I know you already reacted to Doomed from this show so I think you should check out Happy Song cause the pit gives me MAD chills every time dude. With the choir and the orchestra it's like it feeds more emotion and energy into the songs. You could see that even people in the orchestra were singing parts haha Here's a link to the whole show dude ruclips.net/p/PL-nBwhpwdfvkGCmcpgNm7lEnJrzR1Fmsk Hopefully that works. Also, I've meant to see why he puts his hand on his chest like that too and I wondered if it had anything to do with checking where he's getting his breath from as he sings to make sure he's doing it correctly??
I love your BMTH serie, you should keep listening their evolution through almbums until you get to amo. And if you are wondering, yes he writtes all of his lirycs. Also if you want to know if he still can scream you really have to react to these live perform video, its just sick: ruclips.net/video/KAoelk6gVoM/видео.html
@@davidescristofaros2241 Idk i like there is a hell but alot of songs sound pretty similar to each other. Sempiternal is alot more unique in my opinion if you compare for exanple Shadow Moses to Hospital for Souls they are completely different

It Never ends is 1 of my faves. But I'm so I to there is a hell right now. Always hated their older stuff, but it really grows on you. Not so much count your blessings. Too chaotic for me.
Oli has always had a very unique singing/screaming voice to me. I can tell him apart form other vocalists, which is something special in the genre. His style also is difficult, which is what led to him damaging his vocal cords a while back. He can transition between singing and screaming in the same word though, which is impressive and helps give BMTH’s songs a lot of emotion. Also, I’ve always taken the hand on his stomach as both a force of habit and a way to tell if he’s using his diaphragm enough so he doesn’t damage his throat.
Same. I got into while she sleeps, as a whole they're great, but the vocalist alone doesn't do it for me. and I heard silence speaks, and it just went for 50 to 100% while Oli does His lil part. Such a bad ass. Only sad that is only like 30 seconds long. And his lice performances have improved so much every year. Seeing them in Jan. Sad AF Jordan not going to be there though. They were the perfect duo. He matched oli's vocals in the bkground perfectly.v gutted
same, mainly when im transitioning from singing to screaming/distorted vocals i tend to grasp at my chest or adoman never understood why i do i just do
He isn't holding his chest, he is holding his diaphragm. If you scream/sing through your diaphragm, it doesn't damage your vocal chords. So he does it to check, if he is using the right singing technique.
What I loved the most about this performance, was how EVERYONE got into the music. Even the performers who didn’t have mics sang “This is Sempiternal!”
The whole gig at The Royal Albert Hall is amazing. Avalanche is a song that I relate to so much. I've listened to it so many times but the version at the Albert Hall gives me goosebumps.
Royal Albert Hall it’s a concert hall on the northern edge of South Kensington, London, and is one of the UK's most treasured and distinctive buildings. In the beginning (and in the background for the rest of the song) you can listen to a real orchestra that give that epic vibe
5:35 have you ever tried screaming, with a melody, with a live orchestra behind you? It takes an incredible amount of air out of your lungs to produce those sounds. The hand helps you control your breathing and shouting so you can feel out how your body reacts to the stress
During this concert Oli was recovering from an operation hence his hand was over his chest to releave the pain.. The money from this peformance was gfted to Cancxer Research UK as his real life friend recently fo8ght and recovered from bone cancer one of his songs in this concert is dedicated to his friend. you have to listen and react to that, its called DROWN.
I saw them in St. Louis a few weeks back while they’re still on their amo tour and brought a friend along who never saw them before. We both agreed that they sound infinitely better live vs studio. When you see them live, you gain a newfound respect for them; so few bands can do what they do
In the begining she was speaking Gaelic/Irish. And Oli Sykes vocals are clean, both in studio and live. Some artists have it others don't and Oli is the definition of having clean vocals.
he holds his chest cause he literally blew himself out screaming before, if you listen to their old music, he was really, really loud (which was fucking awesome)
5:27 Looks like he’s holding his diaphragm, where he draws air from to sing and scream. Holding it gives him better control over his singing :) (I’m not a singer, I just learned from other RUclips vocal coaches)
Choir Noir are the back ground vocalist for the show please check them out there amazing. Love your channel my boy. Much love from Knoxville Tennessee.
Royal Albert Hall in London is the most iconic venue in the world my dude. You should really know that. Watch Pink Floyds performance in there, i recommend to check it out
It Never Ends!!! It’s my favorite from this set! Happy song is another good one, Drown is another one, and Oh No is a great one too. They’re all great! Keep up the reactions man they’re awesome!
Pick any song from the gig at the royal albert hall the whole set is perfection, my favourites off it is True friends, it never ends and drown, seriously watch the whole concert
he holds his chest because he had damaged vocal chords a few year prior to that performance and was still recovering from his Metalcore days with all the ragged screaming.
Taka from One OK is the same way. His voice is SO MUCH better live. Take it from someone whos been front row haha. Oli, Taka, Chester, Chris Cornell are some of the BEST vocalists in rock imo.
Loved your reaction dude! I performed with the choir at this show, please check us out! We're called Choir Noir and we have some covers on RUclips! We also performed with While She Sleeps at the roundhouse which you might enjoy 😊
WOW really. Did you join in with the growl screams on it never ends, cos that sound Sick af. Wish I'd seen this in person. Is it true that the audience didn't know you guys were going to be there? Truly an amazing concert. Did you already like BMTH. All for a children's cancer charity wasn't it. What an amazing thing to do. Love BMTH ❤❤
you should definitely check out the live from Wembley mate, the song "and the snakes start to sing" I PROMESS you have never found something as powerful as this song performed at wembley or check "and the snakes start to sing" even if it's not from a live version but DO A REACT OF IT
I think That's The Spirit is the best door to BMTH, for me it was at least, I went to BMTH after seeing Oli sing in the Tribute Concert for Chester, and that Album showed me that they have something unique just like LP had to me.
@Ervan Tampan I'm not disagreeing with you, I prefer BMTH as well. But you have to admit that OOR's vocalist sounds flawless (live and otherwise) and the band also knows how to put up a show
I know you've been trying out newer videos of bands you've listened to and that you also like songs with real deep lyrics and meaning so I suggest a video that just came out a few hours ago by the band "Beartooth". The song is called "Afterall". You haven't heard this band yet but the lyrics and what they're about are really moving despite it being a high energy song for the most part. The video is cool and the song is super catchy.
You should check out when bring me the horizon played pray for plagues live a couple of days ago. Just search for "bring me the horizon pray for plagues live" and sort by date, and pick one :)
I was watching all of your old bmth videos and came across this but oli holds his chest because his Vocal Cord Ruptured and him Holding down on his chest presses down the pressure he feels when screaming. That’s what I found out though.
Actually if you compare the chorus with the other live performances the vocals always sound the same, so I think it's pre-recorded, but the rest of the song its all live
Doomed live at the royal Albert hall! Amazing intro tbh just react to the entire concert! It’s insane!!! Also royal Albert hall is in London it’s an amazing venue
If you like it, than I would recommend Lord of the Lost. They have a performance full orchestra, and that is incredible. 😊😊😊 gothik meets klassik. And the song "see you soon"
Which other Bring Me The Horizon Performance Should I Check Out?! ( LET ME KNOW IN THE COMMENTS! )

