- On Pocketnow Daily, according to a new report by Bloomberg, the upcoming Apple Watch Series may introduce blood pressure and sleep apnea monitoring. It seems OnePlus is gearing up to hit photography harder with its next flagship. Apple seems to also be in line to bring important and useful design changes to the next iPhone. Finally, it seems sources are changing their minds about what to expect from the new Ultra Galaxy.

* Improvements I would like to see on the S24 Ultra:
- a flat screen with symmetrical bezels
- an under display camera. I don't really care if the quality of the front cam is slightly less good, I prefer an uninterrupted fullscreen experience. They need to start pushing this technology and make it better.
- battery life at least as good as the current S23 Ultra
- and yes, better camera's. When I first got the S23 Ultra I only wished the 3x zoom camera was better, as it's significantly worse than the quality of the main cam. But frankly, having seen the pictures the iPhone 15 Pro Max can take (I was able to compare them), Samsung needs to step it up big time. The rendition on the iPhone was way more natural, no weird sharpening going on. Also way less noise. I want that on the S24 Ultra as well...
I don't know how you manage to take shots and what settings you used, but even a simple point and shoot between the iphone, Samsung and pixel puts the iphone in last place in shots and barely first in video as both google and Sammy improved video drastically.
@@jamescassar5348 both on the standard setting. Taking multiple pictures of various objects. Sometimes the pictures on the iPhone were too dark, but I was truly shocked at how much more natural the iPhone's pictures looked on a 28" 4K monitor. By comparison every picture from the S23 Ultra had an almost oversharpened look. And I say this as a huge S23 Ultra fan. That's why I want it to improve. I want the S24 Ultra to make pictures like that, without the strange artifacting I now see on the S23 Ultra

Hopefully we will get Ultra HDR photo displayed on Samsung. Apple & Google already have this and it makes the photos appear as they do in real life , extra bright highlights

I'd like advanced 8K video. Like one I can use all the cameras with. Currently can only use one, but if I could use all 3 like in 4K that would be great. Also, fit a 1 inch sensor in that bad boy too. Why not. Haha

yeah , you see a difference of a year of being out in the wild for the s23 ultra ,compared to the 15 and the 8 pro that have just come out , so it makes sense to be a bit outdated . but still the phone trades blows with the latest phones and holds his own

What will be the price of s24? Also after s24 launch what will be the price of s23 considering s23fe is currently launched?
It would be OK to use Exynoss if it wouldn't be inferior to SD in every way, like it has been the past years, or would be clearly cheaper. Otherwise discounted S23 for me when I am due to upgrade the next year.
I think a lot of people will do the same. Same as with the A52 / A53

The industry needs a competent Snapdragon competitor. It's a pity Exynos hasn't been up to the task. The least Samsung could do is to price Exynos handsets more competitively until they can claim to be on par with Snapdragon. 😡
Mediatek's doing its best with decent scores yet some games dont put their socs to it's chip's full potential🤷♂️

we're far past peak power needed for mobile computing, if xynos was 90% of the cpu power but 50% of power consumption, it would sell like hotcakes
We already have a Snapdragon competitor in the Apple A series which can now do ray tracing with A17 Pro, something that Snapdragon can’t do yet.
Definitely less lag and better battery performance. Using an s22 since it it came out and lagg has been present here and there since the. Its kinda embarrassing knowing you spent so much for a laggy phone. I can't take a quick picture because i have to wait for the camera to load and then to capture the picture it takes about 4 seconds and it comes out blurry and out of focus

I'm actually OK with them continuing with their Exynos chips. Consider this, the new Pixel devices are using chips that are still based on Exynos framework. Imagine if Samsung is able to finally improve their chips to satisfy the enthusiasts. They could offer the same level of software support that Google are doing. Currently though they have to create parity between their devices if they keep using both Qualcomm and Exynos. They're kind of stuck with however long Qualcomm supports their processors for. If they only used Exynos that would be a non issue and Samsung could have complete control.
Im also ok as long as exynos 2400 wont have noticable issue

Well they did have the Note 10 plus and the note 10 different sizes by far but same concept and design hopefully they do that in the future again for the ultras I actually wish they kept it updatable to android 14 one ui 6 I loved that design

Jaime, the videos on this new set up, without the green screen, are better. They are homey, relaxed and more informal. You don´t need to stand up and look like a weather news reporter. In summary, way better.

You are exactly right. I can't understand why Samsung keeps pushing the Exynos Chips. I have been saying it for years. If Samsung ever drops Qualcomm SOCs I will never buy a Samsung device ever again. 😊

u failed to mention exyson 2400 is made by AMD chipset so its gonna be huge deal in and making their first ever chipset officially
It's still manufactured in Samsung's foundry rather than TMSC's for the Snapdragon. At the very least it's worth waiting for a proper comparison between the two chips, but I've got a pretty shrewd idea what the results will be

SD card slot 😢that's what I want and why I switched to a cheaper phone with 256 gb on board and a SD card slot. Samsung that was the best until they started following Apple. I was a loyal customer of Samsung since the galaxy s2 but when they removed the SD card I lost all reason to get another one.
Wanted to switch to S24 in Europe, but won't with Exynos!!!
Radio antennas on S24 should be more on the left side, as many people are using it in right handed mode. S24, should have a minimum of 67W fast charging, on all models, and Samsung should implement it on this new launch. A separate parallel processing transistors chip alongside the main chip like Vivo has did for Video processing acceleration and On device Mobile Large language models AI accelerators on same cores, should be implemented by Samsung. Samsung should collaborate with Open AI, Microsoft and Google on the on device AI accelerators, as business men require more of AI assisted functionalities. Samsung should implement Satellite To Phone emergency service provided by Snapdragon chip, in more countries. Satellite To Phone Broadband service and Satellite To Phone Broadband service packages should be launched by Samsung in many rural areas and in Oceanic regions as OneWeb, Starlink have already launched such related concepts.
Still enjoying my Note20 Ultra. I think Samsung should focus on making phone speedier, maximize their sensor technology and maybe considering Mediatek as purchase since they are far better at SoC manufacturing.
Still will fall behind A16 bionic performance and efficiency.
iPhone 16 will have more of a focus on gaming so the additional buttons and button placement will have remapping for game play
If all the S24s only offer eSIM, it's a hard pass. If all the S24s now have UWB, it's a soft pass.

Flat screen, better battery, camera under screen
After using android for almost 13 years starting from galaxy s1.
I can confidently say now that Android smartphone have leaked in regards to performance, battery life, UI, software update, camera, security, network. Upgrades are minor each year.
For me S23 ultra is pinnacle of Android smartphone and I think 24 Ultra could be 5 6% better
I prefer this over the green screen anyday

Snapdragon is struggling to keep up with Apple. Exynos isn't even close yet Samsung thinks they can charge a premium for them. I've got an Exynos S20+ and the performance didn't justify the price tag. Unless Samsung or Google can start offering processors that are close to Apple, I'm going to have to jump ship.
I really wish the Samsung Galaxy s24 Ultra and future Flagship Samsung Galaxy S Ultra phones would incorporate larger camera sensors and use newer Sony camera sensors if possible.

I wish the next Galaxy S phones get a headphone jack. I would like to be able to use aux in a car without having to go thru the hoops of making it work. Also it would be great if Samsung would team up with LG and use their dac tech on the headphone jack.

Offering going back to the two variants is consumer hostile. I don't have issue with Xynos actually, they are powerful chips. My issue is charging customers the same for a phone that can at times be objectively worse at heat management, battery life and performance. You are cheating your customers.
