Falsehoods in Genesis (feat. AronRa) (AI Audio Remaster) - (Ken) Ham & AiG News

- Опубликовано: 19 фев 2023
- This Paulogia classic episode from July 2017 was plagued with serious audio problems. New AI-based audio enhancement tools did a great job in cleaning it up to not-perfect but quite tolerable quality.
Ken Ham and his team have a bi-weekly "news" show, reacting to the news stories of the day from a Christian young-earth creation perspective from the Answers in Genesis staff at his Creation Museum.
Internet anti-theist legend and evolution champion, AronRa, volunteered his time and sanity to bring us insights into the misguided ramblings of the Answers in Genesis crew.
We joined Dr. Georgia Purdom, Ken Ham, and Bodie Hodge as they answer questions about a fossil bird in amber, weird ice age creature, Bernie Sanders against a Christian politician and unicorns in the bible in the June 19 and July 6 episodes of Answers News.

Lest it is unclear, this is a cleaned-up repost of this old video which had far, far worse audio than what you're hearing now. ruclips.net/video/KieU9nveJtI/видео.html (And yes, it's an Echidna around 14 minutes in, not a platypus.)
Love your videos- but the audio quality is so bad… couldn’t understand anything Aron was saying. Maybe publish a transcript!
Thanks 👍
It’s a great video, glad the sound was cleaned up to better enjoy it.
@@mrmtoad try .75 speed? it made it better in my opinion
@@theidwwashow2537
I tried that myself. Aron Ra sounds more like himself but it is a little too slow. I'm downloading it so I can locally try other speeds like .8 or .85. Sound too much like the chipmunks overall to watch.
I spit out my drink laughing while I was watching a video of Aron Ra explaining that since Noah's Ark only had one window, the 8 people on it would have almost immediately died from methane gas poisoning from the animals farting and pooping!
Ignoring for the moment the methane from belching of the livestock kind, what about the methane from the termites? Surely the termites were aboard and were saved from the flood?
Ken vs Aron? Ken doesn't stand a chance for in a battle of wits, Ken comes unarmed
NO? Point is AronRa listens to the argument brought in, Ken Ham listens only to his own voice.
@@kamion53 I stand by my original comment
In a battle of wits, Ham comes HALF-armed.
I always find this quote/saying VERY funny because my dad introduced me to it and he has consistently come to every engagement completely unarmed himself.
@@johnnehrich9601 I wouldn’t say Ham achieves the half-wit level. Maybe the nitwit level.🤤
I just rewatched a ton of ham and aig news recently. So I was very confused when I just clicked on the notification for a new paulogia video and started listening through it at work. I kept going "didn't I JUST listen to this a week ago"
The audio is much better than the original. And this episode is a gem.
I'm glad for the re upload
I wish Aron and Paulogia collaborated more often. Love both of their understanding of religion and evolution.
Same.
I love the juxtaposition of their personalities. It makes for a good combo
Aron Ra is one of my personal heroes. Thank you for educating me Aron Ra about atheism, and apistevistism and a lot more as well!
agreed
Your heroes are leading you down a path of destruction.
@LuthAMF Correct; this makes you an atheist as well.
Out of 4,000 worldwide recognized religions, you say “nope” to 3,999.
I say “nope” to 4,000.
But please, keep underhandedly calling us undereducated because apparently the church is so much more supportive of learning/understanding, lmfao
@LuthAMF yeah. Some of us have very little resistance to accepting scientific facts. We're not stupid.

I think when I was a kid, seeing the drawings of the animals, two by two, walking calmly up the gangplank, is what did it for me. Like, just no freaking way. 🤣🤣🤣
Agreed its hard enough to get my cat into a car I can't imagine a boat
@Mike Thoroughgood as soon as our kitties see the cat carriers come out, they're under the furniture. They ain't stupid. LOL!
As a young kid, I thought why did Noah get mosquitos, leeches, ticks, tapeworms, and other parasites that endanger humans and other animals on board? I knew this was a totally absurd fable. Santa was more realistic.

