About BTS writing their songs, they even wrote their debut single. They also have a team of writers and producers obviously, but they were involved in writing and producing for all their albums ,no exception. At first, it was more the rappers, and as time went by the vocal line (that had no pre/debut experience) got more involved. But to this day, RM, Suga and JHope have a bigger share than the other four in writing for the group.

People don't realise that many ARMY are professional adults that includes historians and reseacher's and often speak and write in more than one language. We have a huge range of hightly educated people in ARMY. So they did the research produced a official document laying out all the facts and history, correcting mis information A White Paper is an official government document most countries have them that will have all the correct reference's and statistical data etc etc. It's like presenting a legal document.

52:25 About military enlistment... BTS is unique in their approach here. They went on hiatus as a group, they prepared lots of content as soloists. Than they all went together (the youngest 26, the oldest 31) to finish their obligations quickly and to reunite as soon as possible. What idol gourps usually do is go one by one when they reach 30, so gourp is still active without one or two members.

Most Armys are really nice if people are respectful. We are like family. Army are just defending if there are disrespectful haters also through all the years of hardships. Other fandoms like to dragging BTS and Armys and making them look bad. There are even haters who pretend to be Armys to make this fandom look bad. And sure there are also toxic people like in every big fandom. That's normal.

This. He said he didn't even know about the claim it was the reporter who took it upon himself to make the plagarism claim, the artist knew nothing about it until after that press conference. The reporter was from YG I'm not gonna sensor the name of the companies, to this day they continue to falsify & bring up long resolved proven wrong by the courts allegations against BTS it's absurd.

As a woman, I have never thought of BTS's songs as misogynistic..even their older songs was about them being horny teens..Thirsting over women? Yes. Hating or being sexist towards women? No.

The White Paper... was a 166 page article written by Army in both English and Korean to educate the people who had boycotted BTS from appearing on their show because Jimin wore a Tshirt with that picture on years before ... so they pointed out what actually happened in the second world war between Japan and Korea with factual evidence from historical data... Don't take on Army if we feel that BTS are innocent and being incriminated by antis just to cause them trouble... you will lose....

I think army mostly has the values promoted by BTS, wich makes sense, who they are as artists and people is what made us their fans. The agressive comments usually come up when someone is disrespectful (like it's fine to not like a song, but to offend them or make fun it's something else, and we'se seen a lot of that).
Also, in such a huge fandom you may also meet less mature fans, wich is also normal...statistics 😁
But I'm happy you felt welcomed, from what I've seen you are respectful, you seem genuine and you want to honestly learn about them, wich makes us have a great time watching you 🙂🙂

Yeah, some people say that their music "is trash" or other really hateful things and try to pass it as "their opinion". Like...hate is not an opinion. Belittling something or someone that you don't even know anything about is not an opinion. That's disrespect and ARMY will not stand and watch 💜

Becoming indie label / small company, bighit and BTS struggled so hard to stay true to themselves and honest in every way / procedure in releasing their music.. meanwhile, the big3 company easily using their money to make connections here and there, ensuring their boy / girl band to get a smooth promotional process etc etc..

BTS had defied the norm that after military service the group will no longer be as popular, but BTS even been on hiatus for almost 3 years is still gaining popularity as we speak. Their comeback will be crazy.
Unlike other groups who releases album every after two years, BTS on their hiatus released a total of almost 10 albums along with few free songs, they're very hardworking & generous. They even plan ahead, they made songs that are to be released after they are gone.

BTS is now in its 11th year and its understandable that 80-90% of ARMYs are actually adults and thus know that RESPECT matters. The fandom focus on showing love and support to BTS. ARMYs are just protective of BTS because of the hardships that they experienced. That video doesn't even show 50% of the racism and struggles that they've been through. Until now, haters create rumors that would destroy their reputation. But ARMY will always be here to shield BTS from all these negativity. 💜

Your question about the military.... Jhope gets discharged next in October... the others will be out by Festa 2025 (June)... hopefully Yoongi (Suga) will get some time off for being promoted so that he can also join them (He is doing civil service as he wasn't able to do active service due to his pre-debut shoulder injury - Like Jin, all the remaining 5 members will serve 18mths... Yoongi will serve 21mths)

