It’s such a brilliant ride. We wish that on ride filming was allowed on more of the rides at Universal, especially dark rides!

Loved this vlog, really enjoyed and look forward to more vlogs in future. Hoping we get a few rides from Orlando in the UK park & resort, not loads, but some. As want the US & UK resorts to be more different from each other, would love to see a Back to the Future coaster added? With the 80 mph would be epic, speeding us riders through time from future back to the past? Be epic, would love to see a Jurassic World or Park land in Universal GB park, maybe a coaster like Island of Adventures? But not a clone, but a unique layout? I do suspect that UK one will maybe be Island of Adventures & Studios park mixed into one? Leaving space for an additional park maybe being one completely different? Hoping more an original story park with IP's like London Resort were & are planning? Hoping by the way we hear more about Universal GB. Be quite epic if does happen in Bedfordshire? Cannot wait, 😀👍

One of the many attractions that I sadly never got to experience was A Day in the Park with Barney at the former Woody Woddpecker Kidzone area, which is where the new Dreamworks area will be. Did you ever get to see this show at all before it closed permanently 4 years ago, Shawn? According to some sources, all of the Barney, BJ, and Baby Bop costumes from the attraction were surrendered to Mattel (the company that now owns the Barney franchise). Given the terrible condition the suits were in by the end of the attraction's lifespan, it's unlikely they've kept them, unless they've contacted Scollon Productions (Scollon is the primary manufacturer for Barney costumes to this day) to extensively restore them. But regarding whether or not Mattel still has any Barney costumes in history, did you know they still have the final Barney costume used on the show as well as the little dinos themselves, Shawn?

Just seeing you in Simpsons Land that used to be Back to the Future. When we were there Michael J Fox was there for some reason, and I creeped my way to the front and shook his hand. My mum still has a picture of my hand that I shook with him, not of me shaking his hands, just my hand 🤣

It's always sad to hear or think about ride experiences closing or being replaced. I think the parks should try as much as possible to keep and preserve all the existing rides, and if they want to build new ones, then fine, go ahead and do that on new unused land where possible.

Great place to first view the parade but not a great catching spot. The beads collecting improved when you moved. Great floats. Entertaining and those stilts walkers are amazing.

Sean, you may actually get your wish for a BTTF coaster (sort of) when Starfall Racers opens. Rumor is that the coaster trains may have a flux capacitor 😊

I want on back to the future ride in 1997 when I was 10 it was the best ride ever and was such a shame they shut it. I just remember thinking we have nothing like this in the UK. Shaun and Charlotte you would have loved it

You can also wear a small bum bag on all rides other than Rip Ride Rocket, The Hulk & the Velocicoaster.

I have been in it back then on 2 trips to Florida ! Epic ride 10/10, have also been again when they changed it to the Simpsons ride, totally destroyed it IMO ! What a shame ☹️

Have a great time. We never usually hire a car in Orlando however we stayed at Rosen Inn Lake Buena Vista and also Disney’s All Star Movies this time!
I got to experience the original park attractions back In 1993 and I not been to USF since 2011 as I feel it’s a shadow of its former self. Except the Harry Potter area which does look better than the Jaws area every other ride they replaced hasnt been as good as the original. Biggest ever mistake was replacing Earthquake/Disaster and the Beetlejuice show with that awful fast and furious ride. I love IOA as that park has lost some rides like Duelling dragons it’s replacement looks a excellent ride and the rest of the attractions are nearly still the same since opening day with the new rides/areas been built on unused land. So happy Steve Spielberg put his foot down and told them if they ever got rid of ET or failed to maintain it then he will pull all his IP out of the parks.

Rip ride will close later this year, and plans are to replace it with a Simpson coaster i believe

The simping for disney is kinda pathetic. Universal is FAR cheaper than Disney when it comes to food. So yeah, WAY off on that. And I've lived in central FL since 2012 and visit both very often.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Based on what we eat at the parks, we found Disney to be cheaper this time!
