I hope you will forgive me for being personal, but I believe Michael would be so proud of how you are carrying on, being strong for yourself and your family, your love will sustain you. Thank you for the pleasure you give all of us, helping us also to get through our own life’s emotions. Bless you.
More fabulous stitching from my favourite stitcher. You don't realise just how much of a special person you are Marion. I had a stroke 6 years ago and I thought I would never sew again but because of you, today, I finished a small piece of embroidery that hangs in a hoop. It took me 2 months but I kept listening to your words and watching you stitch and it gave me the courage to have a go. I'm 61 years old and learnt to stitch as a child but I've never been so proud of a piece of my work than this. So thank you for coming in to my life and make things possible again. ❤ xxx
Oh my goodness.. that's so wonderful Debby! I'm so proud of you for accomplishing that and being able to stitch again after having a stroke. It shows how determined you must be to recover your movements and concentration. I'm honoured that you're giving me credit for helping but it's really all down to you! Such a lovely and moving message for me to read. Thank you so much. If you are on Instagram you could send me a photo. I'd absolutely love to see what you accomplished... You're a total Star 🌟
I had a stroke, twice, but i never started my design for crewel work-my R hand affected so i'm hope i can do this- i did it decades ago - but strokes gets away from simple things, day by day, slow down what you enjoyed your self.
Thank you dear Marion for being so candid with your emotions. You're so good in everything you do, including dealing with your emotions. Listening to you I'm learning more than stitching. You're a beautiful strong person. Thank you for taking the time to finish this colourful crewel page and for connecting with us through your chanel. You're a real treasure! ❤
Beautiful embroidery Marion. I have 2 cushion covers with very similar designs embroidered by my grandmother in the late 1960s. Still look beautiful 👏♥️🇦🇺
Thank you Marion. Another really lovely crewel embroidery session. The repurpasing of the cutlery box turned out perfect for holding the crewel wool. Wonderful to still have yarn from your Grandmother and even Great Grandmother, obviously you come from a long line of talented sewing ladies. Now look, you are inspiring thousands all around the World! ❤😊
Just beautiful Marion. Thank you for teaching us Crewel Work. I know Michael would be so proud of you sharing and enjoying your New Journey in the RUclips world and not sitting around doing nothing, not that you would, because we know you are not like that. You are very much loved by us all. Sending Huge Hugs from NZ xx💐🌹🌺
Exactly. I see those craft videos on Instagram that're about two minutes long, but they're kind of like fast food. They deal with an immediate craving, but ultimately don't satisfy that creative spirit in all of us that needs proper nourishment.
I am very glad that you have decided to not worry about Facebook’s wishes and make the longer videos anyway. I really feel that I get more out of them.
It's a balance between doing enough and managing to show enough too. I think I'm getting better at it.. I don't think there'd be much point in only posting one leaf or something... It'd take 6 months to post a completed page 😂
I wonder if RUclips realises that there are plenty of people who have patience and a robust attention span and will watch a longer video to the end. I'm sure Marion's viewers have.
Grieving is a process, Marion. And it's a different process for everyone. The loss of those people who are so loved leaves big holes in our lives that take time and patience to heal. Be as kind to yourself as Michael wants you to, and know that his love for you endures. As others have said, he is still with you, and though you may not be aware of it. he is sending you strength and comfort. You are passing through a dark time right now. Sometimes, this kind of dark is like a protective cocoon. I see the beautiful butterfly brooch that you made as a promise of your eventual emergence into the light. Meanwhile, you have the right to take all the time you need. And know that 35 thousand plus friends appreciate you, not only for your amazing talent, but also for your sweet spirit. You are loved.
Marion, I love crewel work and was so happy seeing someone bringing it back. 💕 I just want to say something about a comment you made. Don't ever feel bad about still being here on earth as your loved one has left. I understand, but think of it this way. Your creator took him first for a reason and had you stay knowing he has a purpose for you on this earth still. It may be bringing us all joy in your hand work or maybe something greater. Sending you 🙏🏻 and lots of gratitude for the joy you bring me through your hand work💕💕💕💕💕
This page is the star, Marion. My favourite parts are oak leaves and nuts but that said, the blooms are gorgeous. Don't know how you do so much, so well! Just don't stretch yourself too far, we are happy to see and hear about anything you turn your hand to.
