- Israel's parliament has voted to approve a bill that would designate the UN's agency for Palestinian refugees as a terrorist organisation.
The bill also calls for a complete severing of ties from UNRWA.
Israel previously said UNRWA employees took part in the October 7 attacks, but an independent review concluded there's no evidence to back the claim.
The bill still needs to clear several more steps before being implemented.
Chris Gunness is a former UNRWA Spokesman and he says this bill is being pushed forward based on a lie.

The population of Gaza consists mostly of refugees or descendants of refugees from the 1948 Nakba, that is Palestinians kicked out of their villages and towns in order for Israel to be created in 1948.
