One thing remarkable is all the love and credit you give to fellow stitch leaders, like Marion. This is how we all move forward, in the most noble sense❤️
I, too, have relocated, Katherine. I lived in Wisconsin, USA for 51 years (20 years prior in MN). We moved to a coastal area in North Carolina 5 years ago. We sold our lovely lake home and thought we would scale down to a smaller home in a "retirement community." We not longer had privacy, nature, seasonal weather, peace and quiet and our new community grew to 5,000 homes in 4 years. The weather was hot and humid. We golfed 3 times a week to surround ourselves with trees and greenery which we desperately missed. We discovered the beauty of Western North Carolina and a year ago we moved to the mountains. We rented a house for 8 months while we built a home in a small, wooded community. This move has proven to be the perfect destination for us. I am now back into stitching, art, nature and feel like I have returned to me! Your videos are beautiful and I am grateful for your talent and wonderful work. Please continue to share your talents and experiences as you continue on your new journey. Change is difficult but you've got this!
How lovely that you have finally found settled contentment. Change can be very alarming if it is something that hasn't been planned, but when there is no option you just have to deal with it. Treating it as an adventure can sometimes help - explore your new surroundings, find places where you can enjoy beautiful vistas, find the garden centre if you love gardening, , shops, cafes. clubs, people who have similar interests, - social, hobbies, volunteering. Set yourself enjoyable targets, have a "me day" regularly when you can have a leisurely start, visit a library, or a local attraction, have lunch or afternoon tea out, take public transport, or drive, to a different area to explore. Free senior bus passes are brilliant - depending on where you are you could get to many places - the coast, , a town with a big market you've never before visited, the list is endless. And if you have the means to sell and buy elsewhere so much the better.
Love to hear the happiness in your voice. Twelve years ago I started anew after twenty nine years married. It has been a nice adventure for me. Wishing you the best!
Absolutely brilliant with lots of laughter from myself as well as you. Fredfred was a superstar. So lovely to see you settling and your voice sounds so much more cheerful. I absolutely love lichen too
Thanks for the lichen information. It was very good to learn new things. I really appreciate the time you put into your videos. I like all the stuff🤭 you do!
Here in the U.S., your videos have become my special “calm in the storm,” of the crazy things happening here. I’ve temporarily turned off the news, to preserve my sanity. Thank you! I enjoy your wittering🙂
I know the video of Marion's, the tree, was 😮 course.Of tried it, and mine is nowhere as nice as hers. Really liked the lesson on lichen I pick it when I see it put in my plants
Thank you, Kathryn, for a little project that is my favorite way to stitch....on one of my favorite topics. I volunteer at a lighthouse on a spectacular peninsula on the central coast of California where I speak with people about the flora and fauna along the trail. Lichens are one of my favorite topics as they are ubiquitous on the rocks and whalebones out there. But I did not know they are a keystone species. I so appreciate new knowledge to share . Yesterday I found a new one to me--armored sea fog lichen--that will be my next stitch project.
I just learned about lichen this year when I read "Braiding Sweetgrass" and "Gathering Moss", I found it fascinating. And Fred Fred is not annoying, he is just being a cat, and he has really beautful eyes.❤
I ve watched this in segments over the last week, ending on Sunday evening…slowly, slowly catching up still. Last night Wilson, our dear girl cat sat in my arms as I watched in bed watching too! I m sure she loved seeing Fredfred as much as I did. I smiled as Wilson too likes to get centre front as I work! When your video ended Wilson yawned and stretched and went to her sleeping place at the foot of the bed…..lovely to hear there are neighbours to chat to if you want to -and to hear some brightness in your voice even though it s early days.sending love xxx
Hello Kathryn, Stella and Fred-Fred. In this mad world we find ourselves in I now only mainly watch Stitching and Quilting & Cat and Dog channel's on RUclips. Today you have made it a one stop viewing for me. Loved your Park (home)Life, so glad you have all settled in. In our home we talk in what it's, thingy-me-bobs, oojamaflips and dobbers. All of which we are fluent in. Yes I find there is always room for stuff if you are a Creative. Blessings to you all 😺🐕 😊❤️🏴🇬🇧
I laughed out loud at "if you look at something and it doesn't look right the answer is usually more stitching", I could not agree more. I enjoyed the Fred Fred cameo!
