The General explains how Hamas took over Gaza in 2006 after Israel withdrew its forces, and how they rebuilt their military capabilities with Iran's support.
He also argues that the protests and violence against Israelis is fuelled by antisemitism, and many of the soldiers within Hamas are funded by Iran.

When the rockets started to be more than a nuisance Israel decided to develop a defence system in the full knowledge that hamas was digging a network of tunnels, training an army, building rockets and buying weapons.
Instead of destroying hamas 18 years ago Israel allowed hamas to become a formidable enemy. Israel played a cat and mouse game, no country would allow rockets as an every day occurrence knowing it could keep the rocket attacks under control.
In all the years Hamas never attacked any buildings that weren't protected, damaging themw would cause thousands of deaths, Hamas just kept things simmering as it grew stronger.
There is now no way of avoiding war, to do so is to the benefit and advantage of your enemy.

C- Access to Water, Electricity, Telecommunications, Internet and the Borders of Gaza, West Bank and East Jerusalem have been controlled exclusively by Israel for the last 56 years.
How would a nation of more than 5.3 million people feel in a land without an airport and where the basic essentials of life were controlled by other country?
