Ahh this brings back so many memories! I remember going here in 2008 with my family and my friend. We went on the roller coaster, log flume and Mulan so many times I lost count! :'D Watching this makes me want to go back! love your vlogs Shawn! :D
That brings back childhood memories for me there on the snails down in the other park matey. I used to ride them every year as Great Yarmouth was our annual holiday destination as a family from the age of about 7 year old so that's 39 years ago now. The old woody was the first coaster I rode and my mam and dad had to ask a stranger to take me on with them who was going on as they didn't like rides. I also remember we used to stay in the old vauxhall caravan park which was right at the end of the pleasure beach past the old coaster which used to be themed as snow capped mountains. We used to sit up and watch the lights switching off on the coaster as well at the end of every night. Thanks for the memories and keep the good work up with the blogs.
This is my local park and I used to love going there. I know live in New Zealand and love the vlog as it helps me to stay updated on the park. Great job. Keep up the good work!
Happy memories watching this, I went to Great Yarmouth every year from the early 80s to 1994. Haven't been back since, Roller Coaster was my first Roller Coaster, My favourite was Bad and the Condor :-)
parents: why are you closing your door? what do you have to hide? me: I've been watching Theme Park Worldwide for 6 hours, I was trying to be considerate. ((somebody please stop me :'D))
I rode familystar back in 2006. It was a roller coaster on the travel here in germany and first owned by the showman Wolfgang Wingender who owns now a little family park. nice to see it in action.
I lived in Yarmouth for several years and went to the Pleasure beach practically 24/7, my NO.1 Ride is still the log flume to this day, I recently went back for a week earlier this year loved it forgot how great it was, still love how its got the free entry too it's still very rare is that kinda thing in today's age of theme parks! - Bradley
I remember coming to Great Yarmouth with family and friends when I was very young, stayed in Haven back in the 00's. Most of my childhood was spent riding twister and eating chocolate dipped icecream whilst we watched the rollercoaster go by. Disco and Mulan were my favourites.
That mirror joke :D Last time I was at towers the skyride had a little coming together as we were in the station. The people in the car looked a little nervous so I made so jokes about calling a newspaper. Heading to towers again tomorrow, might bump into you :)
my uncle use to be the costumed mascot for Pleasure Beach - nan had many years washing the Leo Lion suit. iv never seen the suit in person but iv seen the pictures ^^
Great stuff mate! I started doing commentaries in rides into a Sony Walkman almost 20 years ago too....your "Vlogs" are highly informative, interesting and great fun...so much so that I'm planning a trip to "Adventure Island" for the unique "Time Machine"...keep up the good work! :) :)
I love great yarmouth soo much thank u for doing this video that's why I subscribe u because u do the best yarmouth videos ever and pleasure wood hills
Someone please reply. Ive never been on evolution and ive finally decided I have to ride it before my 13th so can someone answer these random questions about it: 1. Is it comfortable 2. Does it feel secure 3. Does it feel like your going to fall out or no
I know this is unrelated but I'm going to Blackpool next week which day should I go to pleasure beach Wednesday or Thursday. Which will be less busy, thanks 😊😀
That caterpillar (Mulan) is a great ride and quite rare too. There are 8 known left in the world of those 4 are remakes and 4 are original. Only two of the originals are operating the other 2 are in storage. And of the remakes only 2 have an operating canopy.
Just realised that you used to go to Vauxhall holiday park as a kid, i am 13 years old, and still go there every year just gets better and better, I laughed when you said Leo the lion as it's Louie the loin😂😂
I remember going on the log flume (I think it was last year) with Dad whilst Mum and my brother watched us. And just before we got on the log (because I was standing in front of Dad) the staff member looked at me and pointed to the front seat. I slipped behind Dad and pushed him to go on the front seat. Anyway, me and Dad both got a good soaking. Afterwards, my brother (who is older than me) ran up to us to see how soaked we were (or rather how soaked I was) and he started laughing and I just stared at him with a stern look.
Hey Shawn! Loving the vlogs and congrats on making 100! Just want to know, are you at Alton Towers on 1st September. Off with a friend, I just can't wait to get back on nemmy
I went Yarmouth a few weeks and really enjoyed it, managed 4 goes on the roller coaster which is the best ride at the Pleasure Beach IMO along with the Fairytale Snail ride. That new coaster isn't bad. Glad I'm not the only one who thought the music in the fun house reminded me of SpongeBob SquarePants. Gutted I missed the dark ride at Joyland though. It is actually possible to do all three parks in a day if you pace it right, that's what I did when I went.
Going here in 4 days with my family.I hate rides but there are more things to do there like the horse and carts me and my mum are def going on it.We love looking at all the rides even though we might not go on them. The thing I like is we go to Clacton once a year South-End once a year and Great Yarmouth once a year and stay there for one night and two days.
Maddie collins I've never been keen on rides neither. The only rides I went on was the snail ride (with my nephew) and the log flume (with my dad). But anyway, have a good time! 😊
Is the roller coaster fast because I have never been on one before and I don't like rides and I'm going Great Yarmouth soon and I wanna go on the roller coaster
Shame how it's not in Wales here anymore, Barry Island pleasure park has now been taken over by Henry danter! And he will be rebuilding the log flume I'm well excited!
Hi, ***** (on youtube, check it out). Do you log your credits on coaster-count.com or is there some excel action going on? Really enjoy the content. ^^
If u went on skydrop on the 6th of august in the evening you would have got stuck it got stuck twice when i was on it right when it got to the good drop
The biggest drop feels like your going to hit your head on the wood I've been in it before because my nan lives there and I'm goin there on Monday and if you let go on the ride u kinda jump out of the seat and it's really fun 😁
Yesterday I went there I was petrified of rolecoasters but I went on the roller coaster with my dad and now I love rollercoasters after that I went on the log flute on my own I loved it so much I went on it twice and I went I zorbs balls that u go in and run in or relax then I live 218 miles away but I can go again in October I cant wait!! And I also went 10 times on the dogems and 5 times on go carts! and I went on whirlwind
Did you get to ride the new Twist & Drop? We were told that it was for children. Adults were allowed to join with "Small" children. Was left a little disapointed
It was hilarious when that kid screamed "I'm gonna be sick!" At the beginning of the video on Whirlwind 😂
first went there in 1967/68, every year after for two weeks growing up as a kid, love the place.
Ahh this brings back so many memories! I remember going here in 2008 with my family and my friend. We went on the roller coaster, log flume and Mulan so many times I lost count! :'D Watching this makes me want to go back!

Someone please reply. Ive never been on evolution and ive finally decided I have to ride it before my 13th so can someone answer these random questions about it: 1. Is it comfortable

I remember going on the log flume (I think it was last year) with Dad whilst Mum and my brother watched us.
