- Join us as we head to Blackpool Pleasure Beach for the late night riding event and fireworks display. Not only do we ride on some of our favourite rides the park, we also share with you the full fireworks display held next to The Big One's lift hill!

The only thing that I don't like about this channel is that he's always insulting my home theme park Alton towers-apart from that he's brilliant
He doesn't insult the park. He's repeated constantly it's a special park for him, and some of his favorite rides are there. What's brilliant about this channel is actually that Shawn knows his opinion isn't universally valid, and says so in his own video's..

Blackpool also host the World Firework Championships in September for 4 consecutive weeks. they're really good too :-)
I prefer Alton Towers' show as it feels more scripted and the setting is more magical. Plus, their music is the best!

There must have been strong winds. The Big One closes just when the wind reaches 11mph, so it probably was closed.
I was recently at Thorpe park and was really disappointed. Firstly, when I arrived we were told that colossus, stealth and swarm were closed. That day we had bought fast track tickets so essentially we had wasted 80 pounds each. Later on in the day nemesis closed. And worst of all, Darren Browns ghost train was closed to at the time we had booked tickets on it. Also, as saw was the only ride the fast track was thronged with people. We waited half an hour. That would have been alright if the other rides were open but no they weren't. Luckily I have had better days at Thorpe park and hopefully it will be a once off.

Blackpool fireworks look decent,but like you say I hope they start closing later and more often as that would be good.

So I'm confused, they bought traumatizer from Southport, but did they change the layout? because it looks completely different in layout and it was much more enjoyable to ride traumatizer than infusion as well.
It's the same layout as it was in Southport

I was there to see the July Fireworks. Felt tired later on, but never them to come.
Before the fireworks, I stayed on the Wallace and Gromit's Thrill O Matic for the last hour and then made it with my dad.

u can see that in the fireworks the wind mist off been quite bresy that night
Just a thought Shaun, The Big One closing a bit earlier could have been possibly due to it's close proximity to where the fireworks were being set off from. H&S and all that.......

Awwwww I went the day before we were going to go to late night rides but we were going home that day also the day that we went the infusion que was up the steps
So did they close the queue for every ride at 9pm? if so was it because the queues where getting too big and it would of been open over 10pm?
