I'd rather Bib spend time working on new content instead of having him spend time working on something that already exists and that everyone can just go rewatch.
It’d be cool to see a recap video to put the entire series in perspective, but I think it would be better to just make one big recap video at the end of the series instead of one every ten episodes.
Honestly that'd be super helpful. Since these are a bit infrequent it would be awesome to just have points you can fall back and get the jist of how the world is at the moment and what's all around than binging hours of, albiet great, content. It wouldn't need to require super detail about how and why they evolved just what makes them special and their place in the world
The tears and asphalt make a new biome, saltwater species are able to move in easily as well as brackish water species, however, the mucous in the tears presents an immediate obstacle, to overcome this a far few scavangers begin feeding on it, making them the new primary food source rather than herbavores, many species will develop air breathing to help offset the oxogen poor enviorment, all species will develop limbs to help with the increase in viscoucity that the mucous causes in the liquid

Things I am expecting in part 11: .Island Dwarfism .Island Gigantism .Species filling niches on islands they traditionally wouldn't on the mainland .Species that are now extinct on the mainland, but are still alive on islands .Flying animals becoming land animals
I'll add interbreeding between species that are separated by geology, but can still mingle successfully, thus creating new breeds entirely, followed by an analysis of how the resultant species breeds within it's own limited genepool and/or with those around them. I.e. that one time George, the Chad mainland finch, managed to land on a far away island and successfully bred himself a new species with the finches there that had significantly diverged from his own species.
i wish i was rich so i could give Bib 1 million dollars to invest in this series. This is so fucking well made, you can see the love and pride he feels for this series, amazing job as always!!

Do you imagine a "Walking with-style" documentary series of this ? , it would be awesome. "Walking with Aliens : life out of Earth". The first episode can be : "The Worms and the flowers" , and can talk about the Arms Race of Polypodia and Anthostoma. The second one can be : "The First Steps" , and follow the life of a member of the Osteopoda while tells about the new land life-style of the animals of TIRA. And it could be only the start point of this documentary series. Just imagine it.
My favorite aspect of this series is the variety of art used to illustrate these creatures, in addition to his regular 3d models - and they're all credited!
I’m pretty sure after every episode we all forget about it for two-three months until our minds collectively remember this series and we manifest a new episode.

I often try and work it out in my head. Between episode's 7 8 and 9 there were gaps of 74 and 75 days, so I thought this was standard but 9 and 10 had a gap of 92 so bib probably put more work into it. If we overestimate and say 92 days is the largest gap we will see, the gap will land the next episode at the 22nd of June or earlier :D

Just an idea, you could do a ten episode recap summarizing the major evolutionary branches so far. Love the videos and don’t rush yourself!

@@melvinklark4088
Yes

Breaking news:
Tears of joy flow through the streets as a new alien biosphere episode is released

“Why does everything just keep evolving in to crabs??”
Good question lol
Crabs are besides some others like sharks, crocodiles and cockroaches probably the best evolutionary concept. These are one of the living forms, existing the longest time span on earth.
@@sharkquark6252 don't forget rats/moles, those things are basically as similar to the original cynodonts as crocodiles are to archosaurs of the same time period.
@@theapexsurvivor9538 Crocodiles aren't that similar to non-crocodylomorph archosaurs.
Even some crocodylomorphs like notosuchidae are still quite different.
There were phytosaurs which were similar to crocodiles, but those weren't archosaurs and instead an example of convergent evolution.
@@lievenvanloo6011 and rats/moles aren't really that similar to the early cynodonts either, both are just the most similar living relatives, and are about as similar.

Kiryu’s illustrations of the black wooly Allobrachids at 23:13 are so beautiful and wonderfully done. I really appreciate all the hard work that all of the artists involved in this project have put in, it’s really stunning work
You can really feel the momentum of them bashing together, you can see the bunching of the muscles bracing for impact. Simply majestic
It's already hard to draw tetrapods with such dynamic movement even though we're surrounded by them. Drawing megafaunal octopods with such insight into dynamic forces that's it's more realistic than the source material is a fantastic accomplishment!
Things I am expecting in part 11:
.Island Dwarfism
.Island Gigantism
.Species filling niches on islands they traditionally wouldn't on the mainland
.Species that are now extinct on the mainland, but are still alive on islands
.Flying animals becoming land animals
i guess you werer correct
I'll add interbreeding between species that are separated by geology, but can still mingle successfully, thus creating new breeds entirely, followed by an analysis of how the resultant species breeds within it's own limited genepool and/or with those around them.
I.e. that one time George, the Chad mainland finch, managed to land on a far away island and successfully bred himself a new species with the finches there that had significantly diverged from his own species.

This series is absolutely amazing. 🤤 A must see for every Biological Student, in my opinion. When I think back... Bib starts with 2 animals and 1 "plant" ... and now looks what happend to this "tiny" alien world. These immense biodervisity is breathtaking. And we are just in the early "midgame" 😨🤯

It's also possible that the male Corythobrachid's crests could develop large eyespots to intimidate and confuse predators, thus increasing their survival rate.
Everything on this planet has pretty small eyes though, so it wouldn’t make sense for an animal that large to develop eyespots.
Maybe large false "claws" that make his mostly-for-display pedipalps look dangerous?