Beautiful stitching, Kathryn ❤ And lovely to see Fred Fred, and to hear about Stella's adventures - it sounds as if life is evening out for you all 😍 x
Lichen is amazing. Here in San Antonio it’s humid, so lots of lichen everywhere to observe and admire. Sounds like the little fur tyrants have settled in quite well. Forget life in France, their favorite human is with them and that’s all the matters to them.
Slow stitching is so relaxing. It's therapeutic, blots out everything else - - I hope you're finding some calm moments as you get your new home together. And love your furbabies. E❤
She is an absolute sweetheart. Yesterday evening she played gently with another little 5 month dachshund puppy. If anything, he was the boisterous one.. 😂❤️
Hello Kathryn, I loved your video. There is so much ‘stuff’ in it! Very interesting info on Lichen, interesting stitching on texture and comedy provided by FredFred who is a handsome kitty. Stuff is a great catch all expression isn’t it and we all know what you mean. 😊 I too enjoyed your Park ‘home’ Life video… looking forward to your next. ❤
I love lichen so much! It was wonderful to hear about your love for them as well. When I stitch I often use crochet cotton or pearl cotton, so my aughts pile is a lot of “stuff” 😀 couching like this is spectacular and do it often, but never with lichen in mind. Now I will!
How lovely, thank you for stitching with the company of Fred Fred!! I watched and listened with your company and memories of stitching with the help of my beautiful cat who was with me for 17 years and I still miss. Good to see you following your move and hope you’re settling gradually and contented with where you are, it sounds as though you are enjoying the connection with other friendly humans. I completely understand how that feels as I sit here in the middle of France, no-one around etc etc. Thank you.
I was so looking forward to this week's video being the first one recorded at your new desk, in your new home ❤ you're sounding delightfully bright and chatty Kathryn 🥰 it's so lovely to hear you chuckle. Your lichen inspired piece is so beautiful with all those stunning eyelets and stitchy 'stuff'. This week's project really speaks to me and I look forward to getting started - I love lichen and moss 🤎🩶
Several years ago, newly widowed, I would take my pack of dogs out into the deep woods. We would share a snack on a beautiful patch of moss highlighted by weak, late winter sun, surrounded by tender birch saplings, all atop the highest ridge, away from other humans as possible. We’d visit several times a week for months watching Spring creep over the land turning all around as lush and green as the moss always was. …green beacon of hope in an otherwise grey and white forest.
Thank you for sharing this video. Of course I have to go investigate about lichen, I am fascinated by them but know very little about. You seem to be in a much better place emotionally, so lovely to hear you laugh ! I tell you again thank you for all you share it means much more than you may realize !
The book of Francaise Tellier-Loumagne is wonderful! She is a great designer and her book about knitting is inspiring too. Do you also noticed Natalie Chanin (Alabama Studio Style)? Best wishes🪡🧵!
Our nearly 20 y😮old cat, Kayla, has decided that she is now a lap cat after ignoring us for most of her life with regard to having cuddles, it's nice to finally be appreciated but it has made sewing more difficult and definitely more hairy! Glad you are settling in, beach walks are good for the soul. Love the info on lichen one of my favourites too.🎉🎉 ,
I love this style of stitching. I also like listening to your stories and information on different subjects…. And I love, love, love hearing Stella’s ticking on the flooring of your new home. ❤️
I have finally been able to sit down and create my own little Nature’s Textures which I will share in the FB group. But I think this is the third time I have watched this video…and thoroughly enjoyed it each time! Thank you for this lovely inspiration…I enjoyed reaching in to my jar of orts. 😊❤
All hail the Tyrant Fred Fred! I am at the tail lashing part of the video and laughing aloud at his indignation! Lovely crusty stitching, can’t wait to try it!
