John must have been a REAL "TREAT" to work with. He wasted so much money for his hubris and inability to take accountability for his mistakes. I have no sympathy for the schmuck

City employee here. Standing orders are to ignore the cameras and get a backer.

You can get something done: 1) Correctly 2) Quickly 3) Cheaply. But you can only chose TWO of these things.
Story 1: If John feels like one of their people could get hurt by getting too close then solve the entire issue and just KEEP THEM COMPLETELY AWAY FROM THE AREA!

If I was OP's Boss, the moment John sent that Email, I'd have sent it to John's Boss along with a Formal Complaint along with a notice that if John is anywhere near us, we WILL shut the Job Down until John is removed from the Site...
Then I'd have responded to John's Email with a Politely worded Take this, stick it on a brain cactus and shove it up your Waste Disposal Orifice and then proceed to ignore his request to slow down as that is a direct violation of the Hiring Contract Requirement for speed...in addition to that, running the machines at a low idle is not good for them...

Why complain since the head of the facility came out to see about it all and that person also hate's John, and since it was going to cost John his bonus because that bonus will be eaten up by costs, then why would they need to have John removed from the site lol

I'd not be surprised if the used the job , which they needed done any to get rid of John as they knew he would do something to screw it up and give them grounds to terminate him.

Items must be labeled by law, the labels must me clearly visible, people still will ask how much something is, even though they are pointing at the pricing 😢

Good afternoon Rob 👍 I'm late due to getting a headstart on Thanksgiving desserts and taking care of the five year old and a small puppy. Just got a chance to take a break. Have an awesome day 👋🤗

What high tech buses are in your town? I live in MTL and there are some new hybrid and electric models but the old fleet is still running. Without backup sensors ..

Doesn't matter. City vehicles where I live need a spotter, despite thousands of dollars worth of cameras.

That's what I tell the Subway sandwich person, I'll tell them I want a chicken bacon ranch sandwich and they always ask every single item. I have to say see that picture that's what I want if I wanted different I would say with or without.
