Zander could leave his back seat in to equalize the weight, and help his rear-end HOOK. While you're friend can take his back seats out, even though he'll lose a little of the weight transfer effect. Then, All things might be considered the same. I suggest weighing each of your cars at the CAT Scale with each driver standing on the platform. Lund=street Palm beach tuning=track IMO. I just installed stainless power catless headers along with a Lund racing tune ( also have full exhaust and a pmas 120mm) and I can FULLY agree that the shifts are very smooth when in drive. Which is a great advantage for me since Im using my stang as a daily for now. I can also definitely agree that PB is nasty and combines great with supercharged/whippled stangs. Both tuners are great to have at the end of the day.
So far seems Lund wins. Palm Beach seems too aggressive leads to easy spin out. Lund less aggressive but more stable. What tires were on Lund tuned looked like Michelin
@@cmdrdredd Im saying he wins because hes on stock tire. Zander hasnt been able to hook on stock tires and has been trying to find right tires. Im sure they can change the tune though.
I would like to add that: How much damage is being done to the transmission overtime? Would like to know how many runs do you get? What is the cost difference between the 2 tunes?
All of you DO understand that Ken owner of pbd worked for Lund as Lunds main tuner for years before opening pbd. You also should know Ken was instrumental in getting yolo down to Florida / Power by the hour way back when. Line pressure is lower is why the shifts feel different...
Drag mode always punches into the next gear, its a nice chirp on a prepped surface but straight spinning on the street,..Drag mode, TC & AdvanceTrac off is a recipe for disaster on the street surface...

As I have said before, the pbd tune has a hesitation. Simply put. Went with Lund- ran faster. The hesitation is almost like it ran out of air and fuel.
A lot of the shifting I think is in how or when the 10r80 was built. Our 17 raptor shifting way harder then our 18 raptor all stock both trucks. My 18 mustang seemed to shift way harder then any other 18 I ever road in an it was stock. I know the tunes can firm things up a lot but the extreme differences in stock 10r80s is crazy.
Yea Edelbrock on Stage 1 doesn't touch trans, and my hesitates before shifts from day 1....just like Zanders lately it shifts lower and lower rpm in drag mode didnt yours do that Underfed? Question here to give Zander the traffic
Supposed to be an intuitive transmission. Learns your driving style. Mustangs like all performance cars are hard to drive any one way for the trans to learn. There is a way to reset the trans and start over so to speak. Mine was shifting extremely hard when new. It has smoothed out amazingly. Research the reset. Won't hurt..might help. I didn't see it was underfed...You probably know this already....the
BlueCollarDaily the 17 raptor was horrible shifting up an down. Sometimes on the downshifts the ass end would lock up an slid. The 18 raptor is great in Baja mode it’s very firm an crisp shifts but in eco bitch mode it’s smooth an nice. My wife hates when I drive it I always use sport mode an it’s fun. But the 17 even in eco mode it was always looking for gears an shifting really hard. I believe the 17 had a recall an they were suppose to fix the valve body’s. But we didn’t own the 17 long enough for the recall to activate. But my 18 GT before the trans burned up the second gear hit was so hard in drag mode would knock my cameras off the windows when I had drag radials on it. After they rebuilt the trans I didn’t even get to drive it to see if the rebuild made any differences. I wonder now if the new valve body would of helped that 1-2 shift hit.
@@thereissomecoolstuff mine was same when when brand new I got some jerks downshifting easing up to stop signs ect and it would hold the higher gear to long going to lower on decel...and slam me in the seat in drag mode...now its WAY weaker shifting in drag mode stiff firm but not knock your socks off firm...and to me other than normal mode it seemed to relearn when I put the supercharger on it over time.... I need to research resetting it when I go to stage 2
@@bluecollardaily2676 pretty much the same here. I think you just need to disconnect the battery. Allison trans you used to repeatedly go 60 mph and drop the trans into low..it wouldn't do it due to the computer but it would reset.
