@Daniel Perlov Vocal terminology is a very tricky thing. Let me inform you on the details so that things are clearer. When you sing, the vocal folds (also called vocal chords, but folds is more accurate) come fully together from bottom to top in a sort of waving motion, and how fast they do this is what we perceive as different pitch. Faster = higher pitch and vice versa. The sound they make by themselves is very similar to the sound of someone blowing on a trumpet or saxophone mouthpiece without connecting the rest of the instrument. Kinda like a duck call. Now, there is a phenomenon called resonance that comes into the picture. Resonation, in short, is what happens when sound waves (which are very complex in of themselves) reflect off of a hard surface. So, when you sing in the shower, the walls are acting as a resonance chamber. In the same way, certain parts of your vocal mechanism act as resonance chambers and manipulate the sound produced by your vocal folds, and your articulators (lip, teeth, tongue) change that sound into words. Your "voice box", which is called the Larynx, is the vocal mechanism which houses your vocal folds and some mechanisms which help adjust resonance. There are different thoughts on "registration," but generally speaking, there is a chest voice, which is primarily utilizing your larynx's thyroarytenoid cartilage in the muscular act of singing, and is also what generally occurs in speech. You should be able to put a hand on your chest and feel this buzz. Head voice is the predominant use of a "lighter" laryngeal mechanism called the cricothyroid cartilage and the resonation is "felt" more in the head space. Of course, both of these cartilages are always active, and registration is a really complex thing that has many different avenues. The sound of a tenor singing a high C with predominant chest vs primary head is very different, but both of them are "full voice," or modal voice. There is a low extreme and high extreme (different for other voice types) where one takes over so much more than the other that the contrast is much more noticeable. In a male, you could look up a singer like Dimash and hear his very high lighter notes, and that is head voice of almost entirely cricothyroid engagement. But, he will also use a head and chest "mix" (closer to even engagement of both cartilages) on the same notes he sang very light and easy in a song like S.O.S. So, what is falsetto? Well falsetto is not a register, but a stylistic use of head voice. Both men and women have a chest and head voice (with some slight differences, mechanically the same instrument) and are therefore capable of falsetto. Falsetto is a primary cricothyroid engagement head voice, but where the folds do not come completely together. This means that some of the breath that passes between your folds to make them vibrate is escaping. This is what Billie Eilish sounds like, very light sound with breath in it. This sound is falsetto. If the cartilage engagement was the same, but the folds fully closed, you would have head voice, and if you used the thyroarytenoid cartilage more predominantly, you would have chest voice.
@Daniel Perlov I remember this video (ruclips.net/video/hCmeW_NWlHE/видео.html) that explains it in quite understandable way, what and how. Atleast it's the way my vocal teacher explained it to me.

Sam Perry? Simon Davies? Mitchell Brunings? This video literally only has ONE (Jordan Smith) that can even remotely be considered a top 10 performance for males! This channel is complete shit at making these lists...
He's the lead singer of the band Slaves as of earlier this year. He replaced Jonny Craig, and as a massive JC fan I gotta say, I feel Matt fits them better. Edit: A letter
because the list was made by a millennial... some of these people shouldn't be on a top 40 best male auditions. They probably didn't even watch the first 5 seasons. Surprised Jordan made this list.

Basically have a guitar or sing country and you’ll be on this list

Christian morgan

Thank you very much
God bless you always 🙂
Where is..
Chris Blue
Sawyer Fredericks
Christian Cuevas
Jej Vinson
Matthew Schuler
Damien
Billy Gilman
😭😭😭
Sam Perry? Simon Davies? Mitchell Brunings? This video literally only has ONE (Jordan Smith) that can even remotely be considered a top 10 performance for males! This channel is complete shit at making these lists...
Forgot about Jesse Cambell
Chris Blue is the voice GOAT.
I really, really like Diego Val's audition too.
Jej vinson!!!!😒😒🙄
Preston Pohl was robbed!
9.20 - In no disrespectful way I'm just curious if he's on the 'hooked on the look' show as Cara Delevingne, as he's doing amazing on both shows 😍💛.
Dave Fenley!!! I just had to go watch his audition from americas got talent. His mom is the best support ever!!! she rocks
Thanks!! Follow my YT channel! New song coming 1/28!
I’ve watched Dave Fenley’s audition so many times
ProWrasslinGalaxy nah Dave Fenley’s voice has much more of an impact in my opinion
Matt Mc Andrew is awesome. Especially his later performances.
He's the lead singer of the band Slaves as of earlier this year. He replaced Jonny Craig, and as a massive JC fan I gotta say, I feel Matt fits them better.
Edit: A letter
He got robbed....should have one
Matt never did much for me.
The best thing to happen is he didn't win his career wouldn't be the same he does what he wants he just got noticed man voice is incredible
How is trevin hunte not in here. Literally one of the best the Voice has ever heard
because the list was made by a millennial... some of these people shouldn't be on a top 40 best male auditions. They probably didn't even watch the first 5 seasons. Surprised Jordan made this list.
Yep. I cried like a baby during his blind. I remember Christina looking like she couldn’t even believe what she was hearing.
Trevin hunte and amanda brown are 2 of the best the competition ever seen the fact that trevin isn't in this is bull
Was looking for this in the comments. Was initially surprised Trevin wasn't on but even more surprised it took so long to find someone else here saying it.
@@davidbennett4179 I'm a millennial. I'm almost 31. I definitely remember Trevin Hunte (and in fact when the voice first started and AI well before that). I think you mean Gen Z.
Dude who sang River has a really dope voice. I mean they all do, but I felt that and obviously the next dude crushes Chandelier.
They were all good but Chandelier had the best voice and for the first time I actually understood the words!
5:17 Loving everything about this dude, his tone, the song he chose and his fashion sense, that single strap on his overalls, just says laid back and cool as a cucumber, not to mention his fro.
Definitely got to check out more from this guy.🤩🤔💪💪🌈✌️💥
Take me to that river
Jordan Smith is the best... My all time forever favorite....
This list is incomplete without Sawyer Fredericks. He had by far the best audition of all.
I agree, Sawyer must be on this list. I disagree with a few of these too.
Dave’s audition still gives me chills
Because his voice is POWER. Have you heard his AGT/Xfactor audition from 2010. He's the definition of POWER in vocalism

Who else loves the way the families start celebrating
So good and full of talents. It was epic reaction from John Legend when he got blocked by Adam Levine. Awesome. 🙏 Thank you for shatter.
"When i was your man" OMG , incredible
Their family's reactions always get me. Yes, he did it! :)
John Butterfly me too!!