Bless your heart, Marion! You give us so much of your time and talent with your wonderful videos. I love and appreciate them all, long or short. Your crewel work is stunning! I really like that you are not afraid to try anything (well maybe not skydiving or car racing….wink, wink😉). May peace surround your heart.
I love the couched flower idea !! I’m sorry about your husband’s loss & anniversary time..happening so close together. Our life transitions are so hard, I lost mine in 2017, & it feels strange to outlive him by so long. I look forward to your room changes, it’s smart that you keep busy during this time, I feel it will help. Hugs & thanks for your beautiful work ! 🧵🪡💙
Thanks Susan. I know it happens to us all in the end... But it seemed I should say something as I'm here on video every week..😏 Keeping busy is definitely what I do... Having said that... it's just what led to me having this channel..🙂
I’m just completely hooked watching you stitch Marion, your work is so beautiful. Thank you for sharing your work and daily life with us, I just wish I knew you in person x
Marion, your artwork and needle work is absolutely splendid and you have taught me so much! I have a kawandi because of you, made of fabrics from sewing projects from clothing I made for my children 30,40 years ago, and you have inspired me to try my hand at embroidery with all of your glorious projects-- thank you for all that you share❤
That's great. Thank you for letting me know. I've gone with just two, hopefully placed so that the main part of the video is still uninterrupted. I'm hoping it makes a difference for me 🤞
Hi Marion!.. thanku for another really great vidio x I have so enjoyed watching you do the crewel embroidery it's exquisite!.. I'm definately going to try a small peice with some of what I've seen you do in this project. I'm always inspired by you x everything you make is so lovely x the way you make things seem so much simpler cos of the way you explain things step by step it's just so easy to learn from you. I can't wait to see what your next project will be. Please never feel bad or silly for the way you feel. I lost my beuatiful husband in 2015 x I have only gotten by by taking it a day at a time, get through today x worry about tomorow when it comes so I just try to stay as busy as I can and my husband always loved to see my next painting or my next sewing projelct or my latest journal I made he was always saying how he loved whatever I did x he was always proud of me he knew the problems I have x he was always there to help me through things x I helped him too cos we were a team x we always helped each other x always were togeather no matter what, we did everything togeather x I honestly didn't know how to go on living my life without him so that's why I just take one day at a time cos it never gets any easier but you do learn how to stay busy x work through things. I know no matter what I'm doing he's always close by me x that gives me comfort x I think your husband would be so proud of how you inspire people to try things they thought would be too hard to do but you make it seem so simple x you reach so many people so of course he would be so proud of you x is with you in everything you do every day so he's always near to you. Don't ever feel that how you are feeling is silly cos it'd not at all we all feel the same when we've lost someone very special but I know it helps me so much to watch your vidios x be inspired to not give up but keep going x to try something new x I thank you for that so much. Godbless you x please don't stop doing your wonderful vidios as I for one would be lost without them to watch x inspire me x I doubt very much that I'm the only one who feels that way either we all apreciate you very much so Godbless you x thanku...
Thank you so much for this lovely message of support Linda. We were definitely a team too. Helping each other when we needed it... Keeping busy is exactly how I've managed. Goodness knows what I'd be like now if I hadn't had my sewing to channel all of the emotions into.... Getting lost in creating has been a relief at times and continues to be so..
Hello Marion. Thank you so much for demonstrating the Bayeux stitch, which I think is really underrated, despite being easy to do. And the effects it gives are so rewarding. Some years ago I used this stitch to create a tree similar to those in the tapestry. One of my grandsons was doing the Norman Conquest at the time and asked if he could take it in to show his class. It has since become a “prop” in the school when covering this subject - not just the “arrow in the eye” bit, much loved of small boys. I then made a second one for a dear friend who was an archeologist. And finally made a third, just for me, which I am very proud of. But the use you made of left over wool is such a unique method and the final result was exquisite. Definitely something I will be doing in a future project. This whole crewel work piece has been an absolute joy to watch - and what a finale!!! Bravo!