Beautiful piece this one Kathryn! And so wonderful you found the inspiration piece when you moved back to your homeland. I love to see how Fredfred and Stella are keeping you company. Listening to you (and them) is very comforting! Thank you so much for doing this and every video. ❤
Your video color and brightness is really perfect where you’ve set it up! Love your piece you’ve made today….so inspiring to make beauty from little scraps of leftovers!
Stuff, stuff, stuffy , stuff stuff! You made me chuckle. I love your lichen piece. I often free stitch and always enjoy it. Your talk of lichen took me back 60 years to my fourth form biology class. I was very good at biology and got 99% in my 5th form School Certificate exam. People used to tease me that I had spelled my name wrong. Our biology teacher was a lovely English woman, Mrs Foley. She had an unusual speech defect in that each time she enunciated an S she whistled. We girls had fits of laughter taking turns copying her saying, ' It's photosynthesis girls'. I just tried to say it with the whistles, and I can still do it! So silly making myself laugh. Thank you for being a catalyst to such memories. My son told me today that my former brother in law has been put into a care home. Some how it made me realize just how old I am. It's sad. It's my greatest fear that I will have to go into a home. Such a dreadful misnomer. Tomorrow will be 100 years since my father was born. That amazes me. Dad died two years ago at 98 and my mother died four months after him.Now I am wittering. Fred Fred is such a delight. Yes we do have crumpets here. I love them but am sworn off them until I get my insulin resistance under control. Lots of love, (arohanui), from me in Aotearoa New Zealand ❤❤❤
Brilliant Kathryn just brilliant so good to hear you sounding more upbeat, here’s to a beautiful and better new life full of joy and new adventures. x 💐
I think you might enjoy the essay, "Ruskin and Lichen" by Kate Flint in The Courtauld Ruskin wrote, "In one sense the humblest, in another they are the most honoured of the earth-children. Unfading, as motionless, the worm frets them not, and the autumn wastes not. Strong in lowliness, they neither blanch in heat nor pine in frost. To them, slow-fingered, constant-hearted, is entrusted the weaving of the dark, eternal tapestries of the hills; to them, slow-pencilled, iris-dyed, the tender framing of their endless imagery." Greeat stuff, K3n!
Thank you so much Julie, I have written that on the facing page in my stitch journal and I will look up the essay. I have visited Ruskin's house on Conniston many years ago. ❤️
Hi Kathryn! I love your video this week, you sound wonderful as so many have said. I know things aren't perfect but I can see you are settling in nicely and so happy for you and the fur babies. BTW, Brian is my cat enthusiast, says that Fred Fred flipping his tail around while sitting close to you is his way of communicating with you. I bet he's saying, "mum, I want a cuddle" and thank you for being here! And I thank you for being here too! 💛💛💛
Hello Kathryn~ I've only heard of lichen in the past few years and didn't know what it was, and didn't take the time to google. I'm so glad that I didn't because you supplied such a wealth of information and knowledge that I feel they are sacred and should be treated as such. Love the stitching practice of today, but my brain is on scramble and I will have to attempt it at a later time. I got the giggles with you about "stuff", it was so refreshing! Thank you for being and doing YOU! huggs Edit: FredFred's tail was a total treat!
Don't think you would be happy to hear this, there is a lady on the internet who explores dyes from lichens for the beautiful colours they give. Natural dyes are from plants and deliberately harvested. Ethically concerns? Why the difference ?
Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us, once again😊. I am so happy to see how patient you are with Fred Fred. All of you have gone through so many changes. Your are loved by us all here in the stitching community you started🩷
Just beautiful, I enjoy doing this type of stitching and i have a few pieces that...one day i will do something with. You sound so much better and i like yummy crumpets too. Thanks again Kathryn 🧡
Ypu sound so much happier this week! I am so glad that you are finally settled in your new home, with Stella, Fredfred, and all your STUFF 😂. Thank you for the video, info on lichen (I haven't paid attention at school, but this is sooo interesting when you talk about it) and this slowstitching idea. Your piece turned out so beautiful ❤ I don't have time now for stitching but I enjoy watching you stitch and struggle with Fredfred's tail 😂
Hi Kathryn, I am really looking forward to try this technique; I like the idea of sculpting and am delighted to find a method for using some similar materials. I think this is one of my favourite videos, not just for the textile art/slow stitchiness but also because you sound so much better in yourself, I'm happy that Stella made you so proud meeting her new friend and I thoroughly enjoyed the lesson about lichen. Many thanks as ever, Becky x
Katherine, I really love your little house! It is charming and I'm sure it will be much loved over time. Thank you for showing us a glimpse of your new life.