So only because you want to know and not to hate any groups, just to tell the complete story... The groups/fans censured in the video were mostly EXO and BlackPink, this groups like we all know come from Big Agencies, they're part of the privileged groups of the Big 3. The fans EXO-L organized and were the principal fandom to team up with others in the BREAK WINGS Project, to sabotage WINGS Album of BTS in 2016, the hate train online was HUGE and I personally think it never stopped, they just hold on in anything to hate BTS (not everyone in the fandom, but there's a certain dislike between our fandom and theirs), as a point, this happened again in 2022 were EXO-L teamed up with other fandoms to make BTS lose in Inkigayo and Mcountdown shows, finally and sadly EXO was punished and they weren't counted in the final round. BTS won.
About the Blue House Site, same, this fandoms really have a long story of hate towards BTS and ARMY, even discrimination because BTS comes from the small agency...
Until this day I think it's very clear that mostly MultiStans or new (4th, 5th gen) K-Pop Fans hold prejudice against BTS and a sadly majority think they "westernized K-Pop" (stupid, K-Pop was westernized since the first group lmao) "they're overrated" or "they have privilege" without counting the stupid remarks of plagiarism that STILL going on 😂
To be clear, EXO and BTS have a great relationship, they seem to be friends, so Idk why the stupid hate towards both groups, also EXO is really talented, and with BlackPink there's clearly a fun fact that they know each other and their music, V and Jungkook know many songs by them and enjoy the music, I'm not a fan of BP but in my opinion their music is fun, fun to dance, fun to listen, not that great lyricism but enjoyable 🤷🏻‍♀️
I'm often online and yes, comments are a MESS, I even disliked parts of our Fandom knowing well that majority of ARMY aren't hateful, they do charity, stand up for other artists, protect BTS and other ARMY, they're kind and organized, even for Big events you can see how the fandom tries to make things easy and enjoyable💜 It's just that there's SO MANY fans that it's hard to ignore the Toxic part, but whatever EVERY Fandom has that, ARMY is not different in that sense, even if other fandoms like to portrait only ARMY as crazy or hateful lmao

Yo no pido que a otros les guste BTS, solo pido que si se habla, se hable con el conocimiento necesario para hacerlo. Porque a veces se les desprecia por ideas preconcebidas, estereotipos etc etc... y eso es tan triste...😢

haters ALWAYS make fake army accounts that is the only reason we have that reputation as the hated and mean and crazy fandom. because say for example a new bts reactor but isnt into kpop yet so they dont know how kpop works at all they will believe the hate comments are armys and they will stop reacting to bts. its happened to SO MANY channels and i get so sad becaue when we try to explain to them they dont want to hear it they just deep all army bad. so many reacted to this video and they never read the pictures so they never see that haters make fake army accounts. its so frustrating. haters always set bts and army up too when it comes to celebrities who reply to fans theyve made people hate bts from pretending to be us.

This. Show hosts, especially connected to the Big 3 kpop companies (SM actually owns some korean tv stations), would treat BTS badly because they came from a small company like they would literally treat them as if they were poor people in a negative way. Kpop almost have like a class system of companies, if you debuted with the big 3 you were a somebody but if you were from a small company you were deemed a nobody and that's exactly how they treated you too. We've seen BTS be treated poorly like this on camera so imagen how bad it was off camera. And frankly they had a lot of people in 2018 & 2020 especially who were awful to them in the past suddenly be really nice to them, surprise surprise. They become famous so peoples tune changed and personally that's what I think happened here with this guy with JK. But I say the people who treated them good when they were nobodies are the real ones.

I respect all bands but BTS have a special place b'coz even with all hates, they still continue to spread positivity through their songs... I respect the Army a lot too as they have been the pillar for BTS... They both are the sheild for each other.
In Rise of Bangtan you can get to know about BTS and Army and how they are different 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
You can do alternate like reacting to song in 1 week and reacting to Rise Of Bangtan episode in another week (ofcoure if you like 😋)

It's really refreshing to find someone who is as receptive to the direct and indirect messages of the videos that you've reacted to so far :) And it helps a lot that you already have background knowledge of what the Korean music industry is like so I find your comments are mostly spot on. :) The current demographics for ARMYS have also grown older with BTS -- so there are less of the younger, more childish fans, and we're mostly more respectful and supportive adult ARMYS in this fandom. I hope you get tons of support for your videos. Thanks for reacting to this one!