I miss H&E! I think you said you just don't do it as much because Hammy isn't there, but damn they're fun and the jingle is great.
I could hear Ra breaking, like it was causing him actual trauma to watch it.
Super team-up.
The first time I was beaten up was in second grade when I did a show and tell about how Noah's Ark never happened.
There's no hate like christian hate. Christians are the same through the centuries: the inquisition and conversion at sword point is in their nature.
I don't know why but this made me laugh hysterically for a good 30-40 seconds. Not about you getting shit for the presentation, not at all, but I just picture a smart-ass kid just telling it like it is and knowing the kids listening to him were almost certainly too dumb to even comprehend what was being said. I remember back in Jr High (early 70s), I overheard a girl say the evolution was false. I was shocked to hear this. I was naive enough to think that everyone accepted Biological Evolution. That is what got me into what creationists were saying.
Love it when you have AronRa on the channel.

Glad you actually showed a Platypus eventually. The Echidna is also a monotreme like the Platypus, the only two left in the world now(well actually there are three but the third is another Species of Echidna only found in the New Guinea highlands.)
I'm not Roman Catholic but I went to a Jesuit High school and later, when I was a biology and chemistry teacher, I knew a student teacher who applied to teach at my old high school. The first question they asked her was, did she accepted macroevolution and that the Earth is approximately 4.6 billion years old. She said, yes, and they said, that's good, as we have an absolute policy against hiring science teachers who don't accept macroevolution or an old Earth. About 90% of Christians worldwide don't belong to a denomination that dogmatically rejects natural history or holds that Scripture is literal with regard to history or natural history.
Still I’m not sure which is better, the belief that all of the Bible is true, or the kinder, gentler version of belief that while some parts of the Bible aren’t literally true, the other parts are the absolutely true foundation of their faith. One side is more consistent, the other is cherry picking using their own personal morality to judge which parts of the Bible are teaching morality.
I say start over and read thru the whole Bible without assuming it’s true at all.
Something I wondered as a child, while still believing was why did God need a flood? Why couldn't he just speak them out of existence the way he spoke everything into existence?
Yeah, his methodology seems to be scarily related to “natural disaster” as his way of handling anything. Even child murder! He used bears instead of speaking to those kids :) (Kings 22:23)
@@dryfox11 That does seem like a bit of an over reaction.
I think Aron Ra miss the biggest flaw in the flood myth, it is not that Noah had all the animals on rather small ship but rather that gods plan to remove all "evil" failed, god only saved Noha and some in his family for he was the only good person on the earth, so all the sinners and atheists of today are directly related to Noah that was also the first sinnes after the flood.
No. The biggest flaw in the flood myth is the heat problem. If you don’t know about that, then you’re missing true hilarity.
He did say that The biggest flaw is absolutely all of it. But God's repeated failures don't bode well for heaven.
agreed, tho I think Aron has also made that point elsewhere
@@BenjaminSteber I'm ignorant about this...
Fintan Mac Bóchra survived the flood too.
What came to my mind recently thinking about a global flood was that if that had happened, all the papyrus, mummys, cave paintings and other artefacts that don't like moist, would have been destroyed by that. How could all of that stay intact while being soaked in water for a year, and, for some parts, not being able to dry properly afterwards?
Perhaps it wasn’t a global flood. Maybe it was a world flood which is not necessarily global. Could have just been in that geological area. That was their world at the time. I’m not claiming that per day but it is a possibility.
@@ianalan4367 Then it’s a “flood.” They happen all the time when constrained to a certain geographical area. A WORLD FLOOD is a global flood.
@ironbridge - Your post isn’t showing but you made a valid point that deserves an answer. Today I can easily agree with you that a world flood would mean the entire globe. I’m not certain they realized that back in circa 1000BC
The earliest writings I am aware of for the existence of an entire planet (globe) are circa 5BC
You may be correct. Or not.
It's a miracle!🤫😜🫣Sorry...got carried away...like everything does in a flood.🤷
Love this guy his knowledge jus blows my mind I love how he has an accurate scientific answer to everything a religious person comes at him with love it
Ra is so great. I really love how he has compassion for people looking for answers, but no patience for the grifters and shreds them. I've seen people treat both groups the same and they're just not. He sees that and treats them appropriately.
To me This is what the wwwebs was meant for as well @@yerocb . Spreading knowledge is what ""they"" are scared of. The pandemic is a Perfect Example. Just wish that more people from around the World would watch AronRa's vids.
@yerocb I think that's an important lesson when discussing religion, or any reason-defying group or anti-science movement: the real truth-seekers who believe they are rational in their belief need a proper explanation why it is incorrect. The zealots, on the other hand, only need a recitation of Hitchens' razor.
Damn I got excited that there was new Paulogia + Aron Ra content when I saw the notification. You should really do a fresh collab sometime soon!