Hi Kathryn, I so enjoy all of your videos. You are so knowledgable about so many things, thank you for sharing. It was lovely to hear that you are settling in and meeting neighbours. Take care and stay safe and well. Love Bella ❤❤
Oh Kathryn that was such a joy. Yes you definitely do have a different sound to your voice, you sound happier and relaxed and while there will be times of sadness You sound like you are going to have the best times ahead. I think you are going to produce an amazing new body of work from this realignment in your life. I had a chuckle with your knowledge of lichen and thought to myself, wow if I was a lichen in court on trial I would want you as my lawyer 😂😂. I always watch your videos at least twice so will try and remember to count the number of "stuffs"😂. God bless you and your lovely fur babies xxxxxxx
Oh my! I am having such a lovely time stitching with you today. My Pumpkin does a very similar sitting habit during stitching. He also sleeps on my legs to keep me from flying away during the night. Learning about lichen was so amazing...I also love lichen and mosses and fungi and all of the magical things that grow. Amazing miracles!
Lovely Kathryn, Just thought to let you know that your podcast inspired me to make a little purse for my 13 year old granddaughter out of her baby blanket that literally went everywhere with her for years. If when visiting it was left behind a special trip would have to be made to retrieve it or she would not settle. I’m still working on it but thank you love your podcast and all your wittering. Blessings for your new life with your lovely pet babies👵🏼xx
Welcome to Tiny House world, of which I count myself as at least an honorary member. Mine isn’t a park home but a 300yr old Scottish farm labourer’s cottage. We sleep in the roof, under a ceiling so low that we can only stand up in the middle. All that about lichen was so fascinating - I have a garden full of different varieties, and all I knew was that it was a Good Thing. So thank you for that. We also have 2 cats who love to settle down between us and whatever we’re doing. It’s Cat Law that you have to be looking at THEM! And talking to THEM!
I enjoy listening /watching, stitching along with you. I was taken by the lichen story and today noticed all the lichen on trees in my own yard. Saw it differently today. ..as a design to inspire a stitch piece. Took a few photos to look at for ideas🌞 May you be well and enjoy your new adventures💕
Yes we love FredFred ❤️ and like you will tolerate his behavior 👏 and find it quite amusing 😄 Stella we love you also❤ Stella seems well behaved and gentle ❤️
Incredible Lichen! One could go on ad infinitum expressing the beauty and awe of this lifeform. Your interpretation is beautiful and opens the doors of creativity in many mediums. Great home for so much "stuff". Loved Fredfred's appearance on stage. He is a gorgeous boy and his tail speaks volumes. Much appreciate all the knowledge you shared on lichen. I shall now regard it as a top priority among our many at risk and endangered species here in the Canadian Rockies.
Dearest Kathryn, my, my, your rediscovered piece celebrating lichen so very beautiful. I’ve been reading Merlin Sheldrake’s book Entangled Life and learning so much more about lichens, fungi, bacteria, viruses and symbiosis. How much we all are indeed one. I look forward to creating my own piece to honor such. xo j
This looks so fun and meditative, I can’t wait to have a go. The original cloth you started so long ago is beautiful. It must hold so many memories too. As ever I love listening to you K3n, you’re like a point of re-rooting in maelstrom madness. I look forward to each video so much.
I love lichen too ! I take photos of lichen and mosses and turkey tail mushrooms while walking in my woods, then frame close- ups of them for my wall--- nature's glorious art!
