- Join us as we head over to Denmark to experience Bakken Amusement Park, located 10 kilometre away from Copenhagen inKlampenborg. Bakken is the oldest amusement park in the world dating back to 1583, the park is now home to over 30 rides including 6 roller coasters. In this vlog we take a look around the popular amusement park, along with riding the fantastic selection of attractions on offer at Bakken, mixed in with plenty of laughs it's one of our most action packed vlogs to date!

My personal favorite ride is Mine Train Ulven. The first drop, in the back, is absolutely crazy. It gives amazing laterals and airtime
I would love to be able to go to all of these different theme parks, as they look insane!

I loved watching this vlog again and it is such a nice old Amusement park and I do hope you will come back to it in the future with some friends. PS Chris rocks. I prefer old Amusement parks and old theme parks because I love there rides and there theming.

Definitely reminds me of Winter Wonderland. Maybe it's places like this that gave them their inspiration.

Great Vlog ..Absolutely agree with you Shawn, one of the best parks around, I notice they've added a new train to the woodie which had a brakeman sat in the back of the train last time I visited and also new cars on racing and the other old classic car ride has had new cars added. Also one of the best ghost trains around, don't know if it still has live actors which would jump on the front of the train and be staring you in the face at certain points during the ride. Not a big fan of Tornado, probably one of the most uncomfortable coasters I have ever ridden but still one of my top parks.. also if you keep going for another 5 minutes at the end of the forest, when returning to the station you end up at the seaside .. very nice !

I'm glad you had a great time there and that the ghost train is still packing a punch. Another of my favourite parks is Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk .. well worth visiting .. also Belmont Park which I also enjoyed your Vlog during your visit ... happy coastering ! :-)

Quick Question to anyone: I'm going to Thorpe in August and want to know is there a seperate queue ror front row on any of the big rollercoasters (Swarm, Stealth, SAW, Nemesis Inferno, Colossus)
Just watched this vlog as the park makes an appearance on the Danish version of Taskmaster. Hope you get to go there again.

A tip for you if you plan to visit Denmark again... have you thought about trying Djurs sommerland? It's quite far away from Copenhagen but it may be worth a visit

was planning a 2 day trip to alton towers with some friends who aren't really into the big coasters, might scrap it in favour of the combo of this and tivoli gardens which seems like it could be better (and cheaper!) thanks for the video

Other great Danish amusement parks include Fårup, LEGOland and Djurs, but those are all in Jutland.
some more info to you guys , you did past some houses . They where part of new project in bakken . it is about a old danish tv show called Matador

It's called "Korsbæk on Bakken" and believe it or not but that area has been under development for more than 30 years and they just recently got green light. Building new stuff at Bakken can take years, even decades!
Anyone notice at 32:22 7 Years was playing?? I didn't realise it was popular that early in Denmark!! Nearly a year on!!

Old time american folk music uses spoons. Also I was curious where it started. According to Wikipedia many countries used them but it started in England. So much for it being a Copenhagen tradition. :)

Extreme is a Speed Flip model ride . There use to be a Speed Flip at Hayling Island Funland

Like you have never interrupted anybody before. Like he said, he gets excited, we all do at parks, and he probably didn't even realise he was doing it.

Hkthemepark10s Stealth is more intense, Saw is good, but is currently not in operation after the tragic accident on the smiler.

I'm not a first time rider though I have ridden the likes of shamba furious baco but honestly just love thirteen

When trying mine track ulven you should go sit in the back seat because it’s much faster there, when sitting in the front it’s kinda boring, to be honest.
