A bit unrelated but according to the files (and environment itself) Tangle/Blob was the one to open the Monty/Chica gate's blocking the entrance to the elevator, which could suggest Gregory/Vanessa went to seal the Mimic after the earthquake.

I like the Jeremy theory. It's a fun theory. FNAF is the Jeremys we made along the way. Cassie's head is invaded by the mimic AI so it still tracks.
While the vanny ending is accessed by walking up to one of the exits it is not disabled once you choose to stay, you can disassemble chica, then Roxy, choose to stay, disassemble monty and then go to the vanny ending by going to any of the multiple exits.
I couldn’t remember if it was accessible after saying you’ll stay, that’s good to know
Surely, if we’re running with that in Help Wanted 2 we play as Cassie’s father, who is Jeremy, then it would have to be a prequel before he’s cut off his face and lost his eyesight?
I tripped myself up about that part, but yeah it would (most likely) have to be a prequel. Unless somehow he got rehired.
A family of jermeys is interesting, but i did see a theory relating to memories and the "forever and ever" phrase, and history repeating. The possible roxy-standin is a really interesting theory

There’s more evidence that Gregory is in the pizzaplex looking for Cassie than you mentioned. There’s the rare Easter egg where a security robot is taken over by the real Gregory, and the fact that Roxy runs off looking for Gregory during the Roxy raceway section implying that he is really there.

Yeah, everything was pointing to him not being at the pizzaplex, Roxy seems out of touch with reality which is why she seems to run off after hearing his voice
There is one thing that makes me say the free vanny ending CANT be the canon one. For it to be canon, vanny would need to be gone. You save vanny before the earthquake happens.
The problem with this is that we see vanny’s graffiti in the entrance of the pizzaplex in ruin . Its the exact same as found in vanny’s hideout and the room where you fight burntrap. It means vanny still exists. But that wouldn’t be possible if you already saved her

Initially choosing to stay does not lock you out of the Free Vanny ending. You can go back to the entrance after shattering the third Glamrock and you'll still get the prompt to Leave. In fact, that's the ONLY way to get the Vanny ending if you choose to shatter Monty first.
3:20 if I remember correctly. Chicas voice box is somewhere around in the building with Monty’s legs being in some kinda illusion thing so
I have a big feeling we went the MONTY route with Chica losing said beak or voice box in some kind of earth quake

With China’s damages the same and the fact her voice box in in an arcade machine, it didn’t sit right with me to chalk that all up to coincidence, but I do understand where you’re coming from

Does that mean he’s the same CC or connected to CC directly? No.
It’s a thematic kinda thing which represents how events can repeat themselves
Sorta like how the mimic is mimicking what William does and soon using Vanessa and later on gregory as it’s minions, almost as a representation of how the Afton family might’ve been like,

Regardless however it just doesn’t make sense to me for it to be both the burntrap AND the princess quest ending to be canon when, there’s no princess quest drawing and not much destruction inside the burntrap lair specifically, as for why the blobs there? In ways he’s been there even without the burntrap ending as it explains why he takes those items and such,
I have a big sneaking suspicion we’ll get to see that guy later on in the help wanted 2 game however, just feels suitable
@@skelebonez1349 That’s a really interesting idea about events repeating themselves. I do agree about both ending being cannon is odd, but it’s what made sense at the time. I may go back and revisit my theory and see redo it in a longer video to better explain my theory.
It’s great to have different views on the same subject, it allows alternative think that one person alone would not be able to accomplish, it’s what makes the fnaf community so great to be apart of.

MatPat's dates are a bit mixed up, FNAF 3 takes place in 2015, 30 years after the first opening of the first location, not 30 years after FNAF 1, the re-opening of the first location after FNAF 2.