Thanks so much Angela. I wondered if I'd get a comment about my unorthodox use of threads when I did the Bayeux stitch... I agree it's so simple yet it just doesn't get used... That's partly why I've done this crewelwork page. To show how much more there is than just the usual suspects!😊🪡🧵 So brilliant about your grandson taking some in for his project too... What a joy!
Marion i wish you were my neighbor! I’d join you in with the fun and would bring you cake of course! Everything you do is so lovely ❤ many hugs from Provence, Adrien
@@carolinereynolds2032 that would be a better option with a flight or a couple of trains to get to the UK then more public transportation and a visa is needed these days even for just some holidays. Doable, sure, but getting quite expensive compared to years past. I’m much closer to Italy and Spain to give you an idea. You must be confusing with Brittany or Normandy 😉
@@partyfiesta1557 Adrien my geography was never very good. All I know about France is what I read in A Year In Provence, and that was a long time ago. I could probably get there just as easily as you and wouldn't need a visa. Well we can still watch Marion's videos, she has a way that makes it seem that she is with you.
Thank you Marion, I know it's a lot of hard work for you. A lot of your viewers will be struggling with lifes difficulties and you make such a difference. I hope that we can put a happy smile on your lovely face and heart also. Here I am rambling on from France 😂
Thank you for your message Les. It's not hard work though. I'm always enjoying it... I just wish I was quicker at doing the bits at the PC.... The editing and all that stuff. I've had to learn a lot of things that are way out of my usual remit!
It is not daft to think that loosing your husband should be allowed. I think many people feel that way or just fear it. I certainly do. Give yourself the time you need to get on your feet again ❤️ Your crewel embroidery is just beautiful🫶🏻. I went thrifting this week and got some more wool embroidery yarn and I really enjoy organising it, and looking at it - as well as using it. Thank you, dear Marion🌺🌷❤️🥰
They're just such perfect storage for threads. I try to be as plastic free as possible. Obviously it's nigh on impossible these days..but something like this is an easy choice for me. When you can find one they're usually very cheap because mostly people can't think of what they're useful for..
@@marionsworld24Brillianr idea. I relocated from Alaska to Nevada a few years ago. A lovely couple bought our home there; I’d worked with the wife, who had recently lost her mom, a beloved pet, and some other sadness. I ended up leaving many things with her, because she is also an artist and I didn’t have any more room in the trailer we were bringing to Nevada. So, she ended up with my box of flatware (which still had the flatware in it) AND all of my embroidery flosses and fabrics including some lovely linen. I’d not missed ANY of those things, since 2019, which is when we moved, until finding your channel, Marion. Now, I’m keen to go thrifting and see what I can find to replace some of those things. Watching you work, reminds me of how much I enjoy the feeling of floss, fabric, and fiber in my hands… how peaceful and calming that is… I might have one or two works in progress around here that I can dig out and work on in the meantime. Your work is absolutely gorgeous. Peace to you, as you endure the waves of emotions that ebb and flow, now that you’re on your own. 😊
You are a great teacher. Thank you so much for sharing your experience. And your creativity: it is truly joyful to see what you create. As Her Late Majesty put it: grief is the price we pay for love. ❤❤❤
I loved the way you've organised your wools. I have inherited quite a lot of crewel wools from my husband's grandmother and I also have a lot of tapestry wools accumulated over the years that I need to organise. So you've definitely given me some ideas. 😊
I missed preceding videos! I'm going to go back and catch up. I love watching you stitch and listening to the words from your heart. Thank you for making this video and inviting us in. You are held dear in many, many hearts, Marion. Love from California ❤
Thank you so much for sharing your passions with us, you bring so much joy with such art and dedication! It's magnificent heart lifting Marion! I'm in East of Canada but I migrate from South America, Chile. Where I was so used to tea time with lovely cakes and little sandwiches... Here it's so different but still lovely the same. Big hugs! 🤗💞
Beautiful crewel embroidery. It is so enjoyable and soothing to watch you work. I stopped embroidering because long and short stitches, and satin stitches always came out exactly wrong. Watching this, I know what I need to do in the future. As to your comment, “it shouldn’t be allowed,” when referring to your deceased husband, it wasn’t daft. I have said the same, especially about children dying before their parents. I can’t imagine that you and I are the only two people who’ve ever felt that way. ❤
Thank u again.when u loose someone u dnt"just get over it" you learn to live a bit differently. You are sharing so much with us and if you dnt feel u can do a video thats not a problem❤
I'm really enjoying the crewel work and I'm slowly catching up. I had to wait a couple of weeks for my ordered crewel wool to arrive in the post. As with any craft hobby, the wool is very expensive. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of these type of materials making it onto the shelves of my local thrift shops. Although I did gey lucky two years ago with loads of dmc and anchor embroidery threads, so I can't complain, but they were a rare find. I decided to go with your downloaded template for the overall design, though my colour pallette is not quite the same as yours. However, your tutorial on stitches is so well explained that it is looking really pleasing. Thank you and big hugs. I know what you you're going through and I promise it gets a little less painful as the years go by. 😊
That is beautiful Marion, I especially like your little tribute to Boo. I always pottery paint a Christmas bauble in memory of my lost pets. Biggest hugs xx
Simply Lovely Marion! I enjoy watching your videos so much! You are a wonderful Artist and such a patient Teacher. I feel so inspired and peaceful working along with you. Just like I am sitting across the way, chatting and stitching. You have taught me how to forgive my mistakes by turning them into something beautiful, instead of just pulling them out. 🤗 Thank you!
