Hi Joe, I've bought a number of items from you and this regulator you sold me in Feb of 2017 is wonderful - and still works flawlessly. I used it just yesterday (12/30/20) to fill both of my .22 PCP guns (a FX Royale 400 and a Benjamin Marauder). I turn the knob slowly and have no fear of over-charging my PCP guns - the increase in pressure is smooth and predictable (I can easily see it happening). I've never used it to tether my tank (a HammerHead 66 Cu Ft carbon fiber tank that I also bought from you) to my PCP guns, but can see the advantage while shooting from the bench with the gun connected to the tank. Currently, I only use it when I connect my tank to one of my PCP guns.
So if my understanding is correct, this is essentially giving yourself a larger capacity tank. Does this then mean that if the fill port was in a less awkward position you could technically use a tank as a backpack for in the field. For example if you had a bullpup and fill port was underside of buttstock then the airline could run comfortably underarm to a tank on one's back.
This is really cool because I believe it could theoretically lead to a 50 cal double barrel fully automatic air gun mounted in the back of a truck connected to a manifold of 8 scuba tanks.
Joe, Thank You, I like the idea of putting the gauge on your shooting bench . I now feel safer and will start to use mine. To you and your crew, and family's.. Have a nice Thanksgiving
Thanks for the video Joe. I use a similar setup with my SCBA tanks only I use a 4500 psi paintball tank with a Ninja 2900 psi regulator to my airgun. Works great for benchrest shooting with no shot curve drop because the pressure is constant.
Thanks for the input. FYI, We have a similar paintball type regulators set-up for 3000 PSI if you ever need another. And it is very accurate with pressure. We put ours on a 114 Cu In tank instead of a 90 so that it gives about 30% more shots, without being much larger. Price is $299
I'm sure enjoying mine - it makes topping of my PCP guns a simple thing to do. Hey Joe, I leave the regulator connected to my tank, unless I'm filling the tank, but a few times I forgot to turn the tank off after filling a gun. Every thing holds just fine. Is is okay to just leave the tank "on" and let the regulator handle it.
Hello there...great videos...I was wondering if you could give me an honest answer..I would like to know when I should worry about corrosion in my pcp air gun cylinders...I only use a pump..like when I should look into tossen them...our replace them..I have a 45.cal texan...tactical sniper in 9mm and a hatsan bt65...thank you much sir..just trying to hey alittle piece of mind being that the company's I bought these from can't give me a straight answer.
Hugo Ezparza Amount of moisture in the air (humidity) which depends on many factors. bottom line, I live in Southern California, which is a semi arid desert. We still get a lot of moisture in our compressors (tablespoons of water every time we fill a tank). We need to use a moisture filter. If you lived in other places more moist than a semi arid desert, you would even get more moisture.
Hey joe looking on getting a tank from you but the website is kinda tuff to work . I wanna pick up a tiger shark set up to fill a maurader what can you do for me price wise the great white just 2 much right now thanks !
AirTanksForSale.com was written while I was an engineer in aerospace. It is crude, but it is still #1 on Google search engine so we supplemented with a friendlier page at www.ExpertHPA.com , In short, we prefer a phone call anyway. We pick up on the first or second ring, and would rather have you talk to a human being so you purchase what will work best for you.

Hey Joe, I bought your great white tank and I see you have this filled slightly above 4500 psi,.. I have a compressor, and just fill to the 4500 psi line out of safety reasons.. 2 questions, I know it is it ok to safely go above the rating by a 100 or so, but is it ok to almost go to 5000 with your tank? like say fill to 48- or 4900 safely? I understand about drop off , as I'm aware of cooling and the drop off line factor when filling a tank..thx bud And 2- what is the burst disk rated for on the Great White Tank? is it a 7.5k?
We only recommend filling to 4500 PSI. No use going higher than that. If I told people they could 10% over-fill, they'd go 15%. So I say fill to 4500 PSI. And to be honest, few compressors can go higher, and it beats the snot out of most to do so. If one has their own compressor, better to fill more times to 4500 PSI or less, vs. over-filling and beating up their compressor. I actually have our burst disk set lower than 7500 PSI (It's 6AM here, so I can't verify at this moment, but IIRC I specified 5500PSI for our disks). We are OEM to a couple of VERY large companies, and one thing I wanted to avoid was people significantly overfilling their tanks with our valve. We haven't had any issues with normal pressures (4500 PSI), and I feel safer keeping it lower. It never failed yet.

It's always best to disconnect high pressure when you are not there to monitor whatever could happen.
