I took my wife on our Honeymoon to Key West. We had an air BNB se we could cook for ourselves. We went on a charter and we got to eat Mangrove Snapper and it was amazing. Wish I tried them whole now as I love whole fish. Only fish that topped it for me was on the same trip, we caught and ate Cobia the same day and it was just over the top.

Whole snapper on the grille. The only way to eat them. Make your 3 cuts, hit it with seasoning, and Duke's Mayonnaise. It won't stick and will have crispy skin

I love me some Mangroves! Growing up in Marathon where are Dad parked us kids, that is just about all I ate...loved it too! (This was in the 1960's he flew for Pan Am) My Brothers and I were fine! Every day we did this.

Great video, Ian! Love whole fried Mangos!! Been hoping for many years that the FWC would wake up and realize the Goliaths are eating everything on the reefs and now moving to the flats and backcountry. Unreal that they won't allow a season for them.
FWC make regulations based on feelings and opinions rather than honest data

Had a house in the keys this week got lucky and the owner let us switch to a week in September been going to the keys my hole life used to go with parents now I take my family if you get 3 flat days to get off shore in a week we are happy