16:00 So about the "m-i-s-o-g-y-n-i-s-t" lyrics & the controversy about 'WOH'...let me clear the misunderstanding k-popies & some ARMYs hv..this was blown out of proportion by h@ters & Antis to create drama that time, which worked cuz k-popies & media latched on it...
*This is going to long a$$ comment*
Let's be real, War of Hormones wasn't misogynistic. It was just an honest song about what guys in that age range go through. They were straight up saying that they struggle with their hormones when they see a pretty girl, *and guess what? That's just being honest.* 👁️👄👁️ The title itself gives a clear idea to how they see it. A war. An internal conflict. And it's true to what guys in their late teens and early 20s go through. Bangtan has always been about talking about their experiences and being a voice of people their age.
The entire album, Dark & Wild, was really just about the turmoils of young adulthood. In the title of the album too, you can already tell what the sentiment was going to be. The first 3 albums spoke about school and issues of teens. And then from there, the darker days of coming to terms with adulthood. And then the HYYH series. Everything was thematic with stories they wanted to tell as they go through life.
Antis and fans of other groups were just grasping at straws to find something to shit on and unfortunately the media picked up on it and then some ARMY took it as truth and they themselves started talking as if the song was offensive. It isn't. We need to stop spreading this story as if BTS were misogynistic boys who needed to learn a lesson. Yes, Namjoon has learned a lot from the experience and has gone out of his way to speak to experts in women's studies, but I'm sure that whole ordeal also caused him unnecessary pain.
*Now, My personal take on this:* I don't see anything wrong with the lyrics of the song. All boys go through puberty and the things BTS sung in this are just reflective of their experience going through that phase in their lives. This is the reason I love them and their songs.. they didn't hide anything and covered all the feelings/thoughts of a person who is in his/her adolescent...one can see them growing up from then till today…I personally don't find the lyrics offensive and “most” Armys as well..as I agree they are expressing the struggles of dealing with hormonal changes in adolescence, and I'm sorry but sexual attraction is the number one pressing issue in most hormonal teens regardless of gender. There's a couple of issues I take with people who found this offensive. First, the double standard. You can't tell me young women were purely innocent in their thoughts and feelings as they watched these young men dance and sing, they just didn't make a song about it, at least not publicly. Secondly, the entire concept BigHit wanted from BTS is a representation of the youth culture and the issues youth deal with as seen and heard through the lyrics and music of BTS, and of course everyone has or will experience sexual attraction. Yes, they refer to see through clothing and high heels etc, but I've seen hundreds of posts referring to JK's abs, Jimin's body rolls and shoulder "accidents" Tae's tongue...you get the idea, and while many comments aren't necessarily teens it's not a problem. There can only be an issue if the lyrics were implying that I'm only attracted to girls who wear heels and sheer clothing, not sneakers and sweats. Anyone who has experienced adolescence knows however that if they're sexually attracted to someone the person could easily walk around in a potato sack and an adolescent would still be entranced.
A lot of people were offended by that line, "Girls are equations and us men just do them". Personally, I took it as "do them" meant they were puzzles to be solved, not a sexual act. RM was honestly shocked that people were offended by the lyrics and that they could be considered misogynistic. It was definitely a learning experience for him. He apologized and has since run his lyrics through a few professionals in women's studies before releasing a new song. They don't really release songs like this any more. *But to that a korean Army said translation in English were a bit off, which lead to misunderstandings and explained it saying : “I was kinda surprised it's translation was "do" because that part "do them" CAN actually sound offensive to some people, because the meaning of that word 'do' is not clear. However I can clearly say that it's not meant that way, and Korean version lyrics tell that. Words are more specific, and not controversial in Korean version lyrics, because it doesn't say 'do. That part in Korean is 여자들은 방정식 우리 남자들은 해 which says we men are 해 is a word for mathematics, and it means the 'answer/the final number'. So it means they solve. the complex minds of the girls. 해 DOES have the meaning of 'do' too, but its not appropriate to translate this part of the lyrics that way, because if u say it means "do them, it doesn't fit the sentence there. Since there's no Objectives for that Verb 'do' and that's... kinda awkward. plus. the context and meaning of the whole sentence is talking abt mathematics and Equations so what u said is true. It doesn't mean sexual way”* it's freaking mistranslation, if you don't belive me ask any korean, not only k-army but any Korean.. it was done to sabotage BTS's career..💀
BTS hv made few mistakes unknowingly early in their career and said things which can be considered offensive, as they were young but they hv re-educated themselves, apologized and never repeated the mistakes again..but I hv seen many k-popies and so called Multi Armys twisting many things because of that..take for example this song.. it's blown out of the proportion just to cause drama..and they were sadly successful in that..haters/antis tried every lil thing to bring BTS down & sabotage their career ngl..
*Now last but not the least* ..when this controversy happened, When joon apologized, The one thing that struck me about that was a part in the statement saying they took so long to apologize because they wanted to understand what exactly was the issue... And that part I definitely liked, I've never been a fan of blanket apologies.. BTS always try to understand the problem & try to improve..joon apologized because as the controversy was over "ppl were offended", he apologized for the ppl who were offended by this song, that doesn't mean the song was wrong, he was kind enough to take responsibility for it, ofc bighit & BTS took this issue (which was blown out of proportion) and apologized so that this unwanted drama surrounding the song would end (isn't that common sense) he sincerely apologised..but that doesn't mean that WOH is misogynist or objectifying women..like the title itself clears it out! "War of hormones" what ppl expected form this song to be like seriously?! Ppl who still want to believe that WOH is objectifying women are really dumb for me..like be practical..that's all i can say🤷🏻‍♀️
    *I'm out* 🚶🏻‍♀️🚶🏻‍♀️🚶🏻‍♀️