Fantastic subject of nature: am stitching first side of a rice bag while listening to your delightful witterings and at the same time I’m dreaming up my own nature project which I think will be based on the sand, sea and mountains of the Isle of Harris. I so enjoyed you talking about lichens; as a keen photographer I love taking images of tree and rock covered lichens but I didn’t know much about them: now I do. What fantastic amazing organisms. I absolutely love Fredfred who reminds me of my lovely old cat Cassie (full name Cassiopeia) who is no longer with us. I have had cats most of my adult life but can no longer have them because my little grandson is allergic to cat fur. Thank you Kathryn for being you and sharing your ideas and your thoughts and your new life with us. I’m sure I’m not the only one who considers you a friend, albeit a virtual one. ❤
Like you, I have always loved lichen and have been attempted to collect it and do something with it. Thanks for the information about this form of life. I am now glad that I have resisted collecting. I may go out and photograph a nice bit of it this afternoon after the grass dries out a bit and go from there with my stitches. Looking forward to this project using my "stuff."
It’s 4:30 AM in central US, can’t sleep so it so nice to watch your video. Love the tail, he is so purposeful with it. Your lichen piece is beautiful. Glad you and your fur babies are settling in, such a cute little house.
Love it love it love it! Love your piece so much k3n and how wonderful to hear that you’re feeling more of the authentic connection now you have the technology to stitch and upload so fast ⚡️ I loved so much hearing all of your knowledge on lichen. Almost every tree on our property is covered in lichen and many many rocks as well. It has been the source of many happy gazing and wondering sessions. You’ve answered questions I didn’t know I had 🤩 inside rocks!!! Mind blowing. I have been wondering about natural dyeing with it and am very happy to say that absolutely will not be happening now I know much more about it. Thank you 😊 Loved spending some time with Fredfred and bless dear Stella for her gentle way with the wee dog yesterday ❤ And yes crumpets 😋 honey is fabulous- my favourite equal is marmite. A very special first episode in your new home 🩷❤️ I also wanted to add that I wholeheartedly agree that stress can manifest in physical ways. I know this with every cell in my body. It is brilliant to hear this spoken and more brilliant your throat is clearer, let the words flow❤❤❤
One thing remarkable is all the love and credit you give to fellow stitch leaders, like Marion. This is how we all move forward, in the most noble sense❤️
K3N you're sounding much brighter this week

I am amazed at how you can take a small square of fabric and turn it into something as beautiful as this latest creation ❤
Thank you so much 😊
So lovely to hear you laughing and the giggle at the end. I really enjoyed watching this weeks project. 😊
Love to hear the happiness in your voice. Twelve years ago I started anew after twenty nine years married. It has been a nice adventure for me. Wishing you the best!
Lol Fred Fred. Thanks for the giggles which I badly needed❤
He's a character 🥰

Love this one! I had a cat, called Aron, who was very lovely but when he moved his tail like Fred Fred did you were in trouble 😅. Love Tineke
Yes, they often say it means a cat is angry but I think it's more nuanced than that 😊❤️
Stella is a star in so many ways! 💥💥💥💥I was touched that the other puppy recognized her sweet gentle heart and felt safe enough to play.
She is an absolute sweetheart. Yesterday evening she played gently with another little 5 month dachshund puppy. If anything, he was the boisterous one.. 😂❤️

Fred Fred is lucky he didn’t get his tail couched down. Thanks for another lovely video.👏👏
Moving too fast for me to stitch 😂❤️
The book of Francaise Tellier-Loumagne is wonderful! She is a great designer and her book about knitting is inspiring too. Do you also noticed Natalie Chanin (Alabama Studio Style)?

I don't know Natalie, I will look her up ♥️
Womderful dialogue. Very honeschool flavoured.
Art
Home/Life skills
Science
All combined into one hour
Glad you enjoyed it 😁❤️

I'm 'lichen' it too! You sound great - thank you for continuing to entertain us as you begin this new life.
So we are each other’s lichen 💕. Great stitching. Can’t ever have too much Fredfred x.