Two of the greats.
Lol, I like the quote "they could literally put snake oil on shelves and sell it" dates just a few years before the whole horse dewormer bleach drinking became so popular with a certain crowd.
To be fair, ivermectin is FDA approved for humans as an anti-parasitic and has been used as such for many years around the world. I am not saying it should be used for COVID, but it is more than just “horse dewormer”. Just sayin’ (no, I didn’t take it. Lol)

Ken Ham denying that apes are his ancestors is truly hilarious.

The Ham & Eggs theme song beings me so much joy! ☺️ Please make it a ringtone!
Even if kids didn’t see Aron’s sign, the materials on RUclips like this will reach many and help wake them up in years to come. And I like the comment early on that ppl growing up taught young earth creationism are becoming activists against this deception and indoctrination!

Aron has taught me more about biology than I ever had in high school. (Though to be fair, I found my calling in Physics followed by Computer Science. The only biology was but a blip in freshman year, but I digress.) So, I couldn't say that I have heard about evolution outside the context of a Pokemon game until I found Aron's channel, and the rest is history. (Later Pokemon installments would offer more accurate aspects of evolution such as unique variants gaining unique subsequent forms bringing the concepts of evolution full circle for me.)
How do you know he is correct? A bio supercomputer doesn't create itself with no intelligence involved.
@@jamiehudson3661 And a watch needs a watchmaker. Your point?
@cobalt4045 Yes, it does. However, the Atheists think the rules, logic, and rationality don't apply to their beliefs.
@@jamiehudson3661 Look, I can see in your other postings that Kitzmiller v Dover was a real downer, and no science-minded individual (regardless of religious affiliation or lack thereof) has been able to come forward and present a cohesive model for intelligent design. Unfortunately, that's no reason to project your own shortcomings into others as it makes you look silly.
All you have to do is present a model that does more than say "God did it." I know that Creationists bristle at the thought of describing it as magic, but you don't have to do that. You can just explain what mechanisms were employed, and explain them better than the current models, and share some experiments to help us ascertain your model. Trying to poke the current models is doing nothing to build up your own, and no amount of AIG or DI talking points will change that.
But if you can figure it out, more power to you. Imagine not getting the Nobel Prize for finding evolution but being the one to find God. That would be stellar, but it's going to require a lot more than what you are doing now. I'll be rooting for you!
@cobalt4045 You don't need a "model" to realize that bio supercomputers can't build themselves with intelligence, only common sense. I suppose you believe that complex instructions write themselves as well with no intelligence needed.
Whenever I hear the Ham & Aigs intro, I know were in for a good video
Got to love Aron tearing these "stupid" people to shreds.
I apparently did no watch the original post of this, so I don't have a comparison. However, AI Audio Remastering still has a long way to go. There were a lot of spots in this where I could not understand either of you because the audio was so bad. However, great video, I always enjoy Aron and his outlook on the fraud of creationism.
Thanks Paul and Aron.

