As soon as she said "Happy Progress Day" and did the fireworks, i paused my video and was like, "I dont care if shes a villain. I dont care if she kills everybody in this show. I am on her side from this moment forward. She is a vibe and i love her." Lol
"That's meeee!" That's gotta be my favorite line from the whole show. She's just so completely unhinged and proud of herself in that moment in the face of Silco's overwhelming frustration.
The girl the Jinx shot wasn't Vi, she was just someone with pink hair that resembled Vi and that was why Jinx got triggered. When marcus chloroformed her on episode 3 he took her to jail, Vi has been there since...
In defense of Caitlyn's parents.... their daughter nearly got killed in the line of duty, in an incident where half a dozen of her colleagues did actually die. Meanwhile, they have the capacity to pull strings. Of course they are going to use that to make sure their daughter is kept safe.
It's crazy seeing someone watch the show that didn't know Jinx before knowing Powder. To us that's the only Jinx we knew for years before they presented us Powder, to us it's normal to see her being absolutely crazy but to you it's obviously shocking. They did such a good job with her!
14:09 Get Jinxed (ft. Djerv) | Official Music Video - League of Legends (official 2013 video , 133m views =) ) . Watch it after season 1 with "Enemy-imagine dragons" , "The opening ceremony of the 2021 World Cup with the support of Mastercard" and Vi league of legends login screen (music) ( there is also a login screen with jinx and compare the background of these videos).
She got confused by pink hair girl on the ship, didn't notice Jinx then explains she got confused as well to Silco. To be fair it's well done, itnentionnally confusing, if you don't pay close attention to Jinx and Silco discussion at the Last Drop, it's easy to think it was Vi on the ship.
@@Pimfwouyou It is confusing. But then Jinx has not one but two separate scenes where she clearly states it wasn't her. It just goes to show that Arcane's density of details is not something most reactors can deal with while reacting.
@@Pizvopretty much this though, I think that's really good way to look at it. I mean I absolutely love arcane. I think it's probably the greatest piece of media ever produced. But I cannot imagine watching this and also trying to film a reaction video because it's so heavy on the emotions and the stuff that happens in the show that trying to give a proper reaction for the camera while you watch this and process everything sounds like a big task. Because that's just how damned well the show is written. I mean I've watched through the first season almost three times at this point and there are certain scenes that I cry at EVERY single time because it's just THAT good, so I imagine it would be really difficult to really process things while you're trying to give a good reaction for the camera, and honestly I commend this chick for doing this well.
Lol, your reaction throughout this entire video to powder is hilariously fun to watch. The amount of times and ways you said Powder was the icing on the cake and the endless mouth drops were the candles. Way cool!
She showed some behaviors since the beginning, some sort of trauma responses. She saw her parents murder at a really young age, didn't bond well with anyone except Vi. Adding up with her causing the death of all she's "family" would be far more to her trauma that what she can handle. She has a possible personality disorder.
Even more so than that my dude, even to add to what you're saying. Remember in the chase scene when they have the loot and she gets cornered by that guy? And She loads her monkey bomb with a bunch of nails and pieces of metal? If That went off it would have ripped the guy to bits...and she was completely fine with killing a dude (at about 12 years old I think) in a super gruesome way when she was that young. That is actually INSANE. Also, the fact that she doesn't ever react to something horrific that happens unless she first sees that her sister Vi is upset is VERY telling, it's like she only knows that it's appropriate to cry if she's copying the emotions of the other person. Until ofc Vi "leaves" her. But most of that Sounds like psychopath behavior to me....
@@jordanfelt5978 Also in the very beginning when they saw their mom's corpse powder didn't cry like Vi did, she just looked up at Vi and comforted her. This could be that she was too young to really process it but it fits very well with your theory
@@ch1ken thank you, it's funny because I was actually thinking about that too. I rewatched the first five episodes yesterday and I noticed EXACTLY that, and that's actually what initially kicked off this theory, and what kind of cemented it for me was the scene where she gets cornered. Great minds think alike, my dude! 😊
they don't want Jinx to be easily pigeonholed. They went as far as to rig the animation model for Jinx so they could morph her appearance to a more Powder like face
small friendly reminder that jinx, vi, caitlyn, jayce, and viktor (and a few more) are all characters in the video game, so we have known how they end up for years, we just don't know how they got there...
Deep inside Jinx wants nothing more but be the innocent and naive powder that vi and everyone else loved, but being powder, the guilt of knowing that you killed your friends and family will destroy her life completely knowing that she was just a failure in the group who just wanted to prove that she is not useless just once and that led to her family dying. So she chose to be jinx (which vi called her) and decided to live like a psychopath just to get rid of the voices inside her head (of mylo and claggor)
So, let's recap.... the plot of the first few episodes started after Powder / Jinx stole one of Jayce's magic blue rocks, blew up a building, and nearly killed Caitlyn in the process. Fast forward after the time jump at the plot begins after Powder / Jinx steals one of Jayce's magic blue rocks, blows up a building, and nearly kills Caitlyn in the process. My.... how history repeats itself. 😁😁
Jynx's psychosis is portrayed very effectively, and it gives me Harley Quinn vibes as well, but DC was just never able to quite make it this effective with Harley Quinn, despite how many times they tried. I'd say in general movies and TV rarely portray the "voices in my head" sort of psychosis in an effective manner, often times coming across as a bit campy or cheesy. But this does it right, Jinx is the model all others should emulate to sell this type of character to the audience.
Just a little hint, why do you believe a girl who as a few features and reminds Jinx of Vi, would actually be Vi? I mean Jinx killed that girl. Vi got abducted at the end of episode 3, take a look at it again. :3
jinx is the the best character in the whole show , but i hate caitlyn and well i like vi but she did all the worst choice since episode 1 so yeah i like her butnot too much
redgirl on the airship who jinx shot wasnt Vi, it was random girl with pink hair

Love it for the story for sure!
You seeing Jinx: “I think I need an adult”
Vi: I AM AN ADULT
😂
Time skip Powder hitting us with that "Hi" and then going all out hits differently.

Oh for sure but that doesn’t mean that Caitlyn will not feel suffocated or held back from her potential.

The girl on the ship in the beginning was a pink haired girl that looked similar to Vi. That's why it gave Jinx the little psychosis episode.
Gotcha!