Yes we are❤️
I love this style of stitching. I also like listening to your stories and information on different subjects…. And I love, love, love hearing Stella’s ticking on the flooring of your new home. ❤️
I was thinking just that same thought! I love the click click of Stella,s paws along the floor; good cozy homey sounds. Makes my heart so glad

Me too Cathy ❤️
All hail the Tyrant Fred Fred! I am at the tail lashing part of the video and laughing aloud at his indignation! Lovely crusty stitching, can’t wait to try it!
He will get above himself if we start hailing him 😂❤️
Wonderful video, yet again. I love all your science-ey stuff. Keep it coming ❤❤❤
Hi Kathryn, I like this work. I also love the sound of Stella's paws an see Fredfred in the video. 🐕🐱👍🧡💐
26 times. You said “stuff” 😂. loved every one of them.
Thank you Randi, you win the prize of my undying admiration 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Love your whittering, much inspiration. Thank you Kathryn.
Fred Fred is adorable. Interesting project this week, I look forward to making mine. Thank you.
I'm rooting for the lichen on Mt Rushmore. Another lovely time spent with you. Thank you.
Yes, I didn't like to say but me too 😉❤️
Thank you for pointing out the slow growth and conservation of lichens. Misconceptions of lichens and mosses need ambassadors.
Yes, thank you they do indeed ❤️
So happy you 3 are adjusting. We enjoy the pitter patter of Stella and the Fredfred appearances!
Lots of love to you too Jan, you will live to a ripe old age with such DNA. Enjoy every moment ❤️
@k3n.clothtales I am very grateful to be blessed with life. Like you I find joy in creating and in nature. Gratitude really is the best medicine.❤️
Yes I remember Marion doing that. She often uses scrap materials or used items in her stitching. Marion is amazing 👏 her utube is Marion's World.
K3n mentions Marion's tree video and has linked her in this video.
Brilliant Kathryn just brilliant so good to hear you sounding more upbeat, here’s to a beautiful and better new life full of joy and new adventures. x 💐
I think you might enjoy the essay, "Ruskin and Lichen" by Kate Flint in The Courtauld
Ruskin wrote, "In one sense the humblest, in another they are the most honoured of the earth-children.
So beautiful! I can envision tiny glass beads scattered throughout like a constellation.
Yes that would be lovely ❤️
Aww, Fredfred is beautiful! So glad to hear you sounding more cheerful again.
Hi Jer so pleased you enjoyed it. Yes Fredfred certainly knows how to get his wishes across 😁♥️
Hello Susan, I am so pleased you enjoyed it. Yes Fredfred's tail is very expressive 😁❤️
This is so lovely.
Kathryn, today your librarian is showing!😊 thank you for teaching us about lichen, I had no idea! Bless you in your new home.
I know! I usually keep her filed away 😁♥️
I have no objection so Fredfred’s tail semaphore 😻
Gorgeous. Truly one of my favorite stitches you’ve done. Be well!
Who knew lichen was so great, I’m liking lichen.😊 great video😊
Thank you! 😊
Looking forward to doing this. From bits & stuff made something lovely.🙏
Thank you Angie 😊
Ypu sound so much happier this week! I am so glad that you are finally settled in your new home, with Stella, Fredfred, and all your STUFF 😂.
Thank you for the video, info on lichen (I haven't paid attention at school, but this is sooo interesting when you talk about it) and this slowstitching idea. Your piece turned out so beautiful ❤
I don't have time now for stitching but I enjoy watching you stitch and struggle with Fredfred's tail 😂
You are so welcome Becky, I do feel lighter. Thank you for being here ❤️
Thanks Kathryn. Went for a lovely walk along a lakes edge and gathered a few bits for my inspiration. Such a fun little project. Best wishes always.
Katherine, I really love your little house! It is charming and I'm sure it will be much loved over time. Thank you for showing us a glimpse of your new life.
I love the first video in your new home!! You sound well rested and happy. Rip rip Mike!!