No worries on the sound. I listened on .75 speed. Perfect! 😉
It's great hearing the most polite and the most erudite speakers on RUclips today pounding on the insanity of believing in a false story that's only there to make people feel good
Great video. Thank you. Sound is a lot better.
Oh I am actually curious how well the ai handled this, I do remember this video, but yeah, Aron's sound quality was really bad.
Poorly. It's so garbled it's almost unintelligible.
Soooo... I guess you could say that when it comes to AIG, truthful information is as rare as hen's teeth..

Bummer. I thought this was going to be a debate. That I would even pay to watch!
Funny how I went to that ark park with my church years back, yet they never told us any of this stuff about it when we asked why we couldn't go back in the following years.
Under IRC Sec. 501(c)3 which is what I assume Ken's non profit org falls under there are two main tax reporting requirements for religious institutions as follows:
1) If the institution is religious in nature, but does not fit the stricter definition of a "church", it is required to file a Form 990 information return with the irs and possibly similar or a copy of the fed report filed with state authorities. These usually are ministry activity entities which do not act as a church.
2) The institution is a "church" under the rules of the irs and has gone through it's review then authorization process. But to be a church, the entity must have a clerical hierarchy, established and written statement of doctrines, requirements for acceptance of individuals in clerical positions, preform sacraments, and the like. It is a very strict definition in which an entity receiving this classification does not have any annual reporting requirements to the IRS or most States unless it engages in one of a number of prohibited transactions such as unrelated net business income greater than $1,000USD, political activities (which is often brazenly breached knowing the IRS will never take action), transactions with disqualified persons or entities (usually founders, people who work for it, related entities, etc.), and such.
I am retired after almost 4 decades in international tax law and have a specialty in tax exempt entities. I have set up a church in the SW US and the IRS did come back to us twice with more questions before finally granting church status. I have set up numerous other tax exempt charities and private foundations over the years and enjoyed as it is an area of tax that is not well known by many in my field. Unfortunately, I have also come across a church in particular who wanted me to play some games with wages and housing allowance to give him even more favorable and lower taxes, I informed him that unless the board would issue a new W2 changing his wages and housing allowance, I was not going to falsify both returns (the ministry, it was not a church, a d his own returns). I did not see him again and that's okay. I don't risk my reputation and license for anyone. As usual Ken and his bunch are spam artist as you both correctly point out. Thanks for the video!
That intro, ham and eggs, I'm dying 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Love you Paul
How can i get on here to be interviewed? I would love to get advice on how to take these debates to my local church which i am forced to perform at.
I think the ark building would be a great mini mall with restaurants when Ham is done with it. At that point it would be similar to many other fictional attractions, like Disney. 🤔

I want Kentucky to legalize prostitution. Then turn the Ark into one big brothel. And good news, the place already has plenty of parking.
I really, really wish Aron had been able to debate Ham instead of Nye on that historic debate.
You're right, Ham would be less famous
That's definitely part of the reason.
Heck yes!

I'm a Christian and I love the Word Of God. This therefore means I believe in Genesis.
I love these videos because surprisingly they reinforce my belief in God and the bible.
Kinda like how you see the grass on the other side and realise the grass is greener on yours.

Which Genesis do you believe: the simultaneous creation of man and woman, or the creation of woman from part of a man? His word is a bit confused isn't it? Where do you stand on Lilith?
_"I'm a Christian..."_
How do you justify literally worshiping ritual human sacrifice?
_"...they reinforce my belief in God and the bible."_
So you believe, without any evidence, that God walked around town for thirty years and then died and became a zombie and then the graves opened and the corpses and skeletons rose out and "appeared to many" and all of that happened without any of the locals noticing.
@@twitherspoon8954 Worshipping ritual human sacrifice? Was that allowed for Christians?
That second comment of yours is literally a straw man argument.
What is a zombie? Is it the physical aspect of dead humans that are woken up?
If so, is that what the Bible you are quoting says? Or it was their spirits and therefore not zombies.
And what do you mean without the locals noticing. The story you are misquoting literally says they were seen by the people of the city.
What evidence do you want that Jesus walked among us? Because the evidence is there, except you deny everything and want to continue living your life your way, claiming we can do without God.
But let me ask, what kind of evidence are you looking for?
@@MrAaronvee His Word is not confused, it is our understanding that is confused.
The bible shows how man was created first and then the woman. The simultaneous creation you speak of, do you mean creating them spiritually?