Hi Marion. This piece is so very beautiful! And I started using your concept of "auditioning " my thread and my stitching has improved tremendously! Thank you for that tip. Hope you have a lovely day!
Another beautiful page, Marion ❤. I'm diligently following along with supplies I have... "crafting cord" is chunky and doesn't split down very well, but the results are satisfying. I went into a craft store this weekend, and they had a basket of assorted crewel wool, so I grabbed a dozen or so to add to my supplies 😂. The wool blends nicely compared to the cotton cord. I'm so enjoying stitching along with you!!❤ I can hardly wait to see what you have for us next week ❤🤗❤
I save my wool thread ends for the birds to put into nests. I have some hung up in a net bag on the washing line. This embroidery is beautiful, well done you!
Looking so beautiful, loving watching you stitch this.❤❤❤enjoying your work while keeping an eye on the hurricane news and hoping my friends will be ok, may Mother Nature show mercy ❤.
Oh keeping our fingers crossed over here too. We've seen all the preparations and the roads packed with cars leaving for safety. Our news has been updating what's going on all the time.. 🙏
Im number 126 today.Agree with tother 125 and am gointo be personel.Really like your natural nails No distraction.First we are delighted by the threads boxs.....thanks sister....now we are bedazzled by Grandmas Worsteds. My organising is at the ..stirring it around level...It can wait whilst i soak up the left hand wonders today
Hermosa caja e hilos de tu abuela, me encanta Boo entre la naturaleza mágica del bordado, saludos desde una España calurosa que no quiere bajar las temperaturas 😅
Thank you so much for teaching us this type work. I’ve enjoyed it so much. At times I did have doubt about your decisions because I have trouble getting my mind to think outside the box. I just love the final results. ~ Janet 😘
I'm glad you stuck with it Janet.. Crewel doesn't have to be this style. In fact I have something on the go with a more contemporary look to it. Not sure when it will be posted though...
I hope you don’t mind me saying g but I think Michael would be pleased so pleased knowing that you have all these friends even if we are RUclips friends keeping you company.❤️ your delightful and you make my day so much nicer just listening and watching your beautiful projects. Thanks you so much many hugs 🇨🇦
It is not daft to think it should not be allowed to loose ones husband (or wife). It is something I think many people feel or fear. I know I fear it 😢. So take your time to “get back up” again❤️❤️❤️. Your crewel work is so beautiful. I went thrifting this week, and bought some extra colors of wool - some tapestry wool, and have enjoyed arranging the new colors. Just looking at my embroidery thread makes me so happy. Take care, dear Marion🌺🌷❤️🥰
So on my workshop I enjoyed crewel session, I’ve lots to complete, and was introduced to the stitch bank, your videos assist me greatly, I was the most beginner of beginners but embraced it. Thinking the basic cross stitch from infant school was my limit, but giving it a go. I fan watch your videos assist me and I’m greatful for that . X
I finally finished by Jacobean Embroidery page, took me a little longer but it was very enjoyable to make. Thank you for all your ideas. I've learned a lot from watching your videos.