You should race each other dig/roll to see who’s faster! Anyway years ago I had a reputable mustang tuner get salty when he found out I tried another tuning company just to see the difference. Dude was nuts! The douchebag immediately cut me off from his tuning services. He also contacted my new tuner (he knew them personally apparently) and made up lies about me to them, they dropped me too. Btw I picked up two 10ths in my 2014 auto gt from just a transmission tune no engine tune. Loaded the tune at the track to see the difference. I prefer to feel the hard shifts over the smooth shifts, much more satisfying feeling.
I have palm beach Dyno on my 2019 Mustang GT. I have to say it's on point. I'm fixing to get a Whipple 3.0 lv3 from Palm Beach Dyno in the near future. Both of them are great tuners. Just always figure out what direction your going to choose on your build especially if you start tuning na then want to go boost. I say this due to having to buy a new tune after boosting my car. So talk to the tuning company about your plans to verify they will tune it!!!!!!
I dynoed both tunes back to back on my 2015 GT with whipple and the PB dyno tune made 40whp more. I compared Lund’s datalogs to even Whipple’s tune and he is extremely conservative.
It studdard because hes in dragstrip mode and the advance trac is active and when the tires break the car short shifts. If you had it in track mode the advance trac is off and it hammers at 78k every shift. Just sayn. Use the trans brake.
There is a reason why people crash these cars ,the reaer struts, suspension set up etc. Sucks for the base 5.0's and also adding on top that the tires are too skinny in the rear and they dont catch on.
You can’t get any better than Lund, I will back those dudes forever. They have the game held down on 10r80 cars and mustangs overall, they kick ass no better tuner than lund
Well, and I can say this as a portly man. They would have to run each other then swap cars and run each other or weight them the cars and new dude be allowed to take out weight to equalize it... Aka they need to weight the same as they go down the strip but even that also changes static weight bias and affects traction so it's going to be hard to get a for real apples to apples.... However same weight down track and swap lanes 3 runs be great
The fact that Lund doesn't have to talk shit about other tuning companies in order to get customers should say allot. Paramount (not palm beach dyno) trys to talk down other companies to get publicity from time to time and that says allot about the company. I'll take Lund everyday.
Palm beach is a very reputable tuner. But i think the best tuner in the country is abel racing out of OKC. He can put more reliable power in your ride than anyone. I've seen cars come from other shops with 800 whp but they had spark knock, abel took the same car got 950 whp and was perfect
smooth and quick on the shift, Lund wins! its def a more refined tune, palm beach seems to extend the power band to long, my vote goes Lund hands down

If I were closer, I'd offer to do a 3 way comparison of tuners, because I know mine compares in all performance aspects, and beats both Lund and PBD on price.
@@Zander13Productions
Lund shifts sound way faster, the PBD tune sounded almost like a 6R80 shifting lol
Getting my 10 speed mustang in a few months! Lund racing will be the first I go to and will be starting my RUclips channel
Love this comparison video. I love watching Alex’s channel. I can’t wait to see the race and dyno vids. Holla.
Dyno video coming Monday. It might surprise you
Wow...you responded quickly. Lol. I follow a lot of car RUclips channels and I really appreciate the ones who take the time to reply. You, StangMode, and Speed Addict 731 do a great job responding. I know it’s hard for you to respond to all post, but it’s cool for the fans to get a response every now and then. I’m looking forward to what you have in store for Monday. Holla.
Thanks. I strive to be as fast as possible. After all. It’s the fans that make all this possible 💪💪💪🙏🙏🙏
I love PBD
Im thinking about switching from PBD to Lund because of the transmission shifts and the higher RPM from PBD.
seems to much weight on one side
Lmao
So far seems Lund wins. Palm Beach seems too aggressive leads to easy spin out. Lund less aggressive but more stable. What tires were on Lund tuned looked like Michelin
Factory MPS4S
@@jeremywinslow7345 Ok then Lund def wins.
Laxie Sanders lol win what? That spin out was from driver error. If the tires don’t grip you’re done...get off the throttle
@@cmdrdredd is right, I screwed up. I wasnt used to how his car reacts to shifts.