Unfortunately this video is just the tip of an iceberg...The vitriol that ARMY and BTS have been subjected to year after year is unbelievable. At one point, if you were an ARMY in South Korean, you had to hide it. Bullies who were fans of other groups were harassing and even physically attacking ARMYs. (2015,16,17) They would also get an ARMY's personal information and release it online encouraging others to harrass them. It was so sad. There was nothing we as international ARMY could do other than just calling out the behaviour online. Because BTS were treated so badly, we ARMY determined that we would make them so successful that no one would be able to treat them that way again....and we have..and they still get tons of crap but at least they are successful enough now that they don't have to subject themselves to it. I was part of a team that organized accounts in the US to request BTS to be played on the radio starting back in 2017. You would not even believe the shit DJs and radio programmers, station managers, etc said to us. You have no idea what ARMY has put themselves through in an attempt to protect BTS. However, I want to say that that is absolutely no excuse for any person calling themselves and ARMY to attack, put down, bully, etc another human being. That is the opposite of what we as ARMY try to do. We try to spread love and positivity just like BTS. In fact, anyone who does those kinds of hurtful things may call themselves an ARMY but no one else does. There is a saying in the fandom that ARMY are the face of BTS. Everything we do is reflected back on them whether it is good or bad. Therefore, we try to make sure that we always show a good face to the world. However, when you have somewhere between 40 and 90 million fans from every country in the world, there are going to be bad apples. There is no avoiding it. It is just statistics. However, I would like to think that the overwhelming majority are good apples. If you would like to watch some more informative type videos about subjects involving BTS, check out a RUclips channel called Boracity Magazine. She makes great video essays. Really looking forward to your reaction..ik it's gonna make us all furious, but it's important to know their background & how BTS and ARMYs fought back then for fair representation and still are sadly 💜

the fandoms and groups were exo exols, big bang vips, blackpink blinks and a few others but mainly those 3.
also the person who said the groups are friends shouldve said they USED to be friends. ever since bts went global in 2017 those groups have not been seen together besides taeyang from big bang and jimins collab, and a few blackpink members at the same fashion events as bts members

  • @aishwaryaahirrao
    @aishwaryaahirrao 17 дней назад +4

If BTS were part of big 3 they would definitely not gotten so much h8 & it's a fact know in industry...
and tbh all this started cuz they were not from big 3, overpowering a popular group from big 3 at that time..to be specific EXO and Big Bang..so EXO-Ls and VIPs were the biggest h8ters of BTS..still are.. including blinks and millions of other fandoms.. kpopies hv always been like this towards BTS and ARMY..and ppl wonder why majority of ARMYs are not multi stans🚶🏻‍♀️sorry for naming the groups and all, but i get flashbacks of those incidents and can't hold back.. specially after watching these vids..i can forget but never forgive those fandoms
The story of BTS is really atypical of K-pop in general. BTS began to gain strength internationally before in Korea, in fact when the Korean industry realized what was happening with BTS it was already too late and they had already begun their rise.
The irony of all this is that it was precisely the mistreatment and attacks by the industry, the media and the Kpop fandoms that gave the strength to ARMY to undertake their own fight to support the boys, the fandom understood that the The only way to protect them was to make them so big that they were untouchable.
ARMY began with translations, raising funds to pay for advertising screens, articles in magazines, paying for RUclips Adds but in this case, since it could not be with official material from the boys, it was done by directing them to BTS fancams, they began to organize in block international fanbases for voting on programs and competitions, raise funds to sponsor the purchase of music for fans who did not have the resources, support the reactions of RUclips channels ETC ETC ETC
Everything exploded with the Billboard 2017 when BTS won their first award in the USA because this gave them a huge boost that attracted many new fans, which gave even more strength to ARMY to continue giving everything for the boys. So the reason that BTS is this huge is cuz nor the k-pop industry or the mediaplay helped them unlike “big 3” company groups.. ARMYs are the reason that helped BTS in their journey..it was like a grassroot movement made by fans💜

