam knows your spots!!! 😝
😆 it’s ok I’ll share with him
Great video Ian! It was so great to see Bianca & Liam learning how to haul & harvest the crab. Great job Mr. Teacher! Really nice that you guys made sure that Liam was available when you ate them. Beautiful feed, yummy! I do wonder why Floridians don’t use nut crackers to open the crab. The spoon smashes and makes shards, somewhat dangerous.
Thanks for sharing!!!
You can't open with nut crackers like blue crab
The kids looked like they realy enjoyed catching crabs .
Love this post. Great job Liam & Bianca.
Thanks so much!
Great video Ian! Kiddos looked like they had a great time. Memorable moments they won't forget. Mullet likes crab Dad...
Thanks buddy
glad you’re back
We got off our schedule but are looking to keep one video a week
Loved watching the kids so much!
You are so kind
Tug & Kristel, for there are a lot great comments here and I for 1 am with them. For there are things here to learn and it is cool to watch you both do your thing.
Thank you buddy
Sorry that you face the lack of courteous anglers who dropp their traps so close to your. 😢
Love seeing Bianca & her friend Liam go on this adventure with & look forward to more content like this. Always good to see you & Krystal too! Stay Blessed!
As always thank you so much
Great job, big daddy and crew!
Yes! Thank you!
Liam was stoked 😆 🦀 🦀
I think he had a good time. He is a great kid and great friend to Bianca
Awesome work man!!! Great couple of kiddos you got with ya too, I love the excitement they have!
Thanks bud
Those are my favorite crab claw, miss those a lot from my years down on the coast!! Awesome stuff
Man they are good! Only way I can eat them is to catch them because I sure can’t afford them.
I donated a stone crab to the aquarium in Pine Knoll Shores , NC back in the 1990's , the crabs claws holding them opened measured 29 & 1/2 inches from tip to tip and it weighed 4 & 3/4 pounds
Wow! That’s cool
Reminds me of being a kid and going hanging out with my neighborhood best friend going fishing with her parents and mine (30 years later we are still friends)
That’s so awesome! I grew up with a great group of kids and we did some much cool stuff. We stay in touch a bit but I haven’t seen most of them in 20 years unfortunately. Some great memories
Really was great to see you bring the kids on the crab like we need to take more kids out and show them how it’s done in the real world not just on line
Yes sir
Great video with the kids ! ❤good teaching them the basics of crabbing 🦀🦀👍

Love the video. I’m just an advocate of taking one claw no matter what. Gives the grab a better chance

Your videos are just getting better and better. Sucks that you have to ask people to not intrude on your space... Big ole POS that do that. Anyway loved the video... As always looking forward to the next😊

My man! 🙌🏽
should do a video doing the chicken on a string and see which catches more traps or string here in texas i go out on a super low tide during the night and literally just net up blue grabs right off the grass bed lines at the bay shorelines
Check out his other videos he does just that with chicken! They wrecked them!
Good times ..PEACE !!!
Great video 🤙🤙🤙🤙
Thanks for the visit
Great job!
Thanks!
Northern puffer good eating
Nice!
looks like fun and delicious
The handle of a butter knife works well too
That’s what I used to use and @reedthefishmonger turned me onto spoons. Both work great
Ian, actually more pots in an area is better than just one, it brings more crabs in as there is a heavier scent in the water. This was true for both Dungeness in the PNW and blue crabs in the Southeast. Same with stone crabs. More bait. more crabs.
No
Good job dad
Yum yum 😋
🙌🏽
Man that makes me hungry for Seafood. I am land locked and we barely have any lakes in 100 mile range and they are more like ponds. Its about time to retire and move to the coast.
I would love to try stone crab but we don't have them in WY
Maybe someday! 😆
That mess looks so good I could almost taste it. I'm wondering why there were no blue crabs in your traps. Cheers from Jacksonville Florida 🌞
Funny sometimes they are loaded and sometimes nothing
The area I put them and water temp
I'm wondering if clipping the claws and throwing them back in at one particular place helps your harvest next year?
Absolutely!
Hit it like your 4th grade teacher cracked you with a ruler. I'm that old school.
🤣
Do a colab with cooking with clams
I did check out my 5 gallon challenge video
Good video. How do you manage to catch only stone crabs and no blue crabs?
Time of year and location of traps
Wow!!!!
🙌🏽
Nice
🙌🏽
Why don't you do the knife in the joint method like Stanzfam does? It seems less likely to do damage or am I dumb lol
It works but it tends to get grit in the meat
@@Wishard_Wire_Co very Interesting thanks for the response Mr.Wire crab trap guy lol If I ever make my way down I will be sure to stop by the shop for some traps. Your attention to detail makes all the difference and I appreciate that man 😁
Stone Crabs filter feed when they lose their claws. They then regrow their claws.
True
Enjoy the vid. Have a question. Shouldn't the crab have one claw to defend itself?
We repeatedly catch them later on with knub and growing new ones
Got quite a few stoners. Cool.
We did good