Birds have a wrist joint in the front of the wing, and that's where they get hurt the most. They have a perfectly reasonable shoulder and elbow joint with three bones and a third joint that needs 3 bones and it has a bunch of bones and usually 3 main ones but when they are young it's more and the metacarpal bone is just messy. It could be one or two bones from the get go, but God gave it 12 metacarpal bones that look like fingers to make a metacarpal bone in the end, hopefully, because that way it looks more interesting on an x-ray?
Hang on a second. Thinking about the Ark's self-reported visitor stats. Their deal was they'd give the city(?) a cut from each ticket sold, so the Ark started selling group tickets in order to sell fewer tickets. Their group tickets are for "15 people or more". How much do you wanna bet they count every group ticket as 20 or 30 or 50 or 100 people? How many people fit in a school bus?
Google: _How many people fit on a bus? School bus capacity depends on the mix of children and adults. However, for the purpose of planning, a large school bus can transport a maximum of 48 adult riders (2 per seat) or 72 children (3 per seat)._ Do I hear a bell going 'ding ding ding'? Or is that a cash register going cha-ching?
You don't hear either sound. The ark is practically always empty. Barely anyone ever visits
@@drsatan9617 I mean, Ken Ham did defraud the local government out of millions of dollars a couple times over. What was it, 31 million in tax credits? All those per-ticket payoffs dodged? Selling the Ark to himself for ten dollars to avoid paying more taxes?

Paul, any chance you could write out the subtitles because it’s very confusing to Deaf viewers. Try watching your video with subtitles and no sound and you’ll be confused. The auto subs are better than nothing but it’s still confusing. I know it’s a lot of work but it would help immensely
Also Aaron, I know it would be speculation but which “categories of dinosaurs “ became modern bidrds?
The flying ones i’d have to guess
The ones that could fly? Never heard of Archaeopteryx?
The story of Noah is no more unbelievable or impossible than the resurrection of Jesus or even his turning of water into wine.
But the difference, and it's huge, is that while resurrections and transmutations are acts of pure magic, people like Ken Ham claim that the flood story actually happened as written, totally without any miraculous intervention. That the whole tale, with all of its patent absurdities, went down exactly as portrayed in the Bible, by way of solely mundane, practical means known and available to people of 4,000 years ago.
Small nitpick but i wouldn't say that rabbits are "reasonably close" to ruminants
Guys, while talking about the platypus you have an echidna on the screen.
Who did the audio on this? Aron sounds like he is driving down a bumpy road talking on his cordless phone.
The audio still sounds wonky to me :(
What in the hell, that AI did an incredible job. The audio on the original video was so bad I was never able to watch it as my hearing isn't great!
I think unicorns are the most plausible mythical creature. They're basically skinny rhinos.
Just want to clarify one thing that the Creationists got right: when they said that you can "turn on genes and get teeth." He was probably referring to experiments with HOX genes. HOX genes are genes that activate other sequences of genes. Every cell has all the DNA necessary to produce every trait in the cell. In order to produce a certain kind of cell, and ONLY that cell, organisms rely on HOX genes to activate the correct sequences, which leads to specialized cells, tissues, organs, etc. When the appropriate HOX genes were inserted into chicken embryos, they were able to grow teeth. Unfortunately for the evolution deniers, this is a stunning proof of the birds' descending from extinct non-avian dinosaurs.
If they build the cave of Lot interactive display I'll visit.
