Hopefully they'll update the game and add enemies where they are due, like Porcupuffers and Pokeys or even Fire Bros. Especially since the Porcupuffer's first appearance was SMW and they don't even appear in that theme!
I dont really think theres a feasible way to make editing the characteristics of enemies user friendly. Thats one of those things that should be left to romhacking.
Just A Broom by “not user friendly” i mean that youd be doing need to do programming to make it work. Also being able to edit the behavior of enemies gives way too much power to the creator, as a player can never know how an enemy will behave.
For the wiggler design, another thing you might wanna keep in mind is that there are no dry bones sells. I saw that it was a castle themed level which suggested lava surfing. I haven’t actually played the level yet, though. Anyway, the reason you don’t want the dry bones shell is because they could ground pound with it. This is possible in each theme except 3d world. Anyway, the design is nice. Good job!

Personally, I think that the Mech idea is a bit overused or just randomly implemented into some hot garbage levels. Not saying your level is hot garbage, though. It looks really fun! I'm thinking about a New Soup series I'm gonna make, and one thing that has pushed me back from starting is bosses. I hope Koopalings or something like that will be added as DLC later, but for now these boss ideas are great. Especially the Boom Boom one where the walls close in. Anyways, keep up the great content!

Here’s an idea: Mario is standing on crates on rising lava, fire piranha plants are trying to kill him from the Sides so he has to survive. Also this has to be a vertical level for it to last longer. And you can make the arena smaller on the way for a challenge.
A room with challenges that doesn't include fighting anyting is not really a boss fight. Boss fight is usually a big baddie that you fight and when you beat them it's usually the end of (I'm not saying it has to be at the end) a room where you had to avoid somethingfor a little bit and then try to either wait for a timer or to collect key coins is just a challenge room
Very creative ideas, I just got the Nintendo switch and I get a switch game every 2 weeks till I have what I wanted (btw I’m not spoiled) and I’m thinking of making tons of boss fights when I get SMM2 so this is great advice, I also enjoyed the video and gameplay, you deserve more subscribers and you have a new subscription right here. You guys just love the waiting game, then you don't like fireball spam, which, for me, is the same thing. The worst part is that you say: "I hate fireball spam", but the truth is that you don't like boss fights at all! I've never seen anyone complaining that when you get damaged in, say, a traditional level, you lose your power up, but in your "boss fights", you get so mad, and, then, your solution to a non-existent problem is always the on/off switch boring same thing, or the muncher timer boring same thing.
I made one like the Bowser fights in SMB1 where you have to make the blocks disappear to make Bowser fall into the lava thus killing him. I used P-blocks and a P-switch
here is my idea if anyone wants to use it: Twin Parakoopas if you have a level based heavily on on/off switches like my level i am planning on making: "The Dual Temple", this is the boss fight for you. you go into a room with two giant winged koopas, a green one and a red one. they are both on tracks going throughout the room and when one of them is in just the right spot, you can hit an on/off switch to trap one of them, once you have trapped one of them, you can hit the trapped koopa, after you defeat one of the koopas, that gives you time to then focus on the other one and do the same thing. Hope that gave everyone another idea! But if you need another idea, here is one: Goombsphere it is some giant goombas spinning around on a track and you must defeat them all, after you do, you can go inside the circle and hit the on/off switch inside it, unlocking the key to open the door to get out of the room.
So, uh how is that seesaw one a boss? You just stand on a seesaw for a few seconds, there's no challenge no risk of death no nothing. It's just confusing seeing that with the good ideas
I have a good one! You go through a door,(or a pipe.) And then he sees Bowser on an escolater, entering a fire clown car. Then Mario gets in one. There are scewers though, so he has to avoid them, to.
I've wanted to make a slow falling level with the "Beat Blocks" (Red and Blue SM3DW Style) where it drops the player down slowly while getting hammers and fireballs getting thrown at him. Sadly Hammer Bros cannot throw through walls in that verison
I've been trying to make some "kamek" boss fights with the magikoopas. Teleporting around, shooting magic, changing blocks into hindrances or possibly help, stealing the checkpoint flag. They're honestly my favorite enemy in the game.
I really don't like water levels, but something funny you can do with water levels is put a Giant Red Wiggler (With Wings) And It'll chase mario throughout the whole level. It made my water level somewhat interesting, bet it could be useful in the hands of an experienced maker. He also despawns if he goes too far off screen, though.
Move the platform side to…wait…HE's moving side to side… "Mario U"…I don't hear that very often…lotta people just call it "new sup."… I think DGR played that see-saw level…he kinda cheesed the Boom-Boom off the see-saw…
I made a level ( something like kameks circus or something) where I had just a simple boxed room with a big kamek with wings, I also had thwomps on the top left and bottom fit of the screen making it challenging to try and stomp the kamek, seeing as kamek can't be crushed and teleports when about too I thought it was a good boss fight ish arena
In a level I played called Reflection Lake, (DF0-6D4-RSF), the creator used a lot of ice... can you make a video on how to use stuff like ice and icicles right?
i made a pretty cool boss fight in my level based around skewers and thwomps where you need to spin jump on the giant thwomp and stay on it until the skewer destroys all the hard blocks to drop a spiny shell which can be used to destroy the giant thwomp to get the key
