#HomeAlone2 #LostInNewYork #Reaction
The first Home Alone and the sequel Lost in New York are still my all time favourite Christmas movies.
Mine too.😊
Home Alone 1&2 are also my favorite movies, RIP John Hughes
It's amazing how perspective changes a film. When Home Alone 2 first came out, people hated it for being basically the same movie again. Then the other Home Alones came out, so now the Kevin McAllister movies are both seen as worthy and superior.
@@WisteriaDrake Who care, people should know that Home Alone 2 made $359 in the box office and it's the third highest grossing film behind the Bodyguard and Aladdin
+Kevin Haynes
Mine too!!
34:45 I’m just happy y’all laughed so hard at “Skeleton Marv” because that scene never gets old 🤣🤣🤣
That and the toilet exploding! 😂
I love that scene lol Kevin is a psychopath lol
Bro, I’m literally only here for this scene
@@theyetti90 Same, the skeleton and the high pitched scream kills me every time 🤣
The whole Marv turning into a skeleton had me weezing
The dad is a lawyer. The mom is a fashion designer (which is why the house has so many mannequins that Kevin used during one of his tricks in the first film).
I still have no clue why so many people don't like this movie. I think it is almost as good as the first one and always puts a smile on my face.
The only strong reason that I can think of is because the McAllister parents have to end up learning the exact same lesson as they did last year. The entire family is still incredibly quick to blame Kevin for situations that other people had a part in.
I've never really heard anyone say that before. Generally most audiences enjoyed this movie
It's like the Hangover sequels in that you can only do the premise so many times. I don't mind it here due to nostalgia bias - watched the first two many times as a kid.
well the critics didn't like it because it literally just redid the plot of the original except in New York. Which I kind of get I mean essentially no one learned anything from the first movie. And overall yeah its not as good as the first movie overall. But compared to the later sequels its a masterpiece lol
i was kinda on the fence until the Trap House, that entire sequence is fantastic
I have never seen the Normies crew laugh this hard so consistently haha 😂
The first and second movie are just amazing classics two phenomenally hilarious movies
fr its not even that funny lmao
@@iGaveLiaHIV Yes it is.
@@iGaveLiaHIV what a lame ass. These are hilarious
@@iGaveLiaHIV But it IS funny though.
Pat constantly falling asleep despite a sea of laughter right in his ears, lol.
Is it even Christmas if someone isn't falling asleep sitting up on the couch? 😄
LMFAO FRRRR 😭
@@StopReadingMyNameOrElse That makes so much sense now
Funnily enough that gizmo Kevin has to record and playback audio was MADE FOR THIS MOVIE ^^ The director specifically requested it being made as he wanted to use such a device for the plot. Due to it being so popular it became an actual toy for children to buy
How did those children obtain currency
I had one!
@@Fordo007 Same. Saw one recently on EBay still in the box and it went for over 400 bucks.
The electrocution scene always gets me😂😂 literally laughing and crying at the same time
Me too.
💀 "OOOOHHH OOOOOOOOHHH!!!"
@@ShadowDemon_4 😂😂
Me three
that scene scared the shit out fo me when I was 8
I've seen this movie like 100 times, but, I doubt I've laughed this hard. Y'all make me feel like i'm watching it with family.
I love that the brilliant jigsaw level mastermind that is kevin starts with lemme throw some bricks
He's not a "brilliant jigsaw LEVEL mastermind", this kid grows up to BECOME Jigsaw
@@endless013 true. This was him before the philosophical break. Back when it was just a survival mechanism.
@@endless013 No, kid is the true mastermind behind jigsaw game, he's the the one that plan and teach jigsaw all the tricks, jigsaw did the trap.....
@@zamhobby9662 or maybe it's a team effort, Kevin builds the "trap houses" while "jigsaw" picks the people and does the theatrics
"I'm the best crowd navigator here!"
Literally everyone: NAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
But gotta say, it IS still possible to get on the wrong airplane. Happened to me just two years ago in LAX where the gates and the gate LINES were next to each other. They checked my ticket, rushed me in, had me to go to my seat, then realized 20 min later I was on the wrong plane and my flight had already shut its doors.
Fun Fact: Chris Columbus directed Home Alone 1&2 & Harry Potter 1&2.
The two HP movies that felt the most magical imo
Chris Columbus is probably one of the top 3 directors for directing with very young actors. Spielberg also comes to mind
No wonder I lost interest in Harry Potter after the second movie
He don't do trilogies.😂
He's the reason why Valve don't make third games.😂
31:22-32:29 The best scene of the whole movie; and their reaction during that scene is the same as it was for many who saw this in ‘92; laughing so hard.
The reason Kevin didn’t call the police in the first movie was the phone lines were down for the first part, then he recognised Harry as the Cop who came to the house
The reason he didn’t call them in the second movie was because the hotel and police were looking for him for credit card fraud
He also didnt call them from his phone in the first one because he stole from the super market getting away from the neighbor he thought was a serial killer. And he knew if he did call the police even if they didnt arrest him they would take him away from the house.
