Got mine working by using St link flashing the BLE. my only issue is when I turn on the front headlight the scooter goes nuts screen flickering and motor start engaging by itself 🤔 I've tried 2 different displays off amazon now both are doing this. If I unplug the front light the scooter works perfectly fine so strange

flashed the bluetooth firmware then flashed with custom firmware and the battery indicator immediately jumped to red, speed meter stopped working.... what am I doing wrong?

My m365 is going 30km/h with only one firmware upgrade, it runs fine, and at maximum reach it's basically the same except power draw in hills are bigger and it takes me there faster. I also modified how the battery gets charged while braking and down hills, this will recharge the battery at a greater phase, it works fine for me. I don't want the pro model since the charge time is much longer and I normally don't go for several miles. Basically the original battery takes about 5.5 hours from 0 to 100% and the pro model takes about 8.5 hours from 0 to 100%. That makes the charging capacity in time much greater in the none pro model.
I have a pro dashboard and it the scooter works fine but the display doesn't work. It lights up but shows no speed or battery or anything.
@@scootersonlyrepair my comment was from over a year ago, since then my 365 has died (battery controller burned out) i have also bought my self the pro 2 with nearly the same configuration as my old one. I do how ever have a clicking noice from the motor at high speeds, i will be opening it up during next week to find out what it might be.
So my Firmware is 1.5.2 and i bought the pro Dashboard but the light is not working and i cant switch between drive modes like in this video, i have an iPhone and there is an App called „m365 downG“ in the apple store, what bin files are needed and where can i find those files to fix this problem?
Yeeh! good video!! the only way to update the firmware with that board is using a st-link, although as you say it is better to plug in the old board when you want to change the firmware. A greeting.
That led display you installed is compatible to all unit or like Lexgo r9 lite?
What must do to return on the original board with v.1.5.1 firmware?
Followed the instructions after successfully flashing DRV155 The display shows 10 and a red wrench. It turns off automatically after 15 seconds which doesn’t allow me to connect via Bluetooth to M365_down or the mi app. Pretty much bricked my scooter. Now I have to st Iink to unbrick my controller or buy a whole new one. Be careful!
had a similar issue, showed 14 and a red wrench. I was able to fix it by putting the old PCB back on and using a 1.3.8 build from m365.botox.bz/ and flashing with play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.m365downgrade
I have m365 with firmware of v5.5.1 without knowing hot to hack? Can i change my dashboard to pro then hack the speed from there?
Thanks for this video man, it helped me to do this job. I found I could do the firmware upgrade on the xiaomi home app and got 29kph straight away just choose the pro version firmware when the app gives the option.

@@Al1Shah I will try, when i fitted the new pro display to the M365 I did it exactly like he shows on the video, but when he updated the firmware in the video he used an app called m365 downG. This app is not an official Xiaomi app and he had to find the firmware separately.When I updated the firmware I used the official "Xiaomi home" app from google play store so I did not have to find the firmware myself. hope this helps, if not let me know and I'll try to make a video to show you more.
Paul Ryder I think I understand. Basically I am thinking about buying a xiaomi scooter but I’m unsure on whether to get the pro or normal (and just install the pro dashboard). The main reason is the further distance that appeals to me. Other than that, there seems to be no difference. What do you suggest?
@@Al1Shah yes the only difference between the basic m365 and pro is larger battery (longer range) and slightly faster. if you buy the basic m365 and do the display and firmware update it is essentially a pro version with slightly less range. I've had my scooter for a year now and done 1000km on it. If you're planning on using it for journeys longer than 10 miles I'd buy the pro, for anything within 10 miles the basic m365 can handle it with ease.

Some instructables recommend updating firmware with the original dashboard in place, before swapping the dashboards.

El BMS que debéis de utilizar es el 115 de la versión normal. Antes de cambiar la placa el patinete debe de tener la versión ble 0.81 y el bms 115. Cambias la placa y solamente necesitas cargar el firmware de la versión pro. NO HAY QUE CAMBIAR NADA MAS, TU BATERIA ES NORMAL. Hi I did everything that’s in the video the problem is that after everything I’m having an annoying error 14 when I plug my scooter and in full battery it doesn’t error but when it goes 85% and below the error 14 occurs. I’m on drv 1.55 and bms bl on 10201

Looks like you have a clone board, the original board does not flash the Bluetooth LED icon.
Also how do you go back to the 4 LED firmware ?? I had 1.5.5 and then it upgraded to 1.6.6.
Now If i try to swap back, the leds just count down, and then the scooter turns off. It must be a firmware issue.
Any ideas ?

