I had the shock of my life when I went on Black Buccaneer at Chessington! I got on, then it said that it was the highest rocking ship in Britain! I'm only small, so if I had've let go I sware I would've fallen out!

I went on Thursday and I didn't manage to get on splash canyon or Storm Force ten. However I love how Apocalypse and Shockwave never get a queue.

I am going on wednesday with some friends. Drayton Manor was my first theme park 2 years ago and maelstrom was my first ride. Maelstrom is still my favourite ride of all time

***** Thank you so much, it was really busy with school trips but I finally got to go on air race, shockwave and Pandemonium. Now I think I have been on all the rides at least once (Excluding Thomas Land, that's too hardcore for me)

music joe12 Well, they were huge, but that was because of school trips, they had a warning on their website when i booked but I ignored it. I think all school trips are done now, and from past experiences, queues are either short or appear long but due to the rides high capacities, go down fast. You shouldn't have a problem getting on all the rides you want in one day

I went on Storm Force 10 today and the que started outside the entrance but we waited 1 and a half hours and went on it.

I need some advice! My school is going to Drayton Manor for the end of year trip. I'm 12 and my first roller coaster was the other day, The Millennium at Fantasy Island, Ingoldmells. Which rides should I try?

I would definitely agree with u there. I love Maelstrom and I would also love 2 c 1 of them in Alton Towers real soon. The last time I went 2 Drayton Manor, I went on Maelstrom 8 times in a row - coming off and then going straight on. Lol. What's the most times everyone has risen Maelstrom in a row at Drayton Manor?

No! It's prided on being the only stand up in Europe, if it was floorless what would be the unique selling point?
Themeparkviewers Stand ups are known for being painful. If they changed it to a floorless (like Mantis to Rougarou at Cedar Point) it would be the 3rd floorless in Europe and 1st in the UK. It would be a nice change around.
Nah, it's been stand up for 21 years... they will never get rid of the stand up trains, would be disgraceful, I love this ride!
Its made by intamin anyway and intamin dont make floorless rollercoasters

Its sad how drayton has fallen into a bit of a tailspin in terms of their rides now, i fear that them going the family route could end up dropping attendance to an unsustainable level. I hope im wrong but if they take out shockwave it might spell the end. Again i hope im wrong and its great to see the park when it was much different, i have never visited so im just going off of what information i could find available.
It’ll be interesting to see what they have planned next!