The only experience I have of doing crewel work was from a kit I did ages and ages ago. I'm so thrilled to see how varied and adaptable it can be. Some of those stitches definitely are worth taking to other projects. I hope some much younger people are savingvthese videos as I can imagine you living on many decades after we're all safely somewhere else. Love the finished page. ❤🎉
I am just taking a moment to let you know how much I enjoyed your crewel work. For your next challenge, I vote for something a little more difficult. TTFN
Hi Marion. Thank you so much for this wonderful month of crewelwork, I think it is my favourite! Also, I can completely relate tot your reaction on anniversary of your late husband. My husband died at 51, which is absurd, but that is life for you, apparantly. Take care and I can't wait to see the embroidery for October!
Marion, I’ve loved the Jacobean crewel work and I’m looking forward to your next page in this beautiful book. I was trying to think what you haven’t done yet. There’s blackwork, but that requires even weave fabric. Also the pulled thread work. I never know what you will tackle next! Thank you so much for breaking the boundaries of my imagination!😊
Very nice work, Marion. Hugs and 🙏 also from me! You bring joy and motivation to us as you do your magical and magnificent stitching. ❤ from USA💐♥️💐🙋♀️
Goodness! What a beautiful page! LOVE LOVE all the colors! I think I may add a squirrel but I have to figure out how to make it the proper size. Thank you again for another amazing page!♥️
Thank you Marion for your video and company as ever. It is 4 am and it is one of those nights where sleep eluded me🙄. I was just thinking how I was going to store crewel threads and by magic Marion solves it, much nicer than my plastic tub. Using your jar thread for the last flower worked out so well. I have been practicing hard so I can start the kit and do it justice. Procrastination I hear you say (probably).😂 I know this point in the year is more difficult for you lovely but please know we all are sending you loving thoughts and I bet Michael is watching you with the biggest smile on his face at all the joy you are bringing us. October is a difficult month for me so I am off down to the beach as soon as it gets light (heaven knows what will come back in my foraging bag) tourists have gone so it is lovely and quiet ,just the waves. Sending you hugs from East Sussex 🤗🤗
There's something wonderfully soothing about being alone on the beach. I always come back with pockets full of bits and pieces. Thank you for your lovely message Carol. Sending peaceful thoughts to you from all the way up here too. 🌊🌊🌊
Marion, you make me look so forward to your next video!! I hope that you don’t ware yourself out! We actually need for you to take good care of yourself!! I really love this stitching and now I need to find tons of crewel yarns! That should be fun! I just found out that the new little town that I’m moving to has a weekly flea market (I think it’s a bit like a boot sale) but only in the warmer months because it snows! Now I will be cozy stitching in the cold months! Yay! You are amazing! If the world was like you it wouldn’t have any troubles! 💕Donna
Good luck finding some wools to stitch with Donna. I must admit to liking the wet wintery days as I don't have to make an excuse to stay inside with my sewing...
After reading some of the beautiful meaningful messages from other subscribers I can't think of anything that I could add. You are a very special person who has a big heart with so much to give. I enjoyed today's visit with you.❤
I hope you will forgive me for being personal, but I believe Michael would be so proud of how you are carrying on, being strong for yourself and your family, your love will sustain you. Thank you for the pleasure you give all of us, helping us also to get through our own life’s emotions. Bless you.

This Jacobean needlework page was such a joy to watch. I loved seeing all of the different stitches and your use of all the colors. Thank you so much.

I don't think I'll ever be able to make shorter videos... however RUclips definitely doesn't like it when they're too long!

🩷 & orange 🧡!! Love that combo. Your page is simply divine 😍
Thanks. Sometimes it's good to be brave with colour choice 😊
So sorry about Michael.. Sending love hugs and prayers.
Love your tutorials ... Thanks for sharing so much of your time. Beautiful work!! Take Care ❤
To show how much more there is than just the usual suspects!😊🪡🧵
So brilliant about your grandson taking some in for his project too... What a joy!
Love the new use of the box. Organizing makes me happy. Blessings
Me too... They don't always stay like that but at least it's something to aim for ☺️
@@marionsworld24 true. I love the crewel work you have been doing. Lovely.