@@cmdrdredd Im saying he wins because hes on stock tire. Zander hasnt been able to hook on stock tires and has been trying to find right tires. Im sure they can change the tune though.
Great vidod, enjoyed it. I ll be watching more from DYNO etc. Good stuff..
Dyno video Monday
I would like to add that: How much damage is being done to the transmission overtime? Would like to know how many runs do you get? What is the cost difference between the 2 tunes?
4:41 in video says it all. Just gave PBD my $$ bc this video. Zander13 has great content and vids.
Thanks 💪💪💪 you will love it
I think I just shit my pants!!!! IRS loves to come around quickly.....your honest reactions were hilarious. Thankfully no accident.
Is IRS any more likely to come around then a solid rear?
All of you DO understand that Ken owner of pbd worked for Lund as Lunds main tuner for years before opening pbd.
You also should know Ken was instrumental in getting yolo down to Florida / Power by the hour way back when. Line pressure is lower is why the shifts feel different...
Oakley Gascan sunglasses are in the glovebox of all mustangs after 2000 😂
Love my palm Beach dyno tune !!
Me too
LUND is way better! They hold ALL the records period…….
@@Marcus2750-u1t Lund is a great tuner. Nothing against them . It's all about your choice but I love my Palm Beach dyno tune. Period
Nice video man. Wanted to do this for awhile. Glad you didn't crash! Lol
😎
Zander great content bro.
Thanks 💪
Drag mode always punches into the next gear, its a nice chirp on a prepped surface but straight spinning on the street,..Drag mode, TC & AdvanceTrac off is a recipe for disaster on the street surface...
When you do 3 360's on the interstate and it stalls sideways with on coming traffic.... Text me!!! Lost a few yrs on my life that day I'm sure. Just so you guys know I didn't wreck or get hit. So lucky!!!! Keep up these videos Zander13
Go somewhere and line up side by side and find out which is better/faster! Very Easy! 😄
I like the hard shift👍
Me too
Zander13 If it’s not shifting in hard it’s slipping in easy you’re losing time or seconds on the track👍
Good point
If you're doing a head to head then Zander needs about 150lbs of ballast - don't forget!
Palm Beach = Ear and seat candy
Lund= Years of research for optimal performance.
Whatever floats your boat and the choice is up to you !!!
Ricky Drone - in all fairness, how long has Ken Bjonnes been in the game / has had a solid track record of delivering quality service to customers?
Lund and PBD are both legit.
lol biased comments if I’ve ever seen one. Both are legit and make great power and drivability
I wouldnt say which is "better" it's more of which do you prefer. I like the way the Lund tune shifts better, however that is personal preference.
@@powerandpose3217 :Totally agree with being biased. Here is a Lund tune from about five years ago. This car has been upgraded even more at the present time and is faster.
ruclips.net/video/fdkhOTHsKis/видео.html
Great vid! Some footage of the outside of the car as well would be nice in the future.
Yes.
What about 5star, Livernois and oz tuning?
U may be able to get either tuner to tweak the shifts for smooth or hard gear changes
Yes exactly
Well, let's forget everything and listen to both cars when they shift. I'll go for Lund. Now the next step drag strip and we will see the results. Again I'll go for Lund all day.
You guys need to stop letting other people drive your cars.... WTF
on this episode of wifeswap.
I agree i won't let my wife drive my truck my son is the only person to drive my shit.
Gotta do it for the clot or whatever it's called lol
As I have said before, the pbd tune has a hesitation. Simply put. Went with Lund- ran faster. The hesitation is almost like it ran out of air and fuel.
It sounds like a spark cut during the shift. I guess PBD has a little more Torque management when shifting.
The thing to keep in mind and its car dependent, for quicker et's you want to just about run out of gear rolling into the traps.
I really like the burgundy with black trim on Jeremy's car, although Carnage's red and black scheme also looks great.
Ruby red is not burgundy royal crimson is lol
I’m currently running a Lund 91-93 tune and I have the MT-82.
Ironhead704...The tune is great. Installed it with the Ngauge with ease, emailed data log back to Lund, tune came back spot on. No revision needed.
