    I know most people probably don’t consider it as interesting, but I’d love to see more attention being given to the plants and sessile animals. I’d love to see different clades of anthostomes and gastrozoans adapt to life in different habitats. I’d also love it if you gave more attention to the malacoformes. I mean, they are some of the most diverse and numerous species on your planet. I’d love to see the evolution of colonial clades like ants, bees and wasps, or maybe something like the webspinning of spiders on earth, or flying malacoformes, considering how important flying insects are on earth.

    • @bloodypigeon
      @bloodypigeon 3 года назад +57

      He stated that the malacoformes were so diverse that he would not cover them as that would be hour long episodes, and if you want more anthostomes and gastrozoans just remember that he accepted the fanart in part 7, so you can say that all the diverse forms in there are canon

    • @hansmorktopphol901
      @hansmorktopphol901 3 года назад +90

      @@bloodypigeon The fact that the malacoformes are too diverse to detail accurately, which I get, but that doesn’t mean he has to ignore them entirely. This episode he detailed two new clades. He could keep doing something like that. Developing two or three new clades per episode, showing how such small organisms might adapt to the various environments he covers. There are a lot of interesting things that are done by arthropods here on Earth, like how ants, wasps and bees form colonies. To keep this arthropod analogy going, he could have a clade like ants develop colonies, and then leave it there, without having to detail the thousands of clades of ants. Basically, I would like him to talk about malacoformes a little more, but that doesn’t mean he has to talk about them constantly, there is an area in-between

    I can see a third lineage of flying animals appearing. A branch of the Tanybrachidae evolves a patagium like the Opisthoptera and Pleuroptera. Unlike these two groups however, these Tanybrachidae's patagium could evolve similar to how a birds or pterosours, where the skin is attached to the second pair of limbs, leaving the other limbs free.
    To not compete against the already-established groups of flying lineages, these flying Spider-monkey could instead take up the roles of nocturnal and/or seashore flyers.
    Perhaps they could even evolve into roles that were not possible for the Opisthoptera, becoming large flying predators.
