I would never ask for a whole concert reaction, but honestly guys, this concert is perfection. They did it for a cancer charity as well. There are many concerts you wish you could have been at, and this one is probably the top one for me.
One of the primary functions of the composers is timing. He also signals different grounds of instruments. He might signal the woodwinds to increase in amplitude while signaling strings to quiet down some. They really are important.
They are a Chaotic Metalcore band who has added EDM, HipHop,Goth/Industrial in equal measure. They have grown so much as a band since their first album.
This is the best live show I’ve ever seen. This song saved my life and this version is so much emotional it’s insane!! I mean… really…. The best. The orchestra was so good
Conductor helps to keep time, but another role is essentially live mixing the instrument groups. He can tell each group to be louder or softer, as it's basically impossible to tell how loud you're playing compared to every other group, because everyone around you is playing a trumpet/tuba/clarinet etc
When the crowd comes in for the second chorus, I get chills. Every. Single. Time. It's not just the band with the orchestra. The audience gets to perform
I was the sound engineer for the orchestra that night. I do a lot of concerts but this one will never be topped. I still can’t get rid of the goosebumps I got. Big shoutout to the parallax orchestra for trusting me
This whole concert is incredible! You need to definitely do more BMTH. Their whole Sempiternal album is one of my favorite albums. Can you feel my heart, Teardrops, Happy Song, Follow you, Sleepwalking, Shadow Moses, Blessed with a Curse, Drown, Ludens, Throne... I can go on. They are an amazing band!! Just to worn you their older stuff is hard and sounds like a completely different band. Enjoy!
You need more BMTH, they have a lot of great songs, especially on the newest ep. architects also have a show at royal albert hall and it’s also amazing! and more Falling in Reverse. 😊
My guy. The composer is literally instructing the band members. Through his cadence and gestures he can tell people if they are too fast or too slow, too quiet or too loud. He is like the coach on a sports team, he manages the entire thing!
You can't put Bring Me in a single genre. If you go from Pray for Plaques, House of Wolves, Throne, Mantra, songs from Amo, and then the ones on new E.P. You would never believe it isthe same band.
I friggin love your guys intro..and "guess what song were playing today".. Great hints! Great guesses! I look forward to getting up and watchin yall!:)
Parasite Eve by BMTH is another awesome song & video - think you guys will love it. Very unusual with lots to unpack, great melodies, soft synths, hard riffs, creepy video etc. Great to react to.
This song is special to me because the first time I went to see them live out of the 4 times I have this was the first song they performed and its been one of my personal favorites ever since great reaction guys I definitely suggest you react to the rest of this concert it will blow your minds
Shadow Moses, Happy Song, Wonderful Life (with Dani Filth of Cradle of Filth), Throne, In the Dark, Mantra, Obey and Parasite Eve are some of their best stuff. BMTH is kind of like... electro core now? They were originally really hard metalcore, and thankfully grew out of that.
Hollywood, your appreciation for music is always very cool to see. You're just so in wonder about everything and it's great. If you guys want another great one from this concert, you can try out "Can You Feel My Heart". It's captivating. This is a concert that will never come again, and I'm supremely sad that I didn't know about this band at the time to attend it. Thankfully they had a high quality recording of it. The conductor of an orchestra does make sure they're all in time with each other. In that case it's more important that he's in time than anyone else. They can also direct how intensely the music is being played with how intensely they do their hand motions, and I believe they can make little improvisations about the music by changing how they signal people or when they signal them.
BMTH has a different sound each album. The first one is more hard than I like, the last more electronic.... But the few in the middle were just right. Suicide season is one of my favorites of all time.
Its actually called a conductor. Composer MAKES the music. And yes they keep the tempo. And if theres signature changes and tempo changes, they keep u on track. They tell u if ur quiet enough or loud enough. Stuff like that. They can call ur part in if ur just waiting. They keep u on track. There is significance to the “arms”. Its for counting (basically)
When my dad got his PhD, his ceremony was held at the Royal Albert Hall. Even though I wasn't there for BMTH, I'm glad I still got a chance to go there
I was one of the lucky Americans to get a copy of this concert on Blu-ray and CD. I tried to buy with my American debit/credit card. They didn’t accept US debit, and one of my clients noticed I was a little sad. I explained I was upset over a silly situation and I said this was my favorite band and all the proceeds went to Teenage Cancer Trust. The concert was held in the Royal Albert Hall. They immediately produced their Amex and told me to buy it. I paid them back and they are friends of mine to this day.
This show was for charity so all of the orchestra were volunteers which makes it even more special. Also the dude on the left got hit with the bmth effect, you love to see it.