AED or Bama? 4 way compared
Are you using the Osmo? I love ours.
No. iPhone lol

@@Zander13Productions Do me a favor and send me a private message on Instagram I need the Media contact phone number for American Muscle?
It's just mainly preference
Lund tunes cost , ? Remote tunes prices?
Only have JLT, Palm Tune, Armytrix Exhaust, so far. And it's incredibly aggressive. Can't wait to see it with supercharger. Or I might go turbocharger. Lean more to that Whipple 3.0.
I do have my car in my channel.
Thanks for sharing.
What did u end up getting and how was it?
@@sawedoff1722 I went a totally different route with the car. Ended up sending it to Shelby and turn it into a Super Snake. Now just sits in the garage. 😩
That previous comment 3 years ago they both are good tuners. It was tune for E85 and 93. And it is still tune for it.
@@7DiceGaming oh damn 😂 yeah m8 I’m just a 18 year old kid with a budget just got a 2019 10 speed and I wanna know what’s the best thing to do first. Like if it’s a e85 tune a intake, exhausts, etc. I’m trying to make something for roll races
@@sawedoff1722 first thing cold air intake and tune. E85 and 93. You will see major differences. There is a video some where on RUclips of a guy taking a stock GT then adds a tune and JLT cold air. Just thoes 2 things and out runs a Roush with a Supercharger. It was crazy.
@@7DiceGaming nvm completely ignore what I just said if u saw that I read ur comment too fast. I’m not too familiar with modding and stuff tho as this is my first car and first one to mod. Will I need a tuning device that I purchase online to make this work if so what do I do cause I’m not quite sure how it works.
PBD FTW!💪
my ear dyno loves the way that lund tune sounds and acts...revs and shifts like tq converted dragster should.
It studdard because hes in dragstrip mode and the advance trac is active and when the tires break the car short shifts. If you had it in track mode the advance trac is off and it hammers at 78k every shift. Just sayn. Use the trans brake.
Some of your better content Alex.
Thanks. Big video coming Monday too
Wow never take the stability control off. And buy a dragy to compare.
the car will pull power and apply brakes when it shifts if you leave the stability control on...if you wanna go fast, you turn it off.
@@buckeyeman7631 better safe then sorry
Ricardo Simon more like learn when to let out instead of staying in it lmao
@@1jcm7 yeah but not everyone thinks this way
Ricardo Simon you’re 100% right, exactly why I’ll never do a dig with tc off without my drs on haha
There is a reason why people crash these cars ,the reaer struts, suspension set up etc. Sucks for the base 5.0's and also adding on top that the tires are too skinny in the rear and they dont catch on.
I thought the name "Carnage" had nothing to do with this cars luck but after this video I'm a believer that you need to change the name.
The Curse
Great video
To even go up against Lund is a huge Accomplishment
What about the gearing between the 2 cars? That would make more of a difference than the tune.. imo
Both are 3.55
You can’t get any better than Lund, I will back those dudes forever. They have the game held down on 10r80 cars and mustangs overall, they kick ass no better tuner than lund
How much timing do they have added to your cars ??? It has to be timing added that’s what’s throwing you back every shift
I don't know off hand. mine has some spark cut left in between shifts, which is a good thing
You will only know when you take them to the dragstrip...
However same weight down track and swap lanes 3 runs be great
How does lund tune car feel zander
Video is out now!
Have u n him run each other at the track yet
stangbangin' coyote not yet
The fact that Lund doesn't have to talk shit about other tuning companies in order to get customers should say allot. Paramount (not palm beach dyno) trys to talk down other companies to get publicity from time to time and that says allot about the company. I'll take Lund everyday.
Lund actually does talk shit. Look at Alex Flores- YOLO. That’s all he does...
Does the aggressive shifting mean more strain on the transmission...? Especially for the A10s?
Palm beach is a very reputable tuner. But i think the best tuner in the country is abel racing out of OKC. He can put more reliable power in your ride than anyone. I've seen cars come from other shops with 800 whp but they had spark knock, abel took the same car got 950 whp and was perfect
