For some reason I still haven't gone here, I was driving past it constantly though, the past eight years or more, living near Queens at the time. Next time I'm over here, I'm going for sure.
Sometimes I would go down to Bellerose at Hillside Ave. to get Halal food from the truck, much more often. For some dumb reason, Nassau/Suffolk lacks great Greek food like this.
In Chicago we pronounce GYRO (Gear-Row) some areas in Chicago also pronounced it Yeero, but for the most part (Gear-Row is the standard)

The pronunciation is based off what language you speak honestly. I worked as a food inspector and all the different ethic restaurants pronounced it differently.
