Modric & Bale are out of contract at the end of the season so that frees up enough in the wage bill to be able to accommodate them and the likes of Kroos, Asensio, Isco and Militao can command decent fees once clubs can spend normally after a year of crowds in. I see M'Bappe & Pogba signing deals with them in January as soon as they are allowed. Haaland will arrive in July for his bargain clause price and Conte will arrive as the new Manager in June with Ancelotti becoming director of football. But this season's team will go deep in the league and the CL: Courtois; Carvajal, Nacho, Militao, Alaba; Casemiro, Kroos; Vinicius, Bale, Hazard; Benzema with Rodrygo, Modric, Isco, Asensio & Vasquez from the bench is a serious team and most of them have something to prove.
Modric will renew for 1 more year. Isco, Marcelo, Ceballos, Bale will leave. RM are trying to sell Hazard as well which can open up significant money. Kroos & Modric will retire in RM after maybe 2-3 years, maybe Marcelo will too (end of this season).

@@iMadrid11 yea.especially for top players..literally sponsors cover all their salaries. Perez once said expensive players are the cheapest ones
I think the Real Madrid plan is a pretty canny one from how i see it...
But this season's team will go deep in the league and the CL:
Courtois; Carvajal, Nacho, Militao, Alaba; Casemiro, Kroos; Vinicius, Bale, Hazard; Benzema with Rodrygo, Modric, Isco, Asensio & Vasquez from the bench is a serious team and most of them have something to prove.
At least Real didn't hold Ronaldo against his will and sold him with good amount of money. Unlike Barca and Messi fiasco
Tebas and La Liga need Real to sign a superstar, as he can't expect that with Barca. Look at how La Liga social medias put anyone they considered stars as their poster boys, they're struggling. Serie A could stick CR7 anytime, Ligue 1 with the addition of Messi now, EPL with their vast number of 2nd tier superstars available. He should relax that financial rule a bit.
Hazard, Coutinho, Suarez, Dembele, Bale, Griezmann, Joao Felix, Modric, Kroos, Kounde and more are still superstars and play in Spain. And then there is the young ones like Valverde, Fati, Pedri, Vinicius, Rodrygo, De jong and soon Mbappe
Bayern are simply not spending either and it worries me. We have been known as smart spenders on most transfers but the board talks about players like Sabitzer (18-20M) as breaking the budget or what not
They have become very careful. I imagine they are not that happy with having spent 80 mil. for Hernandez. But this fear clearly paralyzeses the team.
Mbappe, anyday of the week
Save the money, and buy haaland next summer . Mbappe is coming for free.
Wouldn't it be better to not get mbappe not this year but next year for free and then spend the saved up money on haaland?
Mbappe might sign a new contract, too big a risk for Florentino's reputation
@@saubrma6832 yeah then I'd go all in on mbappe too, but getting mbappe and haaland in the same window would simply be too good to be true anyway
Because Mbop might sign a new contract, not only will that make signing him even harder, but even more expensive

While Chelsea, Man City & PSG have certainly exacerbated the question of transfer expenditure, wages & funding - it's important to remember the original sinners were Barcelona and Real Madrid who broke records multiple times throughout the 90's and the 00's. It's clearly taken it's toll and now here we are with Europe's biggest clubs at sea because they were banking on a big pay day with the ESL.

Beginning of the end for Real Madrid spending. If they need to save money year on year to make a big purchases, how can they compete with Man City, Chelsea who are able to spend £100m-£200m ever year? This reminds me to AC Milan, who were the big spenders in the 80s-90s.

That's not the case. R. Madrid wasn't spending money because of the pandemic and are a well run club unlike those clubs you mentioned. Now they have the money to spend bigger than anyone else. Shitty can spend 100M on Grealish, Madrid will spend that on Mbappe.

U don't know Perez😂😂
You their accountant?
It would be stupid to buy mbappe now for anything more than 110 million since he can come for free next summer. One year is not worth that much. Perez is so fixated on Mbappe tho that I think he will do it. He's willing to throw away the balance of the team for mbappe. We need another center back this summer and he wont buy one as long as he dreams about mbappe. Also means we probably wont be able to get haaland next summer if we buy mbappe for too much now. He should've learned his lesson with hazard after overpaying with a year left there. It just became an even worse deal afterwards due to his injuries
It's not stupid because Perez wants to keep a good relationship with PSG and getting him free will piss them off. Barca wanted to sign Verrati and PSG retaliated getting Neymar and now Messi. Perez has great relationship with all clubs so they can sit and negotiate for player. Barcelona's tactic is to tell the player to not go and train until he is sold and now clubs like Dortmund and Liverpool hate Barcelona. Hazard was worth that much money because he was the best in the PL, but he was careless with fitness and unlucky with an ankle injury.
BTW, there is enough money for Haaland and more players for next season.
If you say the athletic one more time I will internally combust
Unless Perez is gone, the sh*tshow will continue

La Liga is dying, like how Serie A suffered. And this maybe the upcoming fate of the EPL. Wasting money to get glories with little to return.

Real aren’t spending as they are like 900 million in debt just behind Barcelona aren’t they?
Educate yourself and then come back
the net debt is just €46m as of now, the rest debt has to be paid in 30 years with €30m/year instalment as it was loaned for the stadium reconstruction. They aren’t spending money cz they aren’t owned by a rich oil owner, they can only spend what they earn and cz of Covid they aren’t able to generate revenue which will be back to normal once the lockdown restrictions ease of, so they’ll be back to competing with the oil clubs