Marion i wish you were my neighbor! I’d join you in with the fun and would bring you cake of course! Everything you do is so lovely ❤ many hugs from Provence, Adrien
😅 I'm always happy to share tea and cake..👍
@@marionsworld24 you made my day!
Provence? Isn't that just a train ride under the channel away? You could visit. Caroline, Australia. 😂
The little cat is so darn cute!
🐈 Tiny but mighty 😊
Thank you Marion, I know it's a lot of hard work for you. A lot of your viewers will be struggling with lifes difficulties and you make such a difference. I hope that we can put a happy smile on your lovely face and heart also. Here I am rambling on from France 😂
Thank you for your message Les. It's not hard work though. I'm always enjoying it... I just wish I was quicker at doing the bits at the PC.... The editing and all that stuff. I've had to learn a lot of things that are way out of my usual remit!
Marion you’re an amazing artist, and I think that Michael would be so proud of you. Love your videos ! Thanks for sharing. 🪡🧵♥️
Love your embroidery and videos. I'll have to get my kit out of the cupboard and start working on it.
Oh how lovely! I have enjoyed watching you stitch. I think Boo is so cute! Glad you added her.
Me too 🐈
It is not daft to think that loosing your husband should be allowed. I think many people feel that way or just fear it. I certainly do. Give yourself the time you need to get on your feet again ❤️
Your crewel embroidery is just beautiful🫶🏻. I went thrifting this week and got some more wool embroidery yarn and I really enjoy organising it, and looking at it - as well as using it. Thank you, dear Marion🌺🌷❤️🥰
💐💐💐🌿
The cutlery box has found a new life, it’s wonderful! 😊. The crewel embroidery is gorgeous and will look amazing in your journal, thank you Marion 💕
💐💕
Your page looks amazing and magical! Thank you for all your creativity ❤
💐
Yay new techniques, I enjoy learning from you. Thank you very much.😊❤❤❤
I loved the way you've organised your wools. I have inherited quite a lot of crewel wools from my husband's grandmother and I also have a lot of tapestry wools accumulated over the years that I need to organise. So you've definitely given me some ideas. 😊
I keep my tapestry wools in a little shopping basket on my shelves. The colours look so pretty..
I missed preceding videos! I'm going to go back and catch up. I love watching you stitch and listening to the words from your heart. Thank you for making this video and inviting us in. You are held dear in many, many hearts, Marion. Love from California ❤
Thanks so much Kristie.. The Stitch Journal playlist is on my homepage ☺️
Thank you for your thoughtful explaining during this tutorial. I enjoyed this Jacobean crewel work. ❤
I hope you are being kind to yourself yourself I could watch you for hours they are like a warm cozy hug ❤

Love this project 💕 I have never done crewel work but watching you makes me enter in the world of Crewel embroidery, thank you Marion 💕 💕
I'm sure you'll enjoy it!🪡
Beautiful Marion. Love the organised crewel wools. How satisfying.
I'm glad I got the box done ☺️
Your box turned out awesome! I kind of like the old look on the outside. Another nice and relaxing episode Marion! Thank you for sharing!❤
Love the crewel work page !!!
Big hugs! 🤗💞
☕ and 🍰 yummy
Beautiful crewel embroidery. It is so enjoyable and soothing to watch you work. I stopped embroidering because long and short stitches, and satin stitches always came out exactly wrong. Watching this, I know what I need to do in the future. As to your comment, “it shouldn’t be allowed,” when referring to your deceased husband, it wasn’t daft. I have said the same, especially about children dying before their parents. I can’t imagine that you and I are the only two people who’ve ever felt that way. ❤
I'm sure we're not Lettie. I've found it more difficult lately though.
@@marionsworld24 Sending warm thoughts and hugs your way.
Thank u again.when u loose someone u dnt"just get over it" you learn to live a bit differently. You are sharing so much with us and if you dnt feel u can do a video thats not a problem❤
I am so encouraged by this work, it’s beautiful. Thank you so much for showing us.
Beautiful crewel work,Marion, and Boo was a perfect addition. Thanks again for showing us another skill.🥰
A stunning page Marion just like everything else you do , love little Boo at the bottom ❤

Hello Marion, thank you for sharing all the beautiful work . I am really enjoying every single minute.