Recently found your channel and been working through the backlog of vids! Would love to see you guys react to the band Amaranthe! The Nexus is a good song to start with, but they have so many good ones! Couple of my other favorites are Drop Dead Cynical and Maximize!
Fun fact: BMTH got their name from the last line at the end of The Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. Jack Sparrow says," Bring me that horizon". And boom, BMTH was born🤟🏼. Love your guys' reactions! I suggest reacting to Spiritbox's live performances on SiriusXm in their official YT channel. There are 3 parts. Her vocals are mindblowing. Have a good day!
This show might be part of the reason i have 4 bmth tats lol the whole Sempiternal and Thats The Spirit albums are stupid good. The new e.p. is no joke either!
You can thank Jordan fish (and his wife) for orchestrating this whole track. The lead singer was going through a messy divorce when this was filmed. Oli came through during parasite Eve. That was all his doing. Still my favorite band and has been since 2014. They put on a great live show.
The composer writes the music, the conductor leads rehearsals and keeps the orchestra in time. The conductor is less necessary when the ensemble is small, but in large orchestras, especially when the music has many moving parts, a visual indication of time is pretty helpful. Also when a piece has many changes in time signature or has fermata (when you have to hold a note for an unspecified length of time), or cesura (sort of like a musical stop sign), or is rubato (ebbing flowing tempo that doesn't stay the same), a conductor is not only helpful, but necessary. Sorry for the long comment, I just wanted to answer the question as best as I could.
You guys should definitely check more from this concert, happy song, shadow Moses, can you feel my heart, throne and more... awesome reaction. Also they just did this concert with orchestra but they are not a symphonic metal band.
It's not metal but pearl jam covering the who's 'love reign or' me' from the vh1 rock honors with a small symphony is one of the greatest live rock performances ever. I encourage you to check it out at some point. Off the charts goosebumps.
I'm definitely starting to appreciate the genius of Olly Sykes. And given the deep mutual admiration between BMTH and Babymetal, my dream show in the next year would have both bands - I SO need to see Kingslayer done live! 🤘😎
Also: orchestras sometimes have piano, only depends on the music at the time. Often you may see a pianist as a bit of a lead instrumentalist when with an orchestra. Love you dudes. 🙏🏻
Great reaction guys hope you react to dayseeker's cover of this song doomed by bring me the horizon it is amazing they also did a cover for architects doomsday and thrice hurricane
2 things: 1. The composer/arranger writes the music for the orchestra 2. The conductor leading the orchestra is necessary because they are accustomed to following a conductor - if you take that away, they’re not used to it.
This would be a first request from me. Would love to see you guys react to Goodbye to Gravity. They were a Romanian rock band which their career ended in tragedy when a fire broke out during their free live show in their hometown of Bucharest killing all members except the singer. Their music is pretty good and it’s a shame never know what would happen if that fire didn’t broke out
I've watched this live performance more than anything in the past 10+ years. No lie... last music video I watched this much... probably 🤔 Air Force Ones lmao
The conductor really is crucial. You look to them to help time when your section starts playing and also look to them at how long to hold notes. They also help a lot with tempo changes in the songs. As for this show, it was a concert that BMTH put on to help raise money for teens with cancer. A childhood friend of Oli's, at the time of this show, had just beaten cancer (sadly, the friend lost his fight in the next 6-12 months I think). The song "I don't know what to say" is actually from a letter that Old started writing to that friend, but then he passed before he could send it. Hearing other songs of theirs can throw you off too cause they've experimented with their sound and evolved over the years introducing different elements and styles into their music as they wanted to. They're one of my favorites.
BMTH may have gotten cleaner in their sound. But their subject matter is still so damn heavy. And no one notices it because they can’t read between the lines
I would never ask for a whole concert reaction, but honestly guys, this concert is perfection. They did it for a cancer charity as well.
There are many concerts you wish you could have been at, and this one is probably the top one for me.
This concert is outright amazing.
YES!! I have this entire show in a list that I watch all the way through all the time haha
When the chorus hits with the orchestra it gives me goosebumps every damn time it’s truly epic
Can You Feel My Heart or Shadow Moses.
My sentiment exactly
One of the primary functions of the composers is timing. He also signals different grounds of instruments. He might signal the woodwinds to increase in amplitude while signaling strings to quiet down some. They really are important.
BMTH sounds different every album since 2013 when they released Sempiternal. This was a great concert
The whole concert is amazing! Please react to more songs of this show.
Shadow Moses is my personal favourite. But I agree, that concert great.

