- This is the iPhone 15, what Apple calls as New Camera. New Design. Newphoria.. And yeah, I had to actually search that term on the Urban Dictionary... It means "the feeling of happiness or excitement about something newly acquired." And listen, I know the word on the street is that nothing on this phone is really new, but I don't agree. Sure it borrows a lot from the 14 and 13 at least in visuals, but since it then brings most of the 14 Pro to a broader market, I'd say this phone is dramatically better. This is what seems to be happening everywhere in the world but USA&Canada. :D in other countries people aren't so hung up on "iMessage" nor much other stuff. My choice to have an iphone is based on a much better reason than bubble colours)
I agree with Jaime, this matte black, non-pro iPhone is one of the best looking iPhones that has come out in a while.
This is the first time I didn't went for the Pro models. The base 15 is the best pick this year. Really solid phone.
How's the battery life on iphone 15?

I went from the 13 pro to the regular 15 black. It is a thing of beauty. The camera is better, battery life better, screen and brightness beautiful.
so why you choosing the regular one, than the pro model? let me know your reason

I'm an old guy, in Poland they called us "dziadersi" which basically means an "very old guy" . So I remember an all way war between Atari and Commodore. My mother even sew me a a sweater with an Atari kogo but in simple words Commodore was better. Now it is THE SAME. when somebody asks me which phone I should buy, I'm saying, when you want to buy a phone which last your for years buy an iPhone but if you want to buy a phone which has all novelty, and have everything which is new buy an android phone
Had a 15 pro. Switched to a 15 Plus. The plus is probably the best iPhone since the X IMO. Light, bright, thin and AWESOME battery! So satisfied!

I Was thinking ABOUT the 15 plus but i got small hands and for me its the only negative part of getting the 15 plus even tho it have one of the best battery life (I have the iPhone X btw)

I use it with a pop socket, it’s awesome. Medium sized hands. Hard to handle without pop socket
If the 15 plus had 1tb of internal storage I wouldn’t bother buying a pro model.
I ported from 13PM 120hz to 15Plus 60hz with zero regrets. The super light form factor and gorgeous display and stellar battery is worth the upgrade.
What upgrade? Change brand if you want upgrade

I love everything with my 15 Plus, no complaints. The refresh rate could be one, but after using it for awhile I couldn't care less.

I thought about the iPhone 15, but opted for the 15 pro because of the camera mainly, yes it has less battery life, but it is still more than enough for me, plus I wanted to try the latest upgrades, however, the pro max is too big for what I need.
I felt compelled to drop a message here in justice for one of my better preferred youtuber, Jaime. He is just sharing his opinion and you and I knows that influencers are commercially motivated too by some brands which i can't blame them as it is their bread and butter.
If you're looking for objective review, there aren't many left in RUclips.

I’ve changed my android for the iPhone 15 and have no regrets.
Here in Brazil, every iPhone still really expensive, even the normal version and old ones.
But I need to say that camera, screen and the system are awesome.
Hey man! Great content, loved the samples and informations on the camera. Although I think android cameras, regarding video quality (Stabilization, HDR, Color profiles etc) evolved a LOT. Maybe worth a look on s23 and 24 cameras on that point!

I've been waiting for this and the upcoming reviews of the other models. Finally decided to get an iPhone (because airtags); I just have to decide which one. Still keeping my Pixel Pro; phones hold control of so much of one's financial/official existence that redundancy has become a must.
Im so indecided between pixel 8 and iPhone 15. I started with a iPhone 4 then went with S7 and now Oppo Reno Z. Kinda want go back to Apple but i prob will miss Google integration.
At the end got a 15 Pro. So happy with it. The battery is so long even if I use it only between 20 and 80%. Recharge it ever 2 days
I can't explain it either, but for some unknown reason, this is the first time that I have been really satisfied with my iPhone (15 Pro). The only thing I didn't like was that I don't get the 5x telephoto lense. But I'm able to live without. It's a great phone and I'm totally smitten with it.

