Ummm but what lines do I follow I need help bad my key fob only half works it will lock the doors but that’s it and the alarm keeps going off every time I try to open the door pop the hood insert the key

Do you know if there's a button on the anti theft system alarm on a 2006 Chevy HHR LT? I tried all the ten second hold your key crap too.nothing it's been 3 weeks now still no luck
Tell you what this made my day. All the forums and videos from the PROs never once mentioned this. Battery and starter later I see this video. Pushed button and it fired right up
Most antitheft immobilizers only kill starter relay circuits. You can manually jump the starter relay terminals while you have the key turned to the on position and it will start. If you're less savvy and more risky, rusty old screwdriver across the terminals on the starter. Or some cars near the battery and fuse box you'll see a plug with only one wire that goes to the starter. Just disconnect it and touch the starter side of the connect6er to the positive on the battery.
@@bdredden71 if this was directed to me, pats on my Econoline 350 service van disabled the starter, but I did what I was saying by shorting the starter solenoid no problem. Now gm and their passkey 2 system actually disabled fuel pump as well

The exact same thing works and has the tiny button on Ford Expeditions. On Expedition it is located high on drivers kick panel