(side note when I say likely, it's because I'm paraphrasing from memory, my facts won't be 100%)
Old evidence does make it more likely that FNaF 3 takes place around 2015 because it's actually about the closing of the restaurant that shut down in 1985, which actually makes more sense, Especially from a writing perspective, which is what convinced me
Scott really, really, REALLY loves parallels in his stories, and setting the game in around 2015-16 or so would have given us that parallel to our own timeline
However the actual in game evidence is mostly based off the fact that we know there was an original Freddy fazbears pizza, because that restaurant was the only one that really could have been beloved. FNaF 2's pizzaria didn't last more than like 2 weeks iirc, and the Fazbear's Pizza in 1992 was the one with the MCI that got all the newspaper publication, meaning, there was only one Fazbear's Pizza that could have been genuinely beloved, the one that closed before FNaF 2.
I'm not 100% on how we got the 1985 number, but if I were to speculate, it'd be something like Scott wanting the game to have one of his tasty tasty parallels, because the game was released in 2015.
I only realized afterwards that it was likely 2015. Me saying 2020 was mainly because I didn’t know that the community found a different date, I had been running on old information at the time. I have a note on my desk now specifically so I don’t mess that up in any future videos.
@@TheoryReplayZ we all have, this is still not something a lot of people know, and plenty of the people who do know, don't accept it because of how well established the old date was, and overall this is a very mild discrepancy
I have one problem with the Jeremy theory. The psychological trauma that the Mimic 1 Program inflicted on him that _lead_ to him slicing his face off in the first place. Jeremy was so traumatized that he became su--idal! And on top of that, his employers and coworks probably thought he should be admitted to a psych ward! No one, under *any* circumstances, would work for the exact same company that drove them into believing they were insane. Not to mention that HWJeremy was a game tester, not a robotics mechanic like Cassie's father. Extremely different jobs, with the later requiring extensive education. It just doesn't fit well when considering the psychological state of this poor man.
My problem with most FNaF theorists is that they're so eager to solve something about a pre-established character that they tend to forget what trauma does to a person. Vanessa is a perfect example. Her father abused her. He forced her into dalsely testifying against her own mother. She had to obey, else she'd get hurt. With that in mind, it's no wonder why Vanny was so subservient. If she didn't do as the Mimic 1 Program told, she'd be seriously hurt, maybe even killed!
So I'd say we should leave Jeremy alone. He's suffered enough after what the Mimic 1 Program put him through.
That is a good argument, however there are a few things I disagree with. Jeremy was on the dev team and previously did design work, he wasn’t just a beta tester. Jeremy was never confirmed to be suicidal, nor was he said to be insane, he most likely cut off his face to make him break free of Glitchtraps control. The employer fired him because “he saw something”. In my haste though I missed the fact that he doesn’t work for fazbear but rather a game company of sorts. So it wasn’t fazbear who traumatized him, it also doesn’t mean he was sent over to the pizzaplex like I had thought, he could have applied there once it had opened having no previous record in fazbear entertainment. I believe there might have been a secret reason for him working at the pizzaplex, I’m not sure what that might be, but with theories circulating about Cassie’s father being the one who trapped the mimic, there might be reason to think this. Finally Jeremy’s mental state is a fair point, but with characters like Mike who went through hell to complete his mission as well as 90% of the characters from the books, I think Jeremy might have been able to overcome at least some of his trauma.
It is nice to see an opposing viewpoint, it makes me take a second look at what I had said, thank you.

For the chica and monty thing. Its weird that you allways go into the fazer blast wndings with montys claws and rocys eyes, even if you dont take down monty. Likly a hold over from when youd have to do all 3 or something, but you will allways go into the fazerblast wndings with freddy having montys claws. Actualy looking close he also has the purple bow tie, so canonicly you do go into the fazer blast endings with all 3 upgrades, even if you dont take down all 3 before going in, which is something you can do, stickbaround destroy the last bot then go for vanny. Thats probably what happened. Go check the vanny disasembled and princess quest endings. Freddy will allways have those 3 upgrades because its a pre rendered scene.

@@TheoryReplayZ it's not that hard to test if you don't trust me lol. But you will allways go into that cutscene with montys claws even if you dont have montys claws. He won't be shattered, but in the cutscene freddy will have em. To test it all you'd need to do is start a fresh save file, rush to the choice between monty and chica, do chica then play the vanny endings. Or stay and then get montys claws and only after that go to the vanny fight. Both can be done on the same save file lol.
It actualy took me a few playthroughs of the base game to notice this but since I've been going for pq every time rather then burntrap I've been noticing this stuff lols

I don’t think the tech differences mattered in the first place, especially with the funtimes supposedly being made sometime before the 2000s.
Before watching imma hope we talk about how the the ending being strange as how does Gregory know what burntrap and the blob look like without actually seeing them.

Edit: also I don't think Roxy is self centered. I think she is self conscious and those were affirmations. She is suppose to be the pretty one and she feels that pressure

I don’t think “Roxy” saying Cassie at the end is actually Roxy, I think it’s the Mimic.
Because the line “Cassie?” Is a reused line from earlier in the game, it’s not a unique voice line. The Mimic when it’s pretending to be Gregory is reusing voice lines from Security Breach and not using Unique lines.
So I think it’s the Mimic at the end imitating Roxy (because it’s a copied voice Line, not a unique one)
Edit: it’s also been proven that Fnaf 3 happens in 2015 and Fnaf 1 is 1992 (as proven in GiBi’s video)
The only reason I’m uncertain about the Roxy line is because from a gameplay standpoint this allows a follow up game where we venture the pizzaplex with Roxy, and from a story standpoint, I assume the mimic wanted to escaped as fast as possible
How did the mimic get the radio and work it if it was sealed in with concrete far underground, either magic or the mimics a master builder and those radios reacher/connection are stronger than NASA’s satellites 😂

Omg that music loop really gets old and I mean old really quickly. I had to stop the video cuz it was driving me freaking insane. The same like six notes over and over and over and over and over again. Do you even listen to your audio after you put it together???? I don't know how you could sit there through minutes on end of that just looping nonsense and be like "yeah this isn't absolute torture for my audience" I had the video on in the background and I had to go over to my phone and shut it off it was just driving me so freaking crazy.
That video was my first attempt at using music in the background, I realized quickly that it wasn’t great.