As an android user I think it boils down to support. I switch devices often and I've had Android devices of all types( pixels, nexus, Samsung, Redmi, xiaomi,vivo, Motorola, and etc..) and I've had a few iPhones iver the years as well. Ehat I've experienced is the lack of long term support for a device when it comes to the Android side, they can pack all the latest features they want, but if my phone is forgotten in 2 years it doesn't matter. I looking into giving the iPhone 15 plus a shot, my last iPhone was a 7 plus so I figured I'd try them again. Im currently on a Z Flip 3 with 120hz display, they way I see it, IOS is better optimized so it should be smooth enough.

Did MagSafe charging and wired charging speeds reduce from previous years? I haven’t checked but I swear that iPhones charge faster than 7.5 wireless and 15 wired

The last iPhone I had was 4s and after that I had an Android mobile phone until I saw the iPhone 15, that's when I remembered the iPhone 4s and I went to buy it and I must say that this phone is amazing!

I always used too get the Base model but this time I went with the pro max & let me just say I love my 15 pro max every thing better I'll never go back too the base model
Being that your average consumer doesn't tune into your channel and more or less prosumers view your content so maybe most that watch this can share the same sentiments as you on improvements to the new 15 but to your actual average consumer I do think a lot of the changes are nuanced. I came from the 12 mini and just bought my first pro line phone from apple and I can certainly see the difference.
Currently using the 13 mini and by far its the best experience anyone can have of using a “smartphone “ i don’t understand the reason behind discontinuing the model u the latest for the cheapest price and the experience is unmatched #bringbackrhemini

just got mine yesterday.All in all, it's a nice phone. My only concern would be the battery life.
I was an android fan because I love the widget customization options. I was so sad to lose that when I switched but thank goodness, now they are doing quite the improvement on widget!
When I decided to switch to iPhone (iPhone 8) it was due to the lack of option when my phone broke (I super did not like the models for LG and Samsung in 2018). Then I continue to stay with iPhone because I was tired of the overheating in previous android. The heat got so bad that even if it didn’t cause burn sometimes my fingers feel tingly and numb later.
I upgraded this year to the iPhone 15 (my 8’s battery went bad). I am not a fan of the size as it feels like my brother’s iPhone 8. I don’t see much difference aside from the amazing battery life, cameras
, and my ability now to play some games without issue (while RUclips plays in the background). I miss my iPhone 8 but I don’t regret upgrading.

Calling it a "free market" when fully aware (and even talking about it earlier in the video) of the ways Apple locks you into their ecosystem the moment you start using an iPhone isn't really fair in my opinion.

I had been using the OnePlus One since 2014. Loved the phone. But it died last month, so I was looking for a replacement.
I chose the iPhone 15 because it's the first base iPhone in years that is really, really good. I appreciate the relatively low entry price. I appreciate the great camera.
I don't need a large display. I appreciate its compactness (I always carry my phone in my sometimes tight pants pocket).

I just got a 15, before watching any videos on it. I think I made a good choice.
I want the iPhone 16 Pro(whatever it’s called) to have a screen size to a 6.3”
Im on my 4th Android, last two have been pixels, mainly due to them being very close to flagship product with a very flagship camera but every year I feel their processors struggling as they age, i never really felt this with my iphones, the prices are now getting really close despite the residuals for a iphone 14 being double what ill get trade in for my pixel 7... And these points never get mentioned enough for real world users.
I have owned both android and iPhones and currently I have a pixel 8 and the problems that I have run into on it I have never encountered once on my iPhones. Im looking to head back to iPhone as soon as my phone has a trade in value.

I've been an android user since I first got my android... decided to change to iPhone 15. I am sometimes infuriated by the lack of features I had on androids... but damn this phone looks, feels and operates nicely.
Not saying that iOs is better than Android, actually the opposite in most cases, but the hardware is very nice so far.
As an adroid user I agree that google needs to stop the RCS campaigns and stick with a platform that can grow to rival imessage.

Huge bezels on the iphone 15 compared to a samsung though. Only the iphone 15 pro which is insanely expensive has nice thin bezels.