He can tell each group to be louder or softer, as it's basically impossible to tell how loud you're playing compared to every other group, because everyone around you is playing a trumpet/tuba/clarinet etc
i love seeing peoples reactions to songs i love dearly. Your reaction to the chorus coming in the first time is me everytime.
The sheer talent and beauty on display in this performance makes me tear up a little every time...
When the crowd comes in for the second chorus, I get chills. Every. Single. Time. It's not just the band with the orchestra. The audience gets to perform

Just to worn you their older stuff is hard and sounds like a completely different band. Enjoy!
The orchestra did it for free cause of charity and they wanted to be a part of this. epic concert in every way shape or form
Watch Happy Song from the same set, you guys will love that one!
You need more BMTH, they have a lot of great songs, especially on the newest ep. architects also have a show at royal albert hall and it’s also amazing!
and more Falling in Reverse. 😊

Listen "Shadow Moses" by them
I can recommend nearly all Sempiternal
Shadow Moses or Happy Song! The chemistry between the crowd, the band, orchestra, and the choir in those songs is something out of this world special!
I don’t wanna spoil it but “Pray for Plagues” would be an interesting reaction especially after a song like this one. You won’t be ready for it
Hahaha YES 🤣
Smokey rocking the Garbage Pail Kids sweater! A true connoseur of the fine arts of filmmaking 😆
I friggin love your guys intro..and "guess what song were playing today".. Great hints! Great guesses! I look forward to getting up and watchin yall!:)
🦋 Lmfao! 😂 That opening clip! Great request 🙌 James! This song is Indeed 💯% Epic Guys!!! 🔊😋 🎶🎶🎶
Parasite Eve by BMTH is another awesome song & video - think you guys will love it. Very unusual with lots to unpack, great melodies, soft synths, hard riffs, creepy video etc. Great to react to.
You guy need some more BMTH on this channel. BMTH has soo many different sounds
This song is special to me because the first time I went to see them live out of the 4 times I have this was the first song they performed and its been one of my personal favorites ever since great reaction guys I definitely suggest you react to the rest of this concert it will blow your minds

Wonderful life would be interesting to see them react too, especially if they knew as a song it was originally written for limp bizkit!
Hollywood, your appreciation for music is always very cool to see. You're just so in wonder about everything and it's great. I have heard this song a ton of times and love it but I had no idea that they had a tour like this. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Thank You!
They didn’t. This was a one night thing for cancer awareness.
Great reaction! So happy you found this gem! You have to do SHADOW MOSES, IT NEVER ENDS and DROWN from this very same concert please!
BMTH has a different sound each album. The first one is more hard than I like, the last more electronic....
But the few in the middle were just right.
Suicide season is one of my favorites of all time.

Glad u reacted to the first song of this concert! I suggest u to react to the rest of this live album in order! Please and thank u very much!
When my dad got his PhD, his ceremony was held at the Royal Albert Hall. Even though I wasn't there for BMTH, I'm glad I still got a chance to go there
This was actually all put together by the band, ans all done die charity. A children's Cancer trust. The whike concert is just WOW
I'm with you Hollywood. A symphony makes metal better. Felt this way ever since hearing Metallica S&M album.
You HAVE to do Dead Butterflies by Architects. Same building as this and it's a symphonic masterpiece
"Dude, this might be amazing here!"
So much accuracy!
My fav from them is Mantra but this is just incredible. Thank you
Architects Animals “the orchestral version” y’all would enjoy also, love your reactions
Hed PE - The Meadow.. gotta react to the whole song including the hidden track (9:34). Y'all would definitely appreciate this whole track..
I was one of the lucky Americans to get a copy of this concert on Blu-ray and CD. I tried to buy with my American debit/credit card. They immediately produced their Amex and told me to buy it. I paid them back and they are friends of mine to this day.
Since I first saw this concert on RUclips I have wondered if everyone involved could sense just how beautiful a thing they were creating...
This show was for charity so all of the orchestra were volunteers which makes it even more special. Also the dude on the left got hit with the bmth effect, you love to see it.
They have at least 20 fire ass songs spanning several albums. Definitely should dive into their catalogue.
you have to see drown and crucify me, a little bit of what they looked like and how they sound today
All those people in the orchestra VOLUNTEERED their Time!
Recently found your channel and been working through the backlog of vids! Would love to see you guys react to the band Amaranthe! The Nexus is a good song to start with, but they have so many good ones! Couple of my other favorites are Drop Dead Cynical and Maximize!