Hi I need HELP !!! So I have this Chinese copy of Xaomi pro. It is working fine but I can’t make any modifications or no even change the firmware. Great video, just installed mine yesterday. 2 issues I can’t figure out, I am not able to switch to MPH, I change it on the mi home app, but it doesn’t change it on the dash, I also tried other app like M365 dashboard, M365 plus but no luck, also I am not able to update firmware, just says error.

This is the part no one talks about, you cannot return back to the original unless you know how to reflash the original firmware of the 4 LED screen layout.
Try a own maked firmware with toolkit, i had taht problem to - the only waht i can flash after that is a own firm

Ble And Firmware xiaomi scooter pro 2
I have the pro 2 And I installed the BLE via Bluetooth, when it was finished the screen froze and I pressed the powere button and closed the screen. Then it never reopened. The BLE I installed was for the pro 1, if I buy the screen of pro 1 and put it on the skate do you think it will work? in essence the skate has the new screen of pro 2. So maybe it doesn't match the BLE I installed on this screen.
so only new panel is flash-able to M365pro. I was unable to flash second file too

Hi lads,
this might help someone who thought for a minute, that his scooter was gone for good.
I will try to be short and understandable as possible.
If you finish your DRV flash and your scooter seems to be gone, you can not turn it off neither connect to it, or your tailight starts flashing when you're moving the scooter, do not worry.
Unscrew the screws below the bar like you did when you were installing your new display, and disconnect the male pin from female, wait for 10 seconds and reconnect them.
Bam, your scooter is back to life, just go back to m365down g and connect to it once again, check version, open BML bin and flash it.
Everything should be okay now.

Hey everyone! I have a major problem which might have killed my scooter. I did everything Pirate said to (swapped out the board, downloaded all 3 FW files, etc.) and when I went to upload the FW onto the scooter, I was able to upload all 3, but the scooter still behaves as it did before the updates. It looks like everyone else only did the DRV FW updates, and theirs worked. Is there any way I can clear all the FW updates off the scooter, so I can start from scratch with the 1.3.8 FW again?

I used the iOS version of m365 downg to install a cfw 1.4.2 couple weeks ago. Everything worked fine. Then today, I received the pro dashboard. I tried making my own gonka365 1.5.5 firmware and I tried the firmware in the description. In both cases, the iOS app said the flashing was “done”. But the firmware stays at 1.4.2. Any ideas?

Hey there had a question I live in a unicorperated area where junk yards were now being made to house tract and a field they were clearing a worker found a bird scooter first ( gen bird 1 ) the ones you buy for ( $1,200 ) and he said If i wanted it said sure pushed it home bad shape cables and accerler wire .. so gona contact bird in Santa Monica calif . See if they can trace it to owner if they are registered..see if he wants it back .. would it cost a lot to refurbish it and make it usable ..

I'm a little concerned as how the pro dashboard treats the smaller battery and weaker motor, are therr any compatibility issues such as over charge/over discharging battery, are you still able to update through mijia etc
So you can decrease power in moded FW, no other issues, dont connect to xiaomi app cause its not very usefull any more.

So a lot of people are having issues flashing the bms and ble, how do you get past this??
I just connected my original board (non pro) just with the connector, nothing else was connected, and was able to connect to M365downG was able to check version as well, and BMS was 116 & BLE was 72 with fw 155. So i am not sure if these are correct. Also i noticed that the brake light and one light was flashing on the original dashboard?
I am now going to connect the pro dashboard again to see if i can connect to M365downG again and try to check version.😁
Ok so i reconnected the pro dashboard bought from AliExpress for only £13.62!!
I got some different results on the bms and ble. It states:
BMS ver. 10201
BLE ver. 10201
BMS ver. 10201

DRV ver. 155
Not sure why it lists bms & ble twice?? I am also not sure if i should try to flash the bms and ble again?