Is it youtube that makes video footage look choppy?
I honestly don’t mind using 60 hz display. Ive used 14 pro, pixel 8 pro, samsung 22 ultra and z flip 5. Going back to my wife’s iphone 12 pro max doesnt really bother me. I think its doable. Especially video wise.
I had 90 Hz in my oneplus, but I kept it at 60Hz to save battery and maybe 90hz gave me a headache (can be placebo);
I have a 140Hz monitor on my desktop and 60Hz on my laptop and I can't really tell the difference, except for the fact that 60Hz looks better because it's an IPS display.
I bought a iPhone 15 recently and couldn't be more satisfied with the display. The only thing I'd miss from the pro model is the RAW photo at 48MPixel, Applelog Slog capture and faster USB transfers, but yeah iPhone 15 -base is still great.
One thing Apple does is use it thuggery to not communicate well with the Windows OS, I have to use a 3rd party software to transfer my photos to the PC. This shoudnt have been the case and I think Apple needs to be called out for this. There is no problem with my cable, my PC, the iphone since it all work well with the 3rd party software- which I now have to half-heartedly trust for my data.

Great video. Can’t say I disagree with anything you said. So much of what makes iPhones better for most people than Android phones is experienced when you’ve had the phone for a while, and use it to its full potential, and when you have a MacBook as your primary work device, or use any of the other ecosystem devices. 5 years ago, I would have told you that I would never switch from Android to Apple. But today, even though I badly want a foldable, I won’t switch back to Android.
When do you think will be a good time to get a foldable. They release them so quickly and still have so much to perfect. I really like the look of them but I don’t know when they’ll get it right. I wonder if Apple will ever go that route but it takes them 500 years to do something that Samsung has been doing, even though I agree the Apple quality just seems to last longer. I didn’t think I would ever want an iphone 10 years ago. I use to stan Samsung.

Much prefer the Pixel 8 Pro cameras. Using mine in 50mp resolution at even 10x zoom makes fabulous photos. I'd say it even beats the S23 Ultra during the day at 10x zoom

I am upgrading from Xr, and after thinking about it, for almost the same price, I will get 14 pro over the 15. But the 15 is good too

15 pro might be worth a shout, cause of the thin asf bezels. although compared to Xr every phone is thinner lol

Im an andriod user I'm moving to apple for sure. I see no point in the Android devices their user interface is just too inferior to apple. Androids dont last as long as iPhones, hopefully the 7 year support thing disproves that but I know they are gonna neglect the optimization of these apps. Maybe im young so this matters more to me but Social media are just soo much better on iphone
I went from a now 200 dollar pixel 6a to this phone. They are basically the same size. Just a better phone .
I use an Android but still think base iPhones are better. And the Apple ecosystem, you can't beat that. They got it down to a T.

I really like that black on the iPhone 15, but after my experience with the blue iPhone 12 mini, I'd pick lighter colors or, when available, unpainted/unanodized iPhones going forward. The color on my blue 12 mini rubbed off quite easily just from the regular handling of the phone; I like to use my phones without a case but I otherwise baby them and keep them in a belt pouch (I know, I'm one of the 5 people who still use that, lol), but I still have silver patches on the rails where my fingers grab the phone due to the paint/anodization rubbing off (not chipping, though, which is a problem others have experienced with their iphone 12/13 models, but I didn't personally). I figure if I had the white version with the silver rails, this problem wouldn't have been nearly as visible, so I'd avoid any dark colored iPhones, including this nice black one, for that reason. For the record, I've NEVER had that issue happen to any of the many Samsungs I've used.
I purchased an iPhone 12 Mini in April 2021 and I have been using it till date. The blue at the back and sides are perfectly intact, pretty much 99.9% the same as the day I purchased it.
@@Pielkay All I can say is mine has the paint issues I metioned despite babying it. Do you have a case on yours? I use mine naked, so maybe the paint is so fragile it rubs off from sweat, skin oils etc.
@@sammyt3514 Gotcha… I have been using mine without a case since only the last month because I just picked up the iPhone 15. It is possible that the paint rubs off from constant friction though.
@@Pielkay Friction is certainly part of it. As I mentioned, however, I've used many Samsungs, including the S8 and Note 10 which I still have, the same way and they look as good as new. Apple seems to count on the majority of their users to use cases so they don't pay too much attention to the quality/durability of the paint/anodization of their phones.
It’s not so much brand loyalty it’s the fact that iPhones just work. No over complicating things you got 1 app to message 1 to call and they are bare bones

Not all plastic is created equal. Polycarbonate is not cheap. Remember every Nokia Lumia made of the same version of polycarbonate?