My theory about his hand on his belly, when he's singing: It's better for him to control the breath/air than
Lol it's more probably because of the suffering imo
It's to push air out as needed, if you need to go loud or go for really long notes. Sometimes high ones
That is the main reason. It can also be used to help with the shouting, that is a "scream" but without that much distortion. example at 8:30 "This is"
Doomed at royal Albert hall was the best one, followed by it never ends, in my opinion of course :).
He reacted to Doomed but it got taken down sadly.
i'm in
Pray for plagues though 🤤
It Never ends is 1 of my faves. But I'm so I to there is a hell right now. Always hated their older stuff, but it really grows on you. Not so much count your blessings. Too chaotic for me.
OH MY GOD!!! It's the end theme from "Metal Gear Solid"!!! Songs name is "the best is yet to come", performed by Aoife Ni Fhearraigh.

i hold my chest sometimes when i sing, it's just a comfortable position, no reason really :)
same, mainly when im transitioning from singing to screaming/distorted vocals i tend to grasp at my chest or adoman never understood why i do i just do
@@robbieabbott5995totally, or high vocal fry screams ill hold it sometimes
He isn't holding his chest, he is holding his diaphragm. If you scream/sing through your diaphragm, it doesn't damage your vocal chords. So he does it to check, if he is using the right singing technique.
The orchestra singers are called Choir Noir
The woman singing in the beginning is Kat Marsh she is a bad ass

Vocalists will often put their hand on their diaphragm to help support their voice.

“Avalanche” I think you’ll really like it c;
Avalanche is one of my most favourite pieces from them :D
I’m pretty sure the name of the choir is choir noir I’m not to sure but Ik the main girls name is Kat Marsh. Correct me if I’m wrong rho
You are right. The girl is Kat Marsh.
RAH is in England, and him holding his stomach is he's bracing his diafram to help him with the long screams
The vocals at the beginning are from a choir: Choir Noir
you NEED TO REACT TO OH NO LIVE FROM THE ROYAL ALBERT HALL
Royal Albert Hall is in London.
2:00 choir noir
The Choir is the Choir Noir in they RUclips channel they have covers of Bring Me The Horizon, Architects, etc
he holds his chest cause he literally blew himself out screaming before, if you listen to their old music, he was really, really loud (which was fucking awesome)
You should react to their last 3 albums in full man, you would really enjoy.
Exactly what I was going to say! Those albums are musicaly amazing!!
every album apart from amo.
House of wolves \ bring me the horizon 2014 vainstrean
All the songs from that concert are absolute bangers but i suggest that you check out Sleepwalking/Can You Feel My Heart/ Throne / It Never Ends
BMTH x choir noir that perfect collaboration in live performance!!!!
bring me the the horizon - Can you fell my heart ?💯🔥🔥🔥
This would be awesome

Ah yes! That whole concert is amazing
idk if anyone said it but he holds his heart bc this show in its entirety was personal
Sometimes when you sing you just feel the music and the vibes and do what feels right. That's my guess as to why he is holding his stomach

For the choir in the begining, maybe u can try 'shadow moses choir noir' keyword 😁
An artist better than in live.. you gotta hear "Parkway drive - carion" live .. their most popular song & one of their best concert back in 2008.
he holds that area because he isnt sure if he is screaming/singing right. To tell if your doing it right when you breath in your stomach will rise.
He’s holding his chest cuz when he was younger he sang with his throat and then hi lost his voice, since that happens hi can’t “scream” as he used to.
He holds his chest so he can feel if he is screaming in a healthy way
he holds his chest because he had damaged vocal chords a few year prior to that performance and was still recovering from his Metalcore days with all the ragged screaming.
Holds his chest for breathing exercises/temp with singing
My guy, you have to react to Crucify Me. It's one of the wildest song by BMTH, and it's full of emotions. Highly recommend
