The most important factor for a boss fight is that it forces the player to move around and adapt. Don't make the player repeat the same route over and over and don't just make them wait.

This level shows that you really don’t need too much to turn a boss battle from terrible to good. As long as you keep it interesting, the pieces we are given by the game are always more than enough.
Seeing some ideas we gave during the stream was cool! The level turned out great!

I love the how you change the level! You kept some aspects that were very interesting and replaced the bad ones with incredible ideas I have never seen. The Monty moles with the chain chomps on the Bowser Jr room was my favorite one.

You know, I usually think I make good boss battles (at least not bad ones), but obviously it seems I have room for improvement. Great video!
Btw, I also made a stage recently based around bloopers just so I could make a specific boss. In one of you boss videos, there was a giant blooper boss, and I kinda recreated that in a different way. Now there’s a bunch of cannons shooting at you, and you need to take shells and hit on off blocks with them, which gives you a POW Block after a while. Thanks for the idea!