There is also the most recent drama, one of the biggest, if not the biggest, Min heejin, ceo of ador under which new jeans are, payed for a mega anti bts campaign (anti le sserafim and Ilitt too) to lower hybe shares and shared confidential info with investors/company outside hybe so she would be able to take new jeans out of hybe, but she was caught by hybe, the case is now in court, there is much more details but the amount of paid hate bts received for the last half year is crazy, false rumours that they are in cult, plagiarism, sajegi all over again and overall hate. Because of that I stopped listening to new jeans, cause they and their parent support that evil woman
For more info there is a video by boracity about this

The fact that you have heard so many bad things about ARMY isn't surprising at all, unfortunately... People always tend to mock BTS and ARMY and then call us toxic for defending ourselves because it's "their opinion" - even when we're polite. And fans from other fan bases love to pose as ARMYs to be as toxic as possible (as shown by some of the anti-BTS projects in the video) just to hurt ARMY and BTS' reputation. I'm not saying that there aren't toxic "ARMYs" out there but as a fanbase, we don't consider them ARMYs. They're BTS fans if they want but not part of ARMY. There's also a lot of toxic solo stans out there, unfortunately
You should watch Boracity Magazine's video essays on BTS. They are really well done and interesting 💜
Also, for the Australian comedian, you should really watch the full segment. There were multiple people just making really awful jokes and belittling them. They constantly get "jokes" like those. It's never funny and there's always racist remarks

I am successful and I love to hate, especially towards fake reactors (you are not one of those fake reactors so don't worry haha). I just don't care haha. Also, what happened to know thy enemy? I like to hate with facts and understand the people I hate towards.

I do get the hate though, they're too successful for their own good.
To scale, Blackpink is named as 2nd after BTS. But they're very very very far behind BTS.
BTS have six #1 songs in BB hot 100. Blackpink haven't even reached at least Top10 in their whole career. But BTS solo members Jungkook & Jimin had each #1s recently.
Blackpink's highest peak of the said chart is only #13. With a full english single & western Collab w/ Selena Gomez.
Meanwhile, BTS had a b-side or side track full Korean no Collab at #1.
BTS' 'dynamite' song alone generated 7k jobs, and generated comparable to the whole 12-year career of the group Big Bang.
Not to mention, even before HYBE became a thing, Big Hit with BTS as the only group, had surpassed the other big 3 companies combined starting from scratch, I can't imagine the jealousy & hate. 7 nobodies from a nobody agency.
HYBE's current assets is 3 trillion USD. The other companies haven't even reached a trillion yet.

I feel like the pettiness of the big companies is the driving force for how the fans think. If the companies weren't so obsessed with supplanting BTS constantly, they are so focused on "beating them" or having "the next bts" or getting awards that BTS have gotten when they should realize especially now more the ever BTS is the driving force for Kpop as a business and they make more money with BTS being here then not being here. Despite me personally believing that BTS is an anomaly in Kpop and it's never been about them being "a Kpop group" it's all to do with them as amazing authentic artists and good human beings. But putting my personal thoughts aside from a business stand point and looking at the financials being reported in Korea about while BTS has been away in the military the other kpop companies have seen a rapid decrease in profits and now we are seeing Korea media write articles about BTS hoping they will save kpop when they come back in 2025. So even the financial side sees that kpop companies benefit more from BTS being an active group and have been leading it. So companies like SM and YG continuing to be so salty wanting their "glory days" back when they controlled everything so they continue to pursue tearing BTS down seems very MHJ in that it's biting the hand that feeds you. They've been studying BTS success since 2017 (possibly before that) and still to this day have learned all the wrong lessons looking for a get rich quick scheme, being obsessed with controlling their artists and treating them like disposable objects.

@@roguechevelle yes I totally agree, the driving force of Army is literally their hate towards the injustice BTS get.
If the other companies had let BTS be, ARMYs wouldn't have worked so hard to make BTS more popular because there is no need to.
But thanks for the hate campaign and hate trains initiated by other companies, BTS had bigger publicity compared to most groups even though the media towards BTS is negative, however, negative publicity was still publicity.
BTS strategy was so simple but no one have the patience. BTS strategy was just basically effective fandom cultivation, it is a very painfully slow process but the fans they earn are very smart & loyal and did pretty much the promotions. In most cases, you'd need promotions to get fans, BTS however had fans first, those fans went on & translated their contents and spread it.
