- Join us for our opening day vlog from Blackpool Pleasure Beach, one of the UK's most famous tourist attractions! Each year Pleasure Beach starts it's season in February, making it the earliest park in the UK to open with a full ride offering! Throughout this vlog we check out the many changes across the park for 2017, including a detailed look at the work taking place on Construction 2018. This exciting new roller coaster will open at the park in 2018 and feature 2 exhilarating launches and 15 different interactions with other rides at the park. Along with all of that, we also ride our favourite attractions at the park and share plenty of off ride footage.

I don't know what it is about theme park worldwide vlogs, but they always make me feel so cosy and lovely when I watch them. I especially love the UK park ones, like this one, as I don't get to travel abroad much and these are the parks and rides that I have grown up with and will always have a special place in my heart. I just love your presenting style Shawn. Hopefully you see this comment! P.S I agree with you about Valhalla; it is fantastic ❤

This is probably my favourite vlog every year as it brings back so many memories.
I love how they're playing 'I've got a golden ticket' on the Alice in Wonderland ride
Yana Smith it is such a catchy tune! I always wonder what music they used before though, as Alice in Wonderland ride opened in the sixties, but Willy Wonka wasn't released until 1971.
Rachael8989 I know I'd like to know that too, even though it's strange the music does fit the ride!

I go to Blackpool for my birthday in August and some other times and I love it... I went on the big one when I was 7 and a half 😂😂❤️
My favourite thing about your older videos is Martin I miss him in your new videos he’s so great! Love his thoughts on the rides and I’ll never forget when he lost his phone on that ride😩😂
He had a child two years ago however he'll still be around in the videos every so often!

I love your vlogs. Valhalla broke down on me twice when I went back in May which was my first ever ride on it. It broke down at the beginning when we were going up
same - we got evaced halfway up lift 1! It was my first time in August was really cool but kinda spoiled it as theres no walls between the scenes.
Great to see all the TPW friends back together again, along with other vloggers... looks like it was an amazing weekend for all of you. Its a great happy 'feel good' vlog..looking forward to loads more in 2017.. Thanks TPW.

I went today and the big one was shut most of the morning due to technical difficulties. The effects on Valhalla still weren't working and the wild mouse was still closed but all in all had a great day!

I love watching these vlogs so much they make my day so much better I went to Blackpool pleasure beach today and went on all the rides however I was sad that I couldn’t go on Valhala but they are adding new changes to the ride

Nickelodeon streak is amazing . I was 11 and it was my first big rollercoaster and it was great

Theme Park Worldwide I always do. Because Im brazilian sometimes its too long to watch a full video, but the content is so good that I always try to whatch everything. By the way it would be nice if you guys make a video with tips for people that really wann enjoy the parks but fear coasters! Thats it.

little did anyone know, 2017 marked the end of one of the most beloved coasters in the uk, the blackpool mouse.
I love BPPB, I love the classic wooden coasters, the smell of oil and hotdogs, and the reason I prefer it to Alton towers and other uk parks is the length of the rides, the duration of the coasters is simply incomparable, and you get a lot of bang for your buck compared to towers and other parks.
My favourite amusement at BPB used to be the famous Funhouse where everyone had stockingfeet. It was sadly destroyed by fire, and Valhalla built on the site.
my husband went there in the mid 70's i bet it has really changed

I'm going up BPB for my birthday in October! Which is fun, except my friends always tune out because I go on a million nerd rants about rollercoasters and ridemakers and how "(ride name) is working much better than last time today! i'd even say it's better than (name of ride none of my friends have heard of/been to, at a park they've never heard of/been to)!" or "wow, (ride name) is a bit off today. still good, but off..."
I've been a rollercoaster fanatic since seven, this channel just fuels it haha.

Ever since I played RollerCoaster Tycoon, I've always wanted to visit Blackpool. Too bad I'm from the US.
Falchion Of Eternity it's a good family park, however traveling from the US just for that might not be worth it, as it is home to rough rides, but feel free I'd recommend visit as many UK parks as you can! :p

Hi Shawn I've never been to Blackpool Pleasure Beach. I wish I could visit there and ride on Valhalla.
You guys should stay at the big blue hotel you get tickets cheaper and get to access the park 30 mins earlier than everyone else