Thank you Gloria, I always think of Mike when I rip cloth 😁♥️
Thanks
I like your way of couching. It is more reliable for me as the traditional diagonal stitch seems to “drift” for me. Glad I learned your way! 💜
Hi Kathryn, I so enjoy all of your videos. You are so knowledgable about so many things, thank you for sharing. It was lovely to hear that you are settling in and meeting neighbours.
Take care and stay safe and well. Love Bella ❤❤
Thank you for your lichen wisdom. Loved it 🤓
Oh Kathryn that was such a joy.
A lichen lawyer... I love the way your mind works 😁♥️
Enjoy your new home, and new adventures for you and your pets.
I often wake up in the morning with cramp from being sandwiched between Stella and Fredfred. Especially now with the single bed! 😂❤️
Lovely Kathryn,
Just thought to let you know that your podcast inspired me to make a little purse for my 13 year old granddaughter out of her baby blanket that literally went everywhere with her for years. If when visiting it was left behind a special trip would have to be made to retrieve it or she would not settle. I’m still working on it but thank you love your podcast and all your wittering. Blessings for your new life with your lovely pet babies👵🏼xx
That's such a lovely idea ❤️
We can get crumpets in Canada. I miss having a furry family member so it's nice to enjoy yours.
Love the sound of your tiny house, it sounds so romantic although I am sure it has its challenges ❤️
not minding the fred fred at all! Shows how talented you are that you can work around him!
I enjoy listening /watching, stitching along with you. I was taken by the lichen story and today noticed all the lichen on trees in my own yard. Saw it differently today. ..as a design to inspire a stitch piece. Took a few photos to look at for ideas🌞
May you be well and enjoy your new adventures💕
Yes we love FredFred ❤️ and like you will tolerate his behavior 👏 and find it quite amusing 😄 Stella we love you also❤ Stella seems well behaved and gentle ❤️
She really is ♥️
The sun is shining here this morning, so a wander into the autumn woods is called for. Thank you for another prompt x
Thank you Ann 🤗❤️
Kathryn, you are great to do this weekly project from your new home already!
Just wow! Love the lichen piece...wouldn't a bowl done like that, or a purse look just amazing?!
I look forward to creating my own piece to honor such. xo j
Thank you, I love that book, I have read it a few times. His way of looking at the world is inspirational ❤️
This looks so fun and meditative, I can’t wait to have a go. The original cloth you started so long ago is beautiful. It must hold so many memories too. As ever I love listening to you K3n, you’re like a point of re-rooting in maelstrom madness. I look forward to each video so much.
I’m excited to get inspired this week. I’m going for a 6 night stay in the Snowy Mountains (Australia) tomorrow and have a number of bush walks to do.
Hope you have a great time, sounds wonderful ❤️
I love lichen too ! I take photos of lichen and mosses and turkey tail mushrooms while walking in my woods, then frame close- ups of them for my wall--- nature's glorious art!
Who knew all that wonderful lichen info? 🤔 Thank you for sharing., I'm feeling so much smarter, this particular moment . 😂
Thank you Kathryn I so enjoyed watching this I to love lichen. Your chat was so interesting. 😊
One of my favourite books for many years. Stuff, I like the word, it can be all things and everything. Lovely piece.
Thank you Anne for being my friend ❤️
@@k3n.clothtales 🥰
Gorgeous! Looks like a vase with a fabulous arrangement! I've been in your situation. I'm so happy now. I hope you will be, too
Thank you so much! 😊
Love your piece so much k3n and how wonderful to hear that you’re feeling more of the authentic connection now you have the technology to stitch and upload so fast ⚡️
I loved so much hearing all of your knowledge on lichen. Thank you 😊
Loved spending some time with Fredfred and bless dear Stella for her gentle way with the wee dog yesterday ❤
And yes crumpets 😋 honey is fabulous- my favourite equal is marmite.
A very special first episode in your new home 🩷❤️
I also wanted to add that I wholeheartedly agree that stress can manifest in physical ways. I know this with every cell in my body.
It is brilliant to hear this spoken and more brilliant your throat is clearer, let the words flow❤❤❤
Thank you so much, I also love marmite 😁❤️
I was interested in the lichens discourse and all the rest of the "stuff".