Also Oli got inspired by Linkin Park and thought of creating a band😃🤘
great concert overall
Can we talk about how perfect the camera cuts in this are too?
This show might be part of the reason i have 4 bmth tats lol the whole Sempiternal and Thats The Spirit albums are stupid good. The new e.p. is no joke either!
You can thank Jordan fish (and his wife) for orchestrating this whole track. The lead singer was going through a messy divorce when this was filmed.
Oli came through during parasite Eve. That was all his doing. Still my favorite band and has been since 2014. They put on a great live show.
Also "doomed" studio version is good aswell
Where is the kingslayer reaction? I can't find it
Same here
True friends is an epic track.

Sorry for the long comment, I just wanted to answer the question as best as I could.
Suggestion:
BMTH: Sleepwalking
Dance Gavin Dance - Prisoner
Amazing band. They played right before TOOL at Rockville. It was amazing. Happy Song, Shadow Moses, Mantra, Teardrops, Pray for Plagues
You guys should definitely check more from this concert, happy song, shadow Moses, can you feel my heart, throne and more... awesome reaction. Also they just did this concert with orchestra but they are not a symphonic metal band.
This live version of this is also on Spotify I listen to the whole thing and pretend I’m there lol
Avenged Sevenfold- "Critical Acclaim"
Awesome fuckin suggestion!
@@XDEMONENJAGERX98 Thanks bro 👍
Once again and never never never heard about this band holyshit but here we go here for it
It's not metal but pearl jam covering the who's 'love reign or' me' from the vh1 rock honors with a small symphony is one of the greatest live rock performances ever. I encourage you to check it out at some point. Off the charts goosebumps.
Architects - "Animals" (Orchestral Version) - Live at Abbey Road - Absolutely sensational.
Smoky's face was priceless!
These songs hit on the album, but they hit DIFFERENT with the live orchestra.
Bring Me The Horizon - "Can You Feel My Heart"
I'm definitely starting to appreciate the genius of Olly Sykes. And given the deep mutual admiration between BMTH and Babymetal, my dream show in the next year would have both bands - I SO need to see Kingslayer done live! 🤘😎
Bro a band called muse mix orchestra piano and electric guitar when they do live gigs.

You know the song good when you start synchronize head banging.
If you like this, you guys will love Pray For Plagues by BMTH. It doesn't have the orchestra but it's just as special.
Every album is different and has a different vibe behind them.
I love how everyone loved that performance
They are a UK band from Sheffield
Please do Can You Feel My Heart from this same concert. It’s so powerful
Teardrops by these guys is great!
Happy Song Live at the Royal Albert Hall
The guy from the left looks like ACZINO 😅
More people need to react to this vid 👌🔥
I'm from England and bmth live not far from me this concert was a one off it was amazing, avalanche brilliant song
Goosebumps again bro.
Goosebumps everytime
Other notable Royal Albert Hall legends: Lisa Stansfield, Snow Patrol, Opeth and Simply Red.
This would be a first request from me. Would love to see you guys react to Goodbye to Gravity. Can you guys do more Sevendust!? Black, Rumble Fish, or Waffle? Thanks for all you guys do!
Hah couldn't come up with doomed but he pulled out stifle 😆
My favorite part of every reaction is Hollywood trying to get Smokey to guess the name of the song.
BMTH may have gotten cleaner in their sound. But their subject matter is still so damn heavy. And no one notices it because they can’t read between the lines
Rage against the machine: born without a face, roll right, wind below, snake charmer etc.
hospital for souls by them
That intro went hard tho
Check out also Happy song from the same concert
Can u do another song from this consert please:(