So fucking wholesome that not only this group of adults can truly laugh and enjoy the slapstick humor from a 2 decade old movie but they also have already seen it and still keep the joy. Normies are dope and friend goals.
I haven't seen this since I was a kid and was laughing the whole time. My stomach hurts from laughing so much.
It's nice to see you watch something everyone's seen once in awhile, without the pressure of not 'missing' anything, y'all can laugh your asses off and add on point commentary without pissing off those fans, you know the type.
i think the room service price is perfectly reasonable considering the hotel he was in. yes he just got a lot of desserts, but at a 5-star Manhatten hotel like that, the prices for things like room service/ minibar snacks is astronomical.
Don't forget to account for inflation. $900+ in room service hits harder in 1992 than it does in 2021.
Yeah and the family was obviously very well off. That bill shouldn’t have been a problem for them at all.
Brick scene cracks me up all the time! The more Marv gets hit the harder I laugh lol!!! 😂😂😂😂
I’m dead 😂 when the audio went down but dude turned into a skeleton 🤣🤣🤣 I’m in tears thank you guys for this ❤️
Harry and Marv are the real life versions of Mortal Kombat characters, no matter how many times their necks are broken or how many times they lose their kneecaps, they just say “I can do this all day”
Why do you think kevin was getting deadly with these traps?
@@mlpfanboy1701 True
Question: What’s Kevin McCallister’s favorite genre of music?
Answer: Trap
I was today years old when I realized the receptionist that Kevin talked to was the French nun from rush hour 3. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
The agent at the ticket counter in NY was Ally Sheedy.
The physical comedy in this movie is briliant! Love it!
The reason why Kevin is afraid to go to the police station is actually explained in a cut bit (that made it into the novelization). Kevin sees a police PSA on TV where they explain they’re planning on cracking down harder on credit card fraud - including by minors.
Yeah that scene really wasn’t needed, Kevin’s 9 and the hotel was going to have him arrested for fraud, it’s perfectly reasonable for him to be concerned about going to the cops
This is one of my favorite reactions. I've watched this movie over and over but watching the reactions made me laugh out loud again.
Pat starts hilariously falling asleep from @36:48.. waking up to laugh at moments, to only go back to sleep.😂
I think my dude's on something thats why hes falling asleep like that🤷🏻♀️
Fun fact: When the birds attacked them, Daniel Stern actually got a bird in his mouth. When you watch you hear him screaming and then suddenly stop. That's what happened lol
27:28
Oh my god, she’s homeless.
I literally got that AS they were talking about the pigeon lady being homeless.
Anyway great reaction guys
The turtledoves scene always made me cry. The worst part is I looked her up the other night, and the actress [Brenda Fricker] has had serious struggles with depression and money, and she spends Christmas alone and lonely with the blinds down.
Your reactions made the movie 10x better I've never laughed so much watching this movie🤣 great reaction y'all ❤️
This upload hands down has the most laughter I've ever seen on the channel.
I love Tim Curry's shocking face 14:53
The goat president cameo
We all know in real life she would’ve lost custody of her son
I like Rana’s Christmas hat, she’d make a great Mrs Claus.
Kevin didn't get lost, he knew damn well what he was doing, he just wanted to got to New York instead of Miami. His dad was just stupid enough to give him the credit cards.
To be fair an accurate theory tbh.
Pat stay falling asleep during the middle of this movie😂 had me cracking up😂😂
I love this movie, i got that talk boy for Christmas when i was 4 ill never forget it that was the best gift ever
If anyone's curious, a $967 Room service bill from '92 would be roughly $1915 in today's money.
1,916.57 to be exact
I love the energy this reaction, this one's a classic
This is my favorite in the series and I thoroughly enjoyed reliving this classic with you guys! Merry Christmas all!🎄
Home Alone follows a franchise rule that I have came up with myself “The first two are the best, ignore the rest.” That also goes for franchises like The Godfather, Alien, and Terminator. This is just my opinion, your opinion about these franchises are valid.
The third one is still pretty good too, even if it is with different characters. Keep in mind that Home Alone 3 was released in 1997, five years after the second one. By that time Kevin was a teenager and could be left home alone. They couldn't keep using the same characters all the time (except for the fourth one, where it's some of the main characters from the first 2 films being played by completely different actors).
32:30 first brick hitting him like that he is lucky if he forgets what species he is, second one he is dead, third one proves he is immortal.
To answer your question, yes, Eddie Bracken, who played Mr. Duncan, died in 2002 at the age of 87. Fun fact; he was also in National Lampoon's Vacation and Baby's Day Out, both of which involved John Hughes (he wrote the screenplay for Vacation and wrote/produced Baby's Day Out).
23:41 Respect for the Mulaney reference.
Not sure if this is against the general consensus, but I prefer HA2 over HA1. The setting, traps, music, and story just gel with me more.