That makes me glad to hear...
Hi Marion. This piece is so very beautiful! And I started using your concept of "auditioning " my thread and my stitching has improved tremendously! Thank you for that tip. Hope you have a lovely day!
That's good to hear Joanne. Sometimes a simple thing can make a big difference!
That’s gives me an idea with my cutlery box I have. I could make something useful out of it. I just love your crewel work. You are so talented Marion.
They're just such good boxes and they look a whole lot better than plastic ones on display
Your wooden box with the wool embroidery thread is yummy Eye Candy!
Definitely.. I love to see them all waiting for me to choose from..
Sounds like you've got it sussed Sheila 😊
Absolutely beautiful work Marion! I’m in awe of your work ❤
Ms.Marion, The frame work definitely helps ❣️ My satin stitches aren't wonky like they usually are 😄 God Bless
That's great Anna. I'm pleased I was able to help ☺️
I save my wool thread ends for the birds to put into nests. I have some hung up in a net bag on the washing line.
This embroidery is beautiful, well done you!
Thank you 😊
Absolutely fabulous! 👏👏Love it. Take loving care of yourself, Marion, you’re a wonderful person ❤

So beautiful! Love the thread ends and just all of it ❤❤
Oh Wow ! that is so beautiful Marion. Thankyou for all your time and effort. I can only do chain stitch, but was so inspired !
If you follow along you'll get to practice all of the stitches... I started in January with simple running stitch and have continued from that 😊
Looking so beautiful, loving watching you stitch this.❤❤❤enjoying your work while keeping an eye on the hurricane news and hoping my friends will be ok, may Mother Nature show mercy ❤.

Your crewel page is looking great. I’m definitely going to try this soon. Can’t wait to your next video.
Thanks so much. It's been enjoyable to stitch it too.
Thank you Lizette. I've been known to do a happy dance at the looks of my arrangement of threads!
Thank you Cinzia. 💐
What is there to say other than Beautiful!! ❤
What a beautiful page Marion x
😊💐
So on my workshop I enjoyed crewel session, I’ve lots to complete, and was introduced to the stitch bank, your videos assist me greatly, I was the most beginner of beginners but embraced it.
Thinking the basic cross stitch from infant school was my limit, but giving it a go. I fan watch your videos assist me and I’m greatful for that . X
You're on the way now though Hels. Onwards and upwards with stitching you go..
Yes it does indeed. Thanks Marion.
The end result is beautiful. I like the cat🐱👍🧡💐

I finally finished by Jacobean Embroidery page, took me a little longer but it was very enjoyable to make. Thank you for all your ideas. I've learned a lot from watching your videos.
Glad you enjoyed it Judy 🧵🪡
The only experience I have of doing crewel work was from a kit I did ages and ages ago. I'm so thrilled to see how varied and adaptable it can be. Some of those stitches definitely are worth taking to other projects. I hope some much younger people are savingvthese videos as I can imagine you living on many decades after we're all safely somewhere else. Love the finished page. ❤🎉
Crikey..the thought of it 😱
AND Boo as a fullstop....purr purr.

I am just taking a moment to let you know how much I enjoyed your crewel work. For your next challenge, I vote for something a little more difficult. TTFN
Oh I haven't quite decided yet. I'm aware of not doing something I think will put people off from trying...
Absurd.. I totally relate to that comment too. 💐💐💐
Love, love, love your couching experiment!(❤
Me too! I'll be getting in trouble for not stitching it properly!😅
Super beautiful. Love it. And Boo too.
Only three pages to go...
I have absolutely loved this thank you so much for sharing your beautiful needle work and wonderful chatty company. 💜

magnifique travail Mme Marion!!!
Very nice work, Marion. Hugs and 🙏 also from me! You bring joy and motivation to us as you do your magical and magnificent stitching. ❤ from USA💐♥️💐🙋♀️
💐
Goodness! What a beautiful page! LOVE LOVE all the colors! I think I may add a squirrel but I have to figure out how to make it the proper size. Thank you again for another amazing page!♥️
☺️
That's absolutely delightful.
