- Hamas has fired a barrage of rockets from Gaza towards Israel - setting off air raid sirens as far away as Tel Aviv for the first time in months.

According to Israeli media, two people suffered light injuries. Hamas said it launched the rockets in response to the "massacre of civilians" in Gaza, where 81 people were killed in the last day.

Israel's territorial ambitions are evident, and they seek to expand their land holdings. and yes I condemn the attacks by Hamas, it's worth acknowledging that without Hamas, the Palestinian cause might face gradual extinction through displacement and violence, erasing the Palestinian identity.
Also I do understand the historical suffering of the Jews, including their persecution and violence in the West.

there is no Palestinian Identity to erase. They were originally and still are just Arabs living in the Palestine region. The British gave the Arabs and Jews living there both the name Palestinians after WW1. So this whole Palestine identity is all a lie until a Palestine State is formally created. And it's very questionable whether they deserve one after what they did in 2005 when Israel pulled out of Gaza. The Palestinians do not need Hamas for their cause. They made bad mistakes by rejecting the Palestinian state offered to them by the UN in 1947. They had the West Bank and Gaza from 1948 to 1967. The discussion in this war is absurd.
First. Israel acted selflessly to live in peace with the Palestinians in Gaza. It was more than a decade ago when Israel itself relocated thousands of individuals living in Gaza with lethal force from their homes to follow the agreement, which obligated the Palestinians in return to stop any kind of aggression towards Israel. The Palestinians had the chance to build a safe, functional, and prosperous livelihood. But the first thing the Palestinians did in return was to elect a government that enshrined the goal of destroying Israel in their constitution. The elected government followed through with its promise. Since its founding, thousands of rockets have flown into Israel. Dozens of civilians died in terrorist attacks. Millions of aid funds - intended for civilian purpose - were misused to build rockets, tunnels, and other nonsense. The crimes committed on October 7th like raping women, killing children, or kidnapping a baby, was Humus has been doing for years.
Secondly. Israel behaved more humanely in this conflict than any other conceivable party in any imaginable conflict. It allowed Palestinians to work in Israel, receive medical care or even migrate into their country. During war, they warn civilians where their military is operating. They admit collateral damage and apologize for it. They saved Sinwar’s life giving him a lethal brain surgery. They treated the daughter of Haniyyas daughter for her complex disease in Israel. While Humus was building rockets and tunnels with all the foreign aid, Israel supplied their civilians with free water and electricity.
The situation is clear. In no other conflict the responsibility for the suffering has been so one sided and clear - in no other conflict have the perpetrators been held accountable so weakly. People with voice and power who claim to reject war have the duty to unequivocally name the culprit of this war and do everything in their power to eliminate them. Everything else is responsibility for the resulting suffering and will extend it

This is the polar opposite in the Qur'an, Surah Al-Anfal Ayah 61 in which even oath breaking deniers/unbelievers are allowed to sue for peace states if the unbelievers they ask for peace, give it to them.

First. Israel acted selflessly to live in peace with the Palestinians in Gaza. The elected government followed through with its promise. Since its founding, thousands of rockets have flown into Israel. Dozens of civilians died in terrorist attacks. Millions of aid funds - intended for civilian purpose - were misused to build rockets, tunnels, and other nonsense. The crimes committed on October 7th like raping women, killing children, or kidnapping a baby, was Humus has been doing for years.
Secondly. Israel behaved more humanely in this conflict than any other conceivable party in any imaginable conflict. It allowed Palestinians to work in Israel, receive medical care or even migrate into their country. During war, they warn civilians where their military is operating. They admit collateral damage and apologize for it. They saved Sinwar’s life giving him a lethal brain surgery. They treated the daughter of Haniyyas daughter for her complex disease in Israel. While Humus was building rockets and tunnels with all the foreign aid, Israel supplied their civilians with free water and electricity.
The situation is clear. In no other conflict the responsibility for the suffering has been so one sided and clear - in no other conflict have the perpetrators been held accountable so weakly. People with voice and power who claim to reject war have the duty to unequivocally name the culprit of this war and do everything in their power to eliminate them. Everything else is responsibility for the resulting suffering and will extend it

On one hand, you have footages and claims of hamas boasting of their attacks against Israel and Israeli soldiers to the applause of many. On the other, for months now we've seen Gazans interviewed over and over again, not once do they seem to be aware or understand that it's the actions of their fighters that are unravelling on their heads. Either you want peace, or you don't. If you want peace, address both belligerents fairly. If you don't, continue to play the naïve card.
