I started playing guitar on a whim about 3 weeks ago and i want to play my favorite song, i have the strumming and chords down (barre chords are tough but i am getting better lol) now its really just the chorus and i have to practice but this has been so helpful thank you very much sir!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@metreoauxide I am able to play the song entirely through now :) It took maybe 30 minutes of just doing the strumming over and over again to get it. The chorus strum was just the D DU UDU standard so i knew it from different songs

If someone have dificult in the verse, the rithm of strumming is like it's singin "there is a light that never goes out - tatata". After play it on the Am, start playing again in the F/C and play the C in the "never" and the G in the "goes out - tatata"

Have you ever thought about just showing how to play it correctly rather than showing a modified version because you think people will need it to be easier?
I'm quite pleased that the easier versions of F are mentioned as options here, I've played guitar as a hobby (badly, I will be honest) since I was 16, I'm now 40, and I am a lazy learner, I've never been able to pull off the proper versions of chords like F and B, I know, commit enough practice and I will get it, but I just play for a bit of fun at home, focusing on mainly major chords on a an acoustic guitar running through a variety of oasis songs that can be identified by my family members who happen to walk past. It's just nice to hear its ok, rather than being told you must only play the conventional and pretty difficult F

This song is in the key of c# minor (a minor shape with the capo on the fourth fret) it’s not in C like you like you claimed.
I think he meant it'd be the key if you were playing without the capo, as he was naming the open shapes instead of what was actually being played