Agreed, in this one they turn the goofiness up to the max LOL
Same here
@Brooklyns Finest You make me sad...
Marv screaming Never with the pose kills me everytime i see it
10:53 this exchange made me laugh.
Suraj: Another world/national treasure here (talking about Tim Curry)
Marketa: Oh shut up (thinking he's being sarcastic talking about Trump, who is about to appear on screen)
I think they r very happy with Biden now)
22:58 man pat is knocked out lmao
I love the bit when we discover Piers Morgan only has his pigeons for friends, and even they crap on him.
I see you don't think highly of the guy
17:47 My dog legit started howling lol.
There is a novelization of the movie that explains what Kevin's parent do for a living to be able to afford their living
Kevin's dad is the VP of the Chicago stock exchange and his mom is a fashion designer
That explains all the mannequins in the first movie
I was crying watching this had me dying 😂
The first brick made him forget math. The second brick made him forget literature. The third brick made him forget history. And the fourth brick made him forget science
This was so much fun to watch with you guys. Your reaction was hilarious.
The best line ever 36:38
Spoken like a true hero, Marv
I love the first two Home Alone movies
Did NOT expect a John Mulaney reference, but I greatly appreciate it
Another movie where the sequel surpassed the original is Scary Movie 2. Tim Curry is also in that one.
Common denominator ;)
24:10 Shoutout to Baltimore!
It's a Wonderful Life is the best christmas movie ever made. You could watch that!
"I'd a left"
Bro you would be dead after like the second brick if not the first one 😂
Fun Fact: The actor that plays Uncle Frank is from my home town of Independence, Kansas.
Home Alone 1&2 are timeless classics.
I love that line 36:38 NEVER!
Fun fact O'Hara said in an interview that Culkin(Kevin) still refers to her as "Mom"
This movies show how humans love seeing torture when conscience is not in the way.
Lmao k.
lmao its not the torture thats funny, its the fact that its so over the top, like looney tunes shit.
It's called slapstick comedy. Looney tunes used to do it all the time.
Love your love for Tim Curry, and that you showed the slap scene (many reactors don't include it?!)
"Do bundle up, it's awfully cold outside 🥺"
32:51 Strike one, 33:02 Strike two 33:06 Strike three you're out Marv! 34:49-34:50 What a shocking experience, 35:14 He went out with a bang
man, seeing yall enjoy this, my childhood, man, istg blind wave should react to this too even if theyve seen it already, its good shit
Chris: "Mickey you get lost like, just in general" so accurate lmao.
Tim Curry is really the best. *Rocky Horror* and Clue are definitely my favorites of his films.
Home Alone 1&2 are flawless
The Best Christmas Movie Back In The 90S
For me it's still the best today. The 2 Home Alone movies are ❤️
Suraj quoting John Mulaney xD I see you man!
35:14 Always cracks me up everytime in tis season 😂
I've never seen The Normies laugh this hard until now 😭
I hadn't seen this movie since I was a teen, about 10 years and the brick scene had me laughing so hard I was in tears along with the electrocution scene, that was about 11 years ago. It's a Christmas movie must for me in December
I'm really glad you guys reacted to this one, I didn't think you would.
16:56 bro literally smiled like the grinch , about to steal Kevin’s Christmas lmao 😂
Bro pat actually falling asleep at 37:01 😂😂
The talkboy wasn’t a product placement. It was made as a prop for the film and became so popular they started to sell them after because of the movie.
Me and my little cousin rewound that electrocution and the brick throwing scene so many times.
41:52 Home Alone 2 was actually released in 1992.
the skeleton bit is my favorite 🤣🤣
Home Alone 2 is my favorite Home Alone movie and one of my top 10 favorite movies of all time.
11:28 Actually it's not a product placement, as the Talkboy didn't exist as a toy yet. It was a prop specifically made for the movie, but people at the time thought it was a real toy and after seeing the movie in theaters a lot of them went looking for the Talkboy to get it for their kids for Christmas, only to learn that it wasn't real.
It was then made as a real toy for next Christmas because of how many people requested it.
Watching y’all react to this again on RUclips like I ain’t watch it on patreon 😩😂
Lmao at the end Pat falling asleep. xD
Chris: "Buzz had it coming! F*** him" THANK YOU
Y'all's reactions always make me laugh every day. Keep up the good work👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
It's Christmas and it's time for the Home Alone movies...great reaction guys
This is a movie me and my family will always watch when it comes on, especially on Christmas
11:12 love the south park ref
I think the most split poll you'd ever have would be between The Office and Brooklyn 99
Kevin became extremely sadistic and turned into the Jigsaw Killer in Home Alone 2. I love this!!
36:38 Marv said NEVER everybody laughs
37:00 looks like guy in the middle is so laughed out he’s tired lol…Fallon asleep haha
This is quite literally the hardest I've ever seen the Normies laugh
Third most underrated soundtrack by John Williams. Second one is Home Alone 1. First one is Hook
